Cobeads Reviews

I am a first time jewelry maker I didn't know what to expect when i placed this order. When I received this order the charms are so well made and the choices are wonderful. If you don't know what you want this is the answer. The volume gives you so many choices you can't go wrong. 5 out of 5 stars.

Happy with beads and will order again. The beads as descriptions and exactly what I wanted. The quality is so good.

Ordering was quick and easy and the beads arrived much more quickly than anticipated considering they're shipping from China. I ordered pressed glass leaves and they were in great shape, looked as they had on the site. No broken beads yet and only one bead out of a pack of 500 that was poorly drilled. The wire was also excellent quality.

Excellent! Quality products at great prices. Order was 100% accurate and shipment was fast.

I had a client request for a piece using beads from a site she had found. I checked out Cobeads and warned her that it was located in China. Generally companies from this country have a lack of integrity and notoriously bad customer service. It was quite disappointing to learn that this was true for Cobeads.

Part of my order was OK, nothing special or outstanding. Three of my items were not the same quality/grade as pictured. The Maifanite that my client wanted consisted of oranges and yellows with many clearly defined bullseyes. The Amazonite and Peridot were transparent with color ranging from light to dark. Unfortunately the Maifanite I received was a dull murky gray with dull tans. The bullseyes were mostly random swirls, not clearly defined as they were in the listing. The Amazonite and Peridot were both very opaque/milky with little color variance in shade. It is natural for there to be differences between the images in their listing and the actual item, however, completely different colors, patterns, and grade are simple deception.

I sent 6 emails in total to their customer service. Two of them included images from their website and items received to illustrate the issues. I also clearly explained the difference in quality and grade. Each time I was given a different answer and run-around. At no time did they offer resolution or accept that they were responsible for not shipping what they advertised.

My client was pretty disappointed as was I. If you don't mind getting something different from what you have ordered then this is the place for you. If you would prefer to get what you paid for, then skip this company. There are many more reputable companies out there that are trustworthy and will treat you with respect.

Being a jewellery shop owner, I was keen to source some fine jewellery from China, especially those featuring jade. I decided to try out Cobeads.com with a few orders before entrusting them with more. My experience was great, Cobeads provided some of the best jewellery that I have in my collection and the response from the customers has been quite positive. While getting good jewellery is not always difficult, getting it easily delivered to me has been a challenge. Thankfully, Cobeads are good at getting their items shipped and delivered also. Overall, it's hard for me to pick any faults with their service.
