Waiting for passengers who are late for 2 hours on the plane, trying to charge €4 for a 330ml water. Absolutely worse airline ever.
I’m really shocked because I paid 50€ extra for an overhead bin, then at the airport they informed me that’s just the price to reserve the bin, not bring the carry-on. They charged 100€. I... See more

Abselute joke!
The Service was freaking Bad
The Service was freaking Bad. Staff was super super unfriendly and unmotiviert. 11 hours flight, always delayed and at least two times drinks were offered in 11 hours!! That’s so bad worst airline ever. The most thing is to mention that they close the check in counter often earlier so you couldn’t get on the flight. Two flights, each had above 2 hours delay, both flights had to get a new tire, that was the reason for their delay. On each flights there was not even any soap in the restrooms. They put in one water to make you believe you’re sanitizing your hands, that’s so mad !!
No check in without seat payment, pay for hand luggage and on top for a space for hand luggage
The company doesn’t allow check in without paying additionally for the seat. When you pay for hand luggage, you will need to pay on top to reserve a space for your hand luggage.
Catastrophic customer service
That is related to my flight from PMI to HAM airport. I have booked two hand luggage in advance for each adult and for each flight.
Despite booking and paying in advance ''Condor' system did not recognize our hand luggage and we end up paying 75 EUR extra since our hand luggage considered as check in luggage.
When we tried to reach customer service via phone on incident date they did not get the call in 20 minutes on phone and when we do our claim they reject it and it took almost 3 weeks.
Please avoid this airline.
We booked the flight through Condor and…
We booked the flight through Condor and flew with Marabo, everything went well, the app from Condor is to no use, not easy software,
The app don't show updates on anything.
I would probably avoid this company next time.
Besides the lost luggage...
Besides the lost luggage they don't seem to care much about, I have very serious doubts about their pilots! I have been around the world several times and never experienced a rough TAKE OFF. Bad landings quite a lot but never a take off. Don't pay for the economy up grade. There was zero upgraded. They take NO responsibility for lost luggage and could care less. It's always another companies fault. Avoid no matter the cost.
Non-existent customer service!
I had an average flight with Condor from Germany to Cuba in March 23. The flight back was a total desaster! Not only that Condor gave the flight to an Austrian company, the yactually used a plane that normally flies from Austria or/and Germany to Mallorca/Spain. So it was a (fully booked) plane not made for long distance flights clearly. Several flight attendants confirmed my suspicion on the flight home.
But not enough with that horrible experience. Approx. 1 year after I had that experience I received a demand for an extra fee of more than 200,- € canceling fees, which were not justified. Not that Condor asked and warned me about it in several Emails or letters, nope. They ordered a DEPT COLLECTION COMPANY to get the none justified money from me!
Naive as I was, I offered them a possibility to make it up to me despite that there was not even an apology for their behavior and miserable service. So I wrote them that I would like to make holidays again in Cuba and would need a flight again. Expecting reduced flight or maybe a gratis upgrade to business class I received an offer today with a normal price for a flight, more or less copied as I did in 23, details included. No reduction what so ever, no upgrade, STILL no apology and when I called to ask for that optional reservation I had a quite useless customer service agent on the phone who not only spoke barely German but didn't even understand my questions and asked me for information that I already gave over and over again.
Next time they try to convince me the yhave to offer me a free ride and make it comfortable too, if not - NEVER AGAIN with Condor, nowhere!
Condor Busines is NOT a business
Condor Busines is NOT a business
Paid over 5000 eur for flight from Germany to Canada.
as Portugal advanced to the QF, called to ask if I can change departure day to a later day and wasw assured YES! Called in a few hours to reconfim the changes and they took it off, telling us our business class only allowed changed earlier that 24h before the flight.
Their staff is irresponsible. They do not listen to what you are up to and do not tell you about the details.
AVOID.
The worst traveling experience ever
The worst traveling experience ever. They didn’t use to be like this as I flew with them in the past, but it seems that this is not the case anymore. Don’t book with them - trust me they have so many hidden ways to charge you that at the end you end up paying more.
