Coldwater Creek does not have customer service. The representative is AI generated and cannot carry on a conversation. It can only process certain responses. I appreciate the ability to talk to a person.

Unfortunately, I ordered a gift item of over $150. Then I track delivery, which stated it would not be shipped for 2 months! Way past the birthday it was intended for. Then I get mixed excuses from Ann, Raquel and Marge. I try to cancel within 2 days. Suddenly they I'm told, it's being shipped today! And if I don't like that, I can return the item....of course, who pays postage? Do I trust they'll give me back my money? No! Never do business with these scammers!

They are impossible to make an exchange with. They charge you $5 to just try to make an exchange. Do not find this process legitimate. Highly do not recommend them!!
Just spent 1/2 hour just trying to make an exchange. Company not worth all the trouble.

Charging the $5 up front just to talk to someone seems illegal to me.

I bought a sweater beautiful sweater that unraveled and the cowel top fell off after six weeks. After two tries and pictures I got the response that they don’t take refunds after a month.

Of the six pieces I ordered almost three weeks ago, I returned two. One linen dress because it looked nothing like the photo online. The overalls were way too small. 2 petite t-shirts had a great upper fit however, the length was past my hips which looks dreadful when paired over pants or shorts. The scarf I've yet to see. So sad because the experience should have lived up to the name of the company. In the past, it was awesome.

The owner of Coldwater Creek, Soft Surrounding…. More?…seems to be a company from China. They send endless shiny catalogs still! Styles sad and quality bad. Something is off in Denmark.

This is a follow-up review. I finally received my refund from CC on the "Delight in Stripes Gauze Big Shirt" that had a seam defect (started this quest on 04/27; this is 06/11). I did receive a replacement (which I paid for in a second transaction per their policy). However THAT one, too, had another hole in a seam (the fabric is so flimsy and so poorly sewn the fabric is not being gathered into the seam). I decided to keep that and figure out some way to fix it. Too much of a hassle to return. Because of several reviews here, I wanted to make sure they returned the full amount from the first blouse. They did not -- as several have posted on Trust Pilot. The blouse cost $109.95, tax would have been $9.71 and shipping and handling, approximately $8-10. What I got was $108. I called CC. The lady I spoke with had decent English for a change. After checking she tells me I will get a full refund in 3-5 days. What is that amount, I ask. She says $9.95, which does not reconcile to my amounts. I reply that it should be more, around $19.66 depending on Shipping and Handling. She says they do not refund Shipping and Handling; that it is a company policy not to do that. My reply: "It's not a whim I returned this, this is a defect and why should I be penalized for their manufacturer's shoddy workmanship?" I tell her that is wrong and why do they do that? She says they base the fee on the full amount of the order, not individual garments. ??? She also tells me that they refund in two transactions: I have received the first -- short by $1.95 -- and then another for "the other"....I question her on what those amounts will be: the tax and the shipping? She avoids the specifics and just says, "yes." She wants to terminate this call, she just says to check within 3-5 business days. Ladies, as I said in my first review: I'm not shopping Coldwater Creek, ever. Cute clothes, cheap material, poor quality sewing, expensive, shipping takes forever, refunds are a nightmare, unreasonable return policy and I couldn't find a way to make a review on their website for this garment. Isn't that "interesting?" Ugh.

I ordered a jacket on 12/04/25 and received it 06/08/26. It took six months for my jacket to arrive, and by the time it did, I had completely forgotten about it. Unfortunately, the jacket was far too large, so I needed to return it.

I was shocked by the return costs—over $50 in unclear fees, with $9.95 for shipping. The charges were excessive and extremely frustrating.

Based on this experience, I will NEVER order from Coldwater Creek again and blocked future communications from them. I’ve also removed my personal contact information from my account as a precaution, given my overall dissatisfaction with the experience.

I order two items in early March. 1 item took weeks to receive the second item still as of June 7th it has not been received. The only answer I get is a generic “it’s on back order”. Don’t shop here it you expect it get any customer service.

I purchased a pair of Peyote Bird Cloudburst earrings from Coldwater Creek on May 1, 2026, for $87.64 (Order #12953386).

