I purchased a brand new Compair C76…

I purchased a brand new Compair C76 type DLT-0705, this machine has only acquired exactly 273 hours in 3 years, which is no work for this machine. It suffered a major malfunction which has now been diagnosed from an engineer as a design flaw. This is a large engine and screw machine for which the mounting bolts connected to the screw end are 8mm, made of mild steel and are inserted exactly 11mm into the screw casing. These 2 bolts are not strong enough to withstand the weight or movement of my engine as a result they have sheered off, the air filter casing has landed on the air regulator valve, which in turn has broken the heat shield bracket and also as the rear of the machine has dropped it has tilted the fan blades back which has caught the cowl and the fan guard, smashing the blades and guard. I have contacted Compair directly and had 1 reply from a sales manager advising me that they had passed the details onto an engineer at their German factory. I have contacted him on numerous occasions to no avail which makes me feel insignificant due to the fact that they do not want to be seen to have a bad reputation. I still have photographic evidence and the bolts to back this review. Please purchase from them with care.