I payed for a premium economy seat and…
I payed for a premium economy seat and a priority onboarding. At the Frankfurt airport we went to the plane with a bus, so why the company communicates and worst charges for a priority onboarding if this is not happening?
Pleasantly surprised, BUT..............
So I took my chances and flew Condor last month, returning June 1. We had premium economy both ways. I have to say, I was worried with all the bad reviews, but it was pretty great, other than a few items.
1-Yes the website is crap. I uploaded all my documents when I booked, back in Jan, but I still had to re-do it 24hrs prior, when I checked in online and the app wouldn't let me...I had to use a computer.
2-Boarding groups are a joke. We were in group 2, as we were in premium economy. but it's just a free-for-all at boarding.
3-Frankfurt airport is a joke as well....had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal when we arrived and take one from the terminal to the plane on the return. For the return flight, the Condor counters are wayyyy downstairs, like a red-headed step-child.
4-One of the flight attendants on the outbound was quite stern about using the forward lavatory, as we were in prem econ....but I could use the one behind me...which ended up being better because it's a bigger lav....so that was fine. The prem lav was right behind business class, but she was just rude about it....
So we flew from Arizona, to Seattle, then Condor to Frankfurt. For the return, it was non-stop from Frankfurt to Phoenix....11.5 hrs. LONG flight.
We flew Alaska to Seattle, and when I checked in with AS, it gave me boarding passes for all the flights (more on that in a bit)
Once we got the the gate in SEA, I heard an announcement saying if we had boarding passes issued by another carrier, or printed from online, we needed to go to the counter to show our passports and get a paper boarding pass. THIS IS IMPERATIVE! They will not let you on, if they haven't given you a paper boarding pass. * If you checked in with Condor at the ticket counter, prior to security, you don't need to do anything else.*
I also saw scales at the gate, so don't try to get away with heavy....they will make you check it. I was warried, as I was tad over the weight, but I was also in premium, so they didn't weigh ours. If your carry-ons look massive, they will weigh them....so make sure your stuff doesn't look huge.
The flight over was uneventful. Food was good, seat wasn't too bad. (United Premium Plus seats are better)...in flight entertainment was decent. A couple of new releases, like Oppenheimer and Barbie, were just a couple of the new ones.
We had dinner, then ice cream, then breakfast before arriving in FRA.
The return was long and we checked our bags for this flight. I was way over the carry-on weight and didn't care if my bags got delayed when I got home. I'm happy to say that they arrived with no issues. They did have 'priority' tags on them, but they didn't come out first. no biggie
We had dinner, Ice cream and a hot snack before landing in PHX. I slept maybe an hour....I just could not get comfortable in my seat. Our male flight attendant was lovely. He was nice and precise and friendly.
I will say that at Frankfurt, I had no idea we would have to go thru immigration before getting on the plane to PHX. We flew into FRA from Rome and when we started walking towards our gate for Condor, there was a huge line to show passports to even get to the gate. Luckily the line went super fast and we weren't delayed at all. So keep that in mind. If you're traveling back to the US and have a connection in FRA, you'll need to stand in line and show your US passport, so allow time for that.
So out of 10 stars, I'd give Condor a solid 8. Their website is really lame, so they need to work on that. Next time I want to try the business class.....
I'm not sure how the reviews are so awful. I agree with the app and website, but I really didn't have any issues. the seats I paid for when I booked, were all there and never changed.
I did have a schedule change issue that I called them about and was told it would take a couple days to fix.....which is complete BS, as I'm a travel agent and do schedule changes all day long and they take about 3minutes....so once I escalated to a supervisor...it was taken care of right away. I just think their agents aren't trained very well.
So I think it's fine. The price was good, which is why I chose them. Other carriers were way more expensive for premium economy.
Worst Airline Experience - Worst Staff
Flight: DE2117(male staff , I don't know his name) and DE2114 (Thomas Schneider)
I am absolutely furious and disgusted with the terrible treatment I received from Condor Airlines staff on my flights to Germany and back. The staff behaved in a very rude, abusive, and unprofessional way that no airline should allow.
