Very good communications before we left for Portugal and the subsequent arrangements worked very well. Hotels were comfortable and friendly, transfers worked perfectly and the walking itinerary was a superb introduction to three very different areas. The sun shone too!
Booked a holiday & friend got Covid. I can’t travel alone at 87. I understand the cost of flight is lost but we were within hotels cancellation policy. No funds are required by hotel. I paid full board. £4100. Colletts are referring to their hidden T/C & refuse any sensible discussion or settlement. Therefore Colletts will keep all monies less approximately £250 for flights. This is outrageous & I appeal to CEO Neil Robinson for common sense to prevail. Keep your commission but surely don’t grab 100% monies.
Fortune Travel - I cannot recommend this company enough! I arrived this morning in great distress because my daughter had booked a plane ticket online and not put in her full surname. Martin Young was calm, professional and extremely sympathetic. More than that he helped us sort out the problem and now I can rest assured that my daughter will not be de-boarded at her China stop off on her way to Australia. A true hero.
