MS Surface power adaptor replaced with no problems
Needed a new power adaptor for my MS Surface. Got one from Computaplace but noticed that the magnetic connector was getting very hot - to the point that it melted some of the sheathing. Went back to Computaplace and they replaced it with no questions. They even managed to get me another one by the next day which was a Saturday. Very helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.
I had a problem with my iMac
I had a problem with my iMac. Took it to apple and the said the memory board needed replacing and owuld cost about £600. I spoke to Martin at Computaplace and booked in a time for him to have a look. Turns out that wasn't the problem at all and was just files from an update that were in the wrong place. Fixed within 2 days and I had a fully working computer again without the huge bill. Without question would go back!

Called in to Computaplace to ask if they repaired Apple Macs. Martin replaced Hard Drive with new SSD over New Years Eve/Day keeping me informed. MAC now superfast.
Excellent service over a holiday period.
Thank you Martin.

I recently thought about replacing my old very slow computer.
Martin suggested upgrading the ram and installing a solid state drive.

I have been using Digiserv in Holbury…
I have been using Digiserv in Holbury for a number of years and would thoroughly recommend them for all matters associated with computers. They are prompt, polite and their charges are always extremely reasonable. But most of all thier technical expertise in solving problems is quite amazing whether it is a laptop, ipad, PC or a sophisticated office set-up. For myself, and having used other so called experts in the past, I would now always use Digiserv for all my technical requirements.

Had Hard drive repaired and lost all my photos and all photos from April to August 8th, not prepared to help recover them, rude and aggressive
After doing a windows 10 update this week, I turned my desktop on the next morning and was faced with the black wall of death and a notification that the personal settings had failed. Using a laptop I tried everything that I found on google with no luck. My desktop is used for my business and for a charity I help with. As I am due to run an online auction starting 10th September I had over the last few days taken a lot of photos that had been cropped etc. I phoned Computaplace in Holbury. I explained the problem and was told it was a drive error and they would take a look. The last back up set was made on 8th August so I said could they back up the documents and photos as soon as possible before removing anything. I am housebound so my daughter dropped it off, he phoned shortly after to tell me what they were going to do. My desktop came back the next day, fixed and much faster. The man in the shop told my daughter when she collected it, that they created a new identity and moved everything to that identity and removed my identity. The files looked correct until I looked closer - the most recent document was April 2018, I knew that I saved several documents a few days before the update and had reopened and emailed it the day before the update, these were among the missing documents. My pictures file had contained over 5000 photos, it was empty! I phoned Computaplace, established who I was and asked where he had put the back up, so I could restore as all my photos were missing. He aggressively said that there were no photos on my computer. I replied that I knew that they were all there the day before and that I needed them for the auction, so did he have where he backed them up to. He said he hadn't backed anything up just created a new identity and moved everything. He hadn't done the one thing that I had specifically asked him to do. He became very aggressive, shouting 'here we go making out that there is a problem' He continued to rant about a younger assistant (who I know the name of but I can't name here because Computaplace tried to get my review removed by any means possible). He made no suggestion or offer to fix it. I couldn't get a word in with him shouting at me, he already knew that I cannot easily talk, it is painful due to a neuro condition, so eventually hung up. I have spent the last day copying photo folders and files from onedrive back to their correct files on my PC and reinstalling everything else that was removed. The photos he said were not in the picture file were in the picture file on onedrive. I have yet to sort the two versions of the documents file. He made it very clear that he did not wish to discuss it and just shouted nonsense loudly so that could not get a word in Yes he fixed the drive error and I was happy at the price for that but feel that I have to warm people about his attitude, failings and lack of interest in putting it right. He still hasn't contacted me to arrange repair. The website doesn't have anywhere to give a review but I will leave these comments on Trustpilot.
Outstanding and highly professional
Outstanding and highly professional. I work in the Security Sector and discretion and confidentiality are prerequisites to operational efficiency.
The Computaplace person assigned to my tasking demonstrated obvious expertise and took both my professional security and personal privacy seriously.
The service delivered was hard disk data transfer, installation of a virus protection solution, mail merge and machine optimisation, vastly improving my machine speed and performance.
I would not hesitate to recommend Computaplace to anyone and in particular to the self-employed or SME.

Excellent customer service always on hand with help and advice on my computer issues and great prices
Good price and quality thanks
Excellent Service provided by the Team!
The staff at Digiserv including Martin are very friendly, spent ages with me on the phone, in person and also on Social media to help me with my various computer issues / Q and some performance issues I was having with an ageing laptop. Martin has rescued some of my lost files, tuned up my devices so that they boot up, access faster and helped me to back my precious work to File and to the cloud.
Also he has advised me on Web domains and files sharing stuff which I am a beginner with so I can create web sites not only for me but also for my clients.
I recommend him personally and his company
Fantastic service.
Great and trustworthy company
Great and trustworthy company. A*****
Great service, once again - many thanks.
Several times this year, Martin has resurrected a variety of computers for me; always with good humour and expertise, and very modest cost. No hesitation in recommending him.
