I ordered the Honduras beans and the limited edition Sundrift beans—both are organic and taste spectacular. They arrived incredibly fresh, perfectly roasted, and the delivery was impressively fast. I placed my order on Wednesday and received it via DHL the very next day. Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee if you have a preference for Italian/continental roasts. I'd been really struggling to find a UK-based roaster who specialised in these darker-than-dark roasts, which lend themselves well to Italian-style espressos, french press or moka pot coffee. I would recommend their Espresso No 2/3 blends for the former and the Italian Roast blend for the latter.

Their decaff coffee is easily the best I've ever had and makes terrific, full bodied espressos. That alone earns Coffee Plant a positive review.

The beans arrived safely within a couple of days of ordering, so I have no issue with the service.

My only caveat is that no roast date is provided on each bag, so I have taken the Best Before Date as 6 months on from the point of roasting. (Just be aware that coffee beans should be rested for up to 2 weeks, immediately after roasting, to optimise flavour - dark roasts typically only need 5-7 days.)

So, in short: highly recommended.

Used to buy my coffee beans regularly from this place when I worked near Ladbroke Grove in the late 90s/early 2000s. Great place and coffee was ethically sourced and sometimes cheaper than supermarkets. Over the years, I'd pop in and buy some beans, maybe have a coffee while there. I live and work on the other side of London in recent years so maybe visited once or twice a year, but still dropping when in the area over 20 years. First visit in nearly a year last week and I was a bit shocked and dissapointed at the prices.
Over £25 per kilo for some beans. I know there's a global costing/commodity issue but I still thought it was too much. I chatted with the guy who worked there about it and he said it was a global issue which I was aware of, but I declined to buy any. Sad, but I don't think I'll bother visiting again.

I love this roasters coffee, especially the decaf beans (the best!), all more affordable than most.

This review, however, is about their cocoa powder which I've just bought and just made in to hot chocolate. My! This is truly the best mug of hot chocolate I've ever had, and I made it! It's obviously not just down to me but to this truly delicious cocoa. Buy it! - every household should have this in their cupboard especially now the weather has turned chilly.

I live in the Merseyside area and have used this supplier based in London via mail order for about 4 years for mostly Monsoon Malibar. They have never let me down .In every way I have found them reliable and very friendly. In particular Adelle in the Roastery and mail order section who will always answer the phone [unlike many modern companies] She is very helpful and friendly.I dont buy my coffee anywhere else the quality is fantastic and consistent I would highly recommend this company I hope to visit the Roastery one day Many thanks again Adelle!!!!!

Best coffee. Buying coffee there from years on and get addicted to its aroma and taste, simply best coffee you can buy on the go. They have as well large selection of coffee beans from different parts of the world than you can buy per weight. Highly recommend for morning coffee lovers.

User these people in the past (some years ago) to buy coffee by post, doing so happily for a couple of years.
I had a particular bag size I always ordered & it was supplied without any problem.

Then I went into the shop & when I asked for the same bag size, was told that they had never supplied this size.
I believe it was the manager I saw & was subjected to extremely aggression as they continued to deny what I said.
So never went back.