On my flight from Mexico to Germany (Frankfurt, DE2117), a male staff member physically attacked me for no reason. I had simply laid down on some empty seats to rest, and this staff member came over, violently grabbed and shook my shoulders. He then started yelling at me in German, which I do not understand. He acted so aggressively that he almost punched me in the nose. When I told him his behavior of touching me, yelling, and trying to harm me was unacceptable, he only got more aggressive. He panicked and yelled more, gathering other staff to publicly embarrass me further in German.
Only after this assault did another staff explain those seats were for the crew. If that was a problem, the right way to handle it was to politely tell me, not physically attack me without warning. The rude male staff had no right to put his hands on me or yell in a language I could not understand.
The mistreatment continued on my flight back to Mexico (Frankfurt to Cancun, DE2114). When I reclined my seat, which I am allowed to do, the passenger behind me started yelling at me in German and violently kicking the back of my seat repeatedly. My back was already hurt, but he kept hitting me over and over. I asked the flight attendant Thomas Schneider for help, but he rudely refused, saying "This is not kindergarten. I'm not getting involved." and I looked too "comfortable" in my reclined seat, implying I should not recline it. Later, he announced spitefully that they had to move "THE GENTLEMAN" to a better seat, mocking me.
Shockingly, Schneider's unruly behavior continued by purposely kicking me as he walked by while I was seated in the aisle seat. He pushed me and threw a box directly at me, while my elderly grandmother was traveling with me. When I asked him to please speak English since I don't understand German, he rudely replied "So? You are traveling on a German airline."
I am appalled by the rude, entitled behavior and lack of courtesy from the male staff. Physically attacking, yelling at, and mocking passengers in a language they don't understand is unacceptable. Throwing objects at customers and family members is an assault. This is not how the hospitality industry should ever treat paying customers. I will never fly Condor Airlines again after this nightmare experience.
I reached out to the airlines- no response as of now!
Condor Business Class
Condor Business Class
Attention, read carefully if you are thinking of flying Condor business class! If you are generally used to flying business class and have decided to fly business with Condor - don't do it!
My flight lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes. In the dedicated business class section after row 6, they sold economy tickets and there were 3 people per row. Rows 7 and 8. Generally, rows 1 to 6 were extremely cramped. Worse than some low-cost airlines.
Non-alcoholic beverages were served from large bottles, and the alcohol in single doses (0.05L bottles) was opened by the flight attendants, who poured half into a plastic cup and gave the other half to other passengers.
The food could not be chosen. You had to choose it online beforehand! Truly shameful and irritating. I ate the default menu.
The flight attendant noticed this and after I ate, she asked if it was good. I explained some things already written above (seats, drinks, food) and she told me this is normal for a medium-length flight! A disgrace! (Milan - Frankfurt flight in business with Lufthansa that lasts 50 minutes and the business service is light years ahead)
The business class bathroom was not working and passengers were sent to the other bathrooms at the back of the plane.
Condor just takes money from customers for business class and the service is terrible!
In conclusion - DO NOT fly with Condor in business class. The experience is worth 0 and the money is not justified.
DO NOT FLY WITH CONDOR
Booked on a flight and paid for seats ended up being sat at the very back of the plane with the least amount of legroom and no help from anyone about why also never got refunded for the seats we originally paid for on the flight home something happened where we had to stay so I tried to get my flight rebooked long before the last 24 hour mark between emails phonecalls WhatsApp and the website it was impossible to rebook the flight even tho that’s what I was told to do and pay the difference ended up having to pay for new flights I’ve been trying two weeks to get refunded and pay the extra difference where as I’m getting 1 reply every 3 days worst experience I’ve ever had with an airline and I would not recommend to anyone Also I’ve been in contact with condor 19 days so far and each reply I’ve had to wait about 3 days for to which twice they have sent me a complaint link which dosent work it just takes me to an error page told me there’s no chance of getting reimbursed for my flight even tho it was there problems caused me to not be able to rebook service awful flight awful the way I was treated awful I have not one good thing to say about it then also the flight home that I had to pay for a second time had 3 different delays between information take off and how long to sit on the runway which no compensation was mentioned for either
BE AWARE
BE AWARE: if you book business class that has a connecting flight you will only be in business for part of the trip. You will pay 100% of the business class fare and only travel half of it in business. Nor will you have access to the lounge in your connecting airport. A total ripoff
My most challenging experience was with…
My most challenging experience was with Condor Airlines. The situation arose when I had excess weight in some of my bags. I adjusted them to exactly 23 kg each, except for the first bag, which they claimed was 5 kg over the limit. However, the first bag was mistakenly sent to the plane with the extra weight. I requested the manager to review the total weight, as I was willing to have one of the bags at 18 kg. However, she insisted that each bag must be 23 kg and became increasingly difficult when I questioned the discrepancy. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue amicably, the manager's demeanor was unprofessional and disrespectful.