The earrings arrived damaged because they were shipped in packaging so flimsy that it provided virtually no protection. When I contacted Customer Service, I was told I would receive a full refund and could keep the damaged earrings.

However, I only received two partial refunds totaling $71.81 ($61.30 and $10.51), leaving $15.83 still outstanding.

Since then, I have contacted Customer Service twice more. Each time, I was assured that the remaining refund would be processed within five business days. Despite these repeated promises, I am still waiting for the balance of my refund.

Mistakes happen, and damaged shipments are unfortunate. What is disappointing is having to make multiple calls and repeatedly being promised a refund that never arrives. At this point, I am simply asking Coldwater Creek to honor its commitment and refund the remaining $15.83.

I have ordered a few products in the past which have been okay, but prices are ridiculous. This year, I purchased something and it has now been delayed 3x; saying it's not available until July! I will be canceling my order and refuse to return.

my order was for 3 items for a total cost of $124.63 which included taxes and shipping. I am returning all 3 items and will only be getting a total refund of $98.69. that is outrageous!! I will never order from this company again even though I have purchased many items from them in the past. I urge all customers to beware of this return scam!!!

I love their clothes but it takes MONTHS to get them (if ever). I just canceled my last order with them after waiting over 2 months and the shipping date kept moving. I will no longer be ordering from them. Sad.

I would give it minus stars if that was a choice! I will never order from them again and have spread the word. For years they have been an upstanding company and I believed that when I ordered from them I would receive my order in a timely manner. It’s a long story but basically my order didn’t ship for over 2 months. I never got any notice that my order was delayed, and when I called inquiring where my order was they told me that the shoes were back ordered but were being picked at the warehouse now. I never got any notifications from them ever. A couple of weeks later I called again and was told again that they were being picked at the warehouse and would ship in 24-72 hours. I called 3 times about this and got the same story each time. I asked to cancel the order or change the mailing address, as I was moving and the shoes now would be arriving after I moved. I was told each time that once an order is placed it’s too late to make ANY changes. So, I had to have a friend mail them to me once they arrived, 3 months later. That cost me $15 for a pair of shoes that offered free shipping! When I delved further into the company I found that they have been sold to a Chinese company and everything ships from there now. Never again!

I purchased a T-shirt online and was asked to join a rewards program. I clicked on it. I was not told that there was a monthly fee of $16.00.
Beware of this company. They trick you into subscribing to a rewards program without making it clear that you have to pay for it every month!

Coldwater Creek clothing is high quality, super comfortable, beautiful, and their return policy is super easy. I love the dress and shrug I bought!

Overall, I like the clothing. They carry pants in tall and " in a wide variety of colors and styles" which is a big plus for me. But there is an embroidered sweater that I ordered in January to wear to a wedding event in February for which I am still waiting. I was told it was on backorder and would come in May. Guess what? No sweater. Now, they tell me June 28th. What am I supposed to do? It is a matched set with a shirt that DID arrive!

Positively the worst experience in trying to actually even order the damn stuff -- the worst website I've experienced! It wouldn't let me order -- truly odd. And I say this as a person who regularly purchases stuff online. I'm just hoping the stuff finally arrives -- and just reading everyone else's experiences. I should have come here first. Ugh.

Now I know why there are no honest reviews on the website. I bought a denim jacket petite small it was anything but petite sizing not to mentioned it was incredibly heavy. on top shipping is so expensive. Plus you have to pay to return. Never AGAIN if they had honest product reviews I would have never bought it.

Increasing frustration with how they handle shipping and mostly credit card charges. As soon as you complete a credit card transaction it appears on your bill even though it may not be shipped for weeks. Then the "refunds" and "charges" beginning popping up to the extent it's difficult to keep track of the transactions.
I ordered from CC years ago and loved the quality and uniqueness of their apparel so I thought I'd try it again. Now it is an absolute gamble if you are ever going to get the items and an even worse gamble to try and figure out their billing system. Plus the hidden return charges. My advice - look elsewhere for an online apparel site.
