Do not use this company to move your goods. Moved from Australia to NZ. They came to collect our goods and ran out of room on the truck and then we had a delay of a week for a second truck to collect remaining items and charged us again for that pick up. Then once all items reached Melbourne they charged us again as they said they hadn’t charged us correctly for the volume of furniture. Not much you can do when all of your furniture is sitting in Melbourne and you’re leaving the country. So we had to pay!
Then the disappointment continues when you unpack your furniture and boxes and things are broken and furniture is all dented, scuffed and marked. They accept no responsibility and basically said we could have done it! Love that one! We paid alot of money for our furniture and it was less than 4 years old. Now it’s ruined.
DO NOT USE THEM, they are not honest people.

For what seemed like a really overwhelming job for myself, Conroy Removals made it really easy and seamless. I asked about 40 questions before I even booked with them but nothing seemed too much. Even right down to me changing the delivery address while the container was in transit - nothing seemed too hard and I was never met with any hesitations and/or pushbacks. There was lots of communication throughout the whole process. From the admin team to the removalists and the NZ office staff, its all been great. So happy and would absolutely recommend to anyone to use their services!

I had a very good experience with Conroy. The team that collected my household goods from an apartment in Auckland were polite, friendly and capable. My goods were stored by Conroy in Napier for over a year, then delivered to my new address. There were no problems at all.

Majority of large items arrived damaged, fabric items had black mark stains from moving and an item was dropped when unloading.

Our move was a personal stress for my partner and I following some serious surgery in Tauranga the week before and the fact that we were not as prepared as we should have been, arriving home the night before the move. The Conroys team were truly wonderful; they were mindful, patient , kind and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they took all of the pressure and stress away. Moving our baby grand piano, plants and large pieces of antique furniture without a hitch, they simply worked until everything was done. We could not be happier and our sincere thank you to David Conroy for always having the best team for the job. Nathan, Brooke and our wonderful team on the truck, you guys rock!!! The team collecting in Hastings excelled throughout the day and we thought it wouldn’t be possible for a different team in Christchurch to match the level of attention to detail and energy but they did!!! What a privilege to have such awesome individuals helping with a move across the country. Please use Conroys for your next move; we wouldn't use anybody else. Highly recommended!!

Booked Conroy Movers late in the year for a January cross-country move and they were outstanding. Super responsive, excellent communication, and very flexible with last-minute changes. The admin side was seamless, and the two movers were fast, friendly, and efficient. Delivery in Auckland was just as smooth. Can’t rate these guys highly enough!

The expertise and experience of Geoff and Elise who came to pack eased our anxiety as this our first time moving after 25 years.
Next day Drew managed the moving out with skill. They moved all house contents plus approx 60 plants in pots ranging in size from 5 litres up to 150 litres!
Finally the move into our new home, two storied like our old one, was efficiently done in a morning

Pickup and delivery was done by the most amazing and accommodating people. Darryn H, Antoine, Ben R and Seth.
They were early on both occasions and made the shift seem less stressful than it was. We have used Conroy's for all our moves and have never been disappointed

Excellent service in all areas from pick up in Auckland to storage in Napier. This included retrieving a few boxes and then final delivery 5 months later. Office staff and delivery crew all excellent.
Excellent pricing also.

Thanks Conroy removals you guys are so super efficient and the service was great. Would absolutely recommend. All our furniture was packed well onto the truck and all as it was when it come back out .

Great communication throughout from Brooke and Sarah, and prompt responses to my many questions and date changes we experienced during our move. We packed and wrapped our items ourselves as we were moving from the Chatham Islands, and Conroy Removals had to do the uplifting from Napier Port, transfer to to their truck and transport down to Wellington.
We had no damage whatsoever and cheers to the pleasant moving guys who had to carry our many items up 40 stairs! Friendly and excellent service! Hope you enjoyed a couple of cold ones after that!

The two lovely Conroy ladies came in like a ray of sunshine. Nothing was an issue and they made the move for me stress free. Their great team work and communication skills made the very hard work they do look so efficient and effortless even on one of the hottest days we had. Their great work ethic all was on show when the charming boys came with the truck. The coordination involved was amazing and I think they were champions. They showed me kindness, patience and care which has made this huge move for me less painful. Also I must give thanks to Conroys from the very first contact to all of the communication updates etc. Looking forward to the day when I can have everything delivered once a home is purchased

Cullum, Oscar and Hopa were amazing. So calm, helpful, polite, cheerful. They were amazing. I was so stressed with same day settlement and they did everything they could to make things go as smooth as possible. So grateful I chose Conroys. Thanks so much!

They couldn't confirm the start time till the day before, bit stressful with moving house. But able to get started early (8am). The two movers were amazing so efficient and friendly. Only charged for the moving time not in between (waiting for settlement). Great team, great service. Would recommend to anyone.

I had originally made a booking (months in advance) for a specific pickup date in the morning in Palmerston North.
I received a text 2 days prior advising me it would now be an afternoon pickup.
I phoned the number asking for a more specific time (as I had an inter-islander ferry to catch) and was told "mid to late afternoon".
No one contacted me the day of pickup and every time I phoned the number there was no answer.
After many calls to different Conroy offices, I was finally given the Operations Manager's number who sent a special truck to collect my possessions at 6.30pm.
This was done after he sensed my immense frustration!
Thankfully, the delivery process at the other end went far more smoothly and the Nelson branch were professional, on time, easy to contact and very helpful.

Communication was very good and the truck turned up on time. Overall the move went smoothly. Packing and bubble wrapping was done ourselves but we transferred most of the breakable crockery and glassware ourselves to avoid any breakages by the movers. Only one item taken by Conroy, which was very heavy, had a chip on the corner. I noticed the youngest (most inexperienced) of the team was sometimes trying to carry too much or go too fast, and the top box toppled over. Luckily nothing breakable was in it.
