Booked a 5 seater from Durham Rail Station. Paid. They then sent 2 Taxi's as they don't have a 5/6 seater ! Charged £5 more for the 2nd Taxi than the 1st.
Driver was good.

I was sexually assaulted by one of the drivers in January the police did nothing and I suffer from severe PTSD since the incident

Really disappointing service. Booked a taxi to take myself and my husband from Delves(greenways) to Consett, for 7.10 pm last night (Sunday) , where we had a table booked for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.At 20 past the taxi had not arrived so we telephoned and were told the driver had just made a drop off and would be a couple of minutes. Ok. At 7.30 still no taxi. We rang again, only to be told he was on his way he would be just a minute. At 7.39 having stood out in the cold for 15 minutes, we cancelled the taxi and drove our own car. It meant we could not have much to drink but could not be helped. At 7.40 , half an hour after having the taxi booked, we received a text to say the driver was on his way. Far, far too late. In future we will try and find another more reliable company. I know these things can happen, probably following the football, but just communicate. If you are going to be late let the fare know. Saves a lot of bad feeling in the long run.

Why people are using them instead of better and cheaper companie is mind blowing.

I took a car from Stanley to Framwellgate Moor last week - a 7 mile/15 minute journey. I thought the driver quoted £25 (an Uber on the way up cost me £18) but on arrival it turned out it was £35. I challenged the fare as being too high, and the office increased it £37! I wonder if this is company policy to up the fare if it's challenged?

Just a warning to all customers if you pay for your journey by card check your bank statements for overcharged journeys ask price before paying and check your account plus had shopping going missing plus a tip from me Jacksons drivers have a £5 limit in consett which is part of consett cars does the same service cheaper and better I just can’t understand why they charge different prices for the same journey depending on drivers