I was forced to pay a fee of €100, even though the mistake was on their end. The manager's attitude towards me was condescending and uncalled for, making me feel like I was being treated unfairly. Despite my efforts to address the situation calmly, the manager's behavior only escalated, causing unnecessary stress and frustration. The lack of respect and professionalism displayed by the manager was disappointing, especially in a customer service role.
Despite this negative experience, I must commend the flight crew for their professionalism and pleasant demeanor throughout the flight. However, the unpleasant encounter with the manager overshadowed any positive aspects of my journey with Condor Airlines. Overall, this experience has left a lasting impression on me, and I will not be choosing this airline for future travels.
I bought plane tickets and there was…
I bought plane tickets and there was some problem with payment from their side. No money no tickets!!! Trying to get in touch with them- but they just don’t answer! Total scam!
Thank you
In April 2024, it was my first experience with Condor Airlines. I would to thank, one more time, the crew, both ways, was excellent. Their manners, and their hospitality felt like home. And the food was excellent, too. From now on, even that I don't have a direct destination with your airlines, I will choose it just because of the great experience. Thank you.
Excellent Service
We flew from San Fran to Frankfurt and having read these reviews were surprised at the negativity so can only imagine alot has changed. The plane was new, clean and spacious. The service from the staff was some of the best we had experienced in many years. We fly internationally often and as many airlines standards seemed to have slipped post covid, this airline has upped its game
Condor - Confusing Rules, Extra Charges, and a Lot of Hassle
We booked a five-day vacation to Tenerife, including 20 kg of checked baggage and a standard carry-on per person through our regular travel agency. Condor's confusing app information led us to call the Condor customer service to confirm their baggage policies. They insisted we book two additional 8 kg carry-ons, which we did and paid. We carefully packed an official Samsonite carry-on that met Condor's stated dimensions and a small backpack and the check-in suitcase.
At Düsseldorf, the check-in agent wrongly claimed our official Samsonite carry-on was oversized and urged us to book extra checked luggage for the return flight to avoid additional fees. We reluctantly contacted Condor's customer service while on vacation to sort out the confusion, but they assured us our baggage was indeed within their limits and no extra booking was needed. The agent even advised us to contact our travel agency to make a note of this in the Condor system. We did so but the travel agency informed us they did not have access to Condor systems which makes sense. Just to be safe from any issues flying home, we paid €125 to Condor for 30 kg of extra checked luggage. After which we contacted Condor support again where they reassured us everything was booked and we were now allowed to carry two carry-ons and max 3 check-in luggage (max weight per piece 32 kg).
At the airport for our return flight, Condor staff aggressively charged every party of passengers in front of us in line for excess baggage. Our 23.5 kg checked suitcase, well within the 32 kg per piece and total 50 kg limit paid check-in luggage was also flagged as overweight. Despite having two small carry-on bags and 20 kg less than our 50 kg allowance, the agent tried to demand extra fees. When challenged, she threatened to deny boarding until a supervisor intervened and acknowledged we had complied.
Condor's incompetence, contradictory information, and aggressive fees turned our vacation into a stressful ordeal. Avoid Condor if you value your time, money and sanity.
