No sanitary bin provided for safe disposal of period products. Staff who menstruate/ clients who require safe and hygienic disposal of period products are unable to do so. This is a very basic adjustment for people who menstruate that this company funnily enough say they celebrate International Women's Day so proudly all over their social media. Laughable.

I recently received exemplary service at this location from a remarkable young woman named Sacha Richardson. Her people skills and her exceptional service deserve recognition.  
I recently purchased a pair of Lindberg glasses from her, Sacha was working in the Tynemouth branch in April when I had my annual eye test done but I understand she’s now working in the Byker clinic (although she did meet me in Tynemouth on Saturday 8th July to hand over my new glasses.)  I do have very high expectations of the level of service, having been in the service industry myself for a number of years. Sacha greatly exceeded my expectations. I feel such a level of service should not only be acknowledged but rewarded. 
Without her help, this purchase would NOT have been possible. She is a real gem.

Overall I was very happy with the service and especially the optometrist. Especially given we are in the Covid environ. The only two negatives are 1) I did not get the glasses I originally chose and paid for on the day (I was told a couple of days later) - disappointing because it took a while to choose them; and 2) no follow up to see if glasses need adjusting etc. Otherwise happy.
