The worst customer service experience!!!!!!

The agents had no idea about the product. After numerous phone calls and online chats, all I got was " Here is your ticket number and someone from tech support will reach out in 2 days". They didn't ask for details as to what the issues were. I don't expect to hear back from Corel. I don't know how Corel can call this "customer support" when they don't intend to help anyone.

Worst customer service I have ever…

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Forget getting support for your software issues. A very simple task takes them 6 days to sort out. It took 5 agents, countless emails and complaints to send me a simple download link for a product I paid for. What a joke, you also deal with Indians who don't speak English properly. Don't bother buying from this company.

I have used previous versions of Corel…

I have used previous versions of Corel and been very happy but recently purchased Corel draw essentials as i no longer need the full version.Bad MISTAKE ....This is the most awful software i have purchased. it has so few options even to just print in a format someone else could open. And for £115 this is ridiculous when I can download safe legal FREE software with BETTER OPTIONS. i HAVE UNINSTALLED THIS TERRIBLE SOFTWARE AFTER ONE WEEK. That's how bad it is. An absolute waste of £115.........DON'T MAKE THESAME MISTAKE.

AVOID COREL AT ALL COSTS

Support is non existent, the 30 day money back guarantee is a lie, this company basically stole $115 (the software I bought DOES NOT WORK) from me and there's no actions I can take. DO NOT USE ANY SOFTWARE BY COREL OR COREL ASSOCIATED COMPANIES.

Corel takes the payment but no download link

Long time Corel user, but their support is non-existent. Nobody answers the phone, replies to emails, or monitors the live chat requests.
I paid for an add-on to my Pinnacle 24 and they processed my payment but never provided the download link in a separate email. Its been over 5 days now!
My only recourse now is to contact my credit card provider and attempt to reverse the charge. Be aware!

Follow up: to be fair and honest, My case got upgraded to a dept that provided me a download link after 7 days and even credited my account. I thanked the agent who was very kind and helpful. Its just a shame that it took that long to resolve at the initial customer support level.

DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!
I bought Pinnacles Studio from Corel in April 22. Nearly 4 months later it's still not working properly! Every time I contact support - always somewhere in the sub continent - they have insufficient grasp of English and how to solve the problems. I have TWO issues, one to do with the EXPORT screen which does not have the layout it's supposed to have. Support is USELESS. They keep suggesting the same old solutions which never work and when you complain about that repetition they send the same 'solutions' which never work! Round and round and round! Today, the final horrendous email advising me to ensure that the connection between adapter and computer is good! Infuriating! The connection has always been good - that is not y issue!! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS

Product and customer support are a joke

Customer support is a joke. The product is a joke. I have had issues since the day after initial installation, took a month for tech support to get back to me, still no resolution as of today, seven months later. Have put in multiple tickets, NO ONE CAN FIX THE PROGRAM. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable product DON'T USE COREL!

Its no surprise that Corel has a 92% negative rating.

Its no surprise that Corel has a 92% negative rating. Their products don't work. ... You pay your money and it doesn't work. You call for assistance and are connected to someone in India. They claim a technician in Texas will contact you by email. What a joke. It simply doesn't work.

Horrible customer service

I ordered 5 licenses of Corel Draw. I only received one serial number. When we tried to install it on one machine and got an error that says that serial number has been used. It was our first installation!!! And to make matters worse, no one is returning our inquiry. Absolutely unacceptable. Your customer service is horrible. No one answers the phone then when they do they create a ticket that never gets answered. I am not at all happy. I hav been using Corel Draw since version 1 and you’re service is as horrible as ever.

Milking a dead cow

Company that destroys business by own hands. Losing great teams and developers because of CEOs mindset. One who doesn't care about people will never have good products and support, what they care: money and that's it.

Keep away at all cost

I'm so disappointed with everything that has to do with this company and its products. I have never had a good experience of Corel, never. They gladly take you money and then you are on your own. Adobe might be a bit greedy too but at least they care about the customers. I don't know about the Corel corporation culture, but I can imagine it to be extremely toxic.

Fraudulent Practices

Starting in 2021 after reinstalling to a newly built PC, Corel began using the "submitted maximum number of times for activation" scenario in order to entice one to purchase newer software. The purchased software Corel will no longer activate:

purchased 2012-04-30 - WordPerfect Office X6

purchased 2018-09-28 - WinDVD Pro 12, DVD Xpack, DVD + AVCHD Xpack, Ultimate Xpack

purchased 2021-04-15 - PaintIt

Each time before reinstalling I always followed the procedures listed by Corel on reinstalling to a new system. I always uninstalled from the older PC first to free up my license. But now, Corel just wants one to purchase newer software and that is what they push if you happen to actually get in touch with someone. I filed inquiries but Corel has not responded even though they acknowledged receipt of the inquiry.

I believe it is time for legal standards to be placed on software companies wherein they must indicate if the software has a set number of activations and if it has an expiration date. This is critical even when you follow the guidelines set forth by the company itself to move the license.

Why would I purchase new software from a company that doesn't support the software they already sold me?

2022.04.13 Update - After 14 days and several messages to Corel, the company finally responded and resolved the issue with the WordPerfect Suite X6. I am still awaiting resolution of the WinDVD Pro 12 plugins.

Purchased a product online that I should have had access to once payment was processed (30 mins).
It's been 5 days and I still can't download my product.

Have emailed support but due to the time difference, it is taking 24 hours to get a response. Even though I gave a full detailed description of my error they wanted a screen capture of the error. It's been over 24 hours since I sent and I've still had no reply.

Now I just want my money back.

The worst customer service I've ever come across

I would give no stars at all if I could!!
I've had the Corel adverts locking my PC for nearly 12 months, I've contacted their phone help line and was told it would be resolved in 24 hours and I would receive a phone call from a level 2 tech to confirm this, this never happened. I've written in so many times they keep canceling the refernce number and ask me to respond the the first one only, thats great but they never reply.
I finally wrote a recorded delivery letter to the CEO and wrote a number of emails to their senior managers, again no responce, my final act was to pay someone to remove the Corel sofware and wipe my hard drive just to stop the software locking my PC.
I think this must be the worst customer services I've ever come across and they lie to their customers.

Corel support a fake?

Have used Corel Draw for the past 20 years (or more) but now it's time to move on. Corel Draw Suit is a fantastic program but if something goes wrong you are completely alone because their support is a joke.
Not even their livechat works because 50% of the time you get no contact. If you get it, they can not help you but are happy to start a support case (ticket) 2 times out of 10, this case has been answered at first and then ended with a survey about how satisfied I was with their help and if the problem was remedied.
???? Despite your answer that the problem persisted, no further support or feedback was given.
The conclusion from personal experience and what you can read if you search on Google is that Corel's support has suffered from a meltdown beyond any possibility of reconstruction.
Will be my last year with Corel, the program is good but the support is fake.
