Disgusting customer service!

Disgusting customer service!
First they failed to deliver my item, saying I wasn’t home even though I work from home and they never came and now they won’t refund the product that they never delivered!!! I have had bad customer service experience but this one is the worst! It’s been over a month and I have spoken to four different persons without any result.
And Costco, don’t reply saying to reach directly, this is what I have done and nothing came from it. Just stop selling online, you unreliable and untrustworthy!

I can't believe how idiot the…

I can't believe how idiot the costco.co.uk works. So I check trustpilot and not surprisingly seeing only 1.7. Why costco sets up online to make its customers suffer? Try to set up online account but failed. Even buy a new membership and still not working. What on earth costco.co.uk exists for?

Good stock rubbish help.

The general items that costco have are great, prices are slightly expensive, there are never enough staff on the shop floor, you can't get through to anyone by phone and the customer service is awful, noone in store or over online chat is willing to help.

Simon and Jacob at Leeds store

Simon and Jacob at Leeds really went out of their way to fit us in when the previous guy had arranged our appointment for the wrong day. Turned up and they could have refused the job but instead they really pushed to get the two wheels swapped before closing and just before Christmas too! Would highly recommend Leeds and a huge thank u to both Simon and Jacob! Really appreciate you both getting the job done

Great service and quality products

Great service. I have a Costco just down the road so it's very convenient. Whilst the membership fees are a bit pricey for a small business the general quality of their product is very good and their after sales in store excellent. Just purchased some mats. Ordered on 22nd before Xmas with 6 working day delivery but they were efficiently delivered by Royal Mail on the 24th with excellent tracking updates. The mats were on special and a great price. I have also bought a number of TVs in store from Costco. We had one for 4 plus years when it developed an issue. I spoke to their after sales based in the USA who sent out an engineer but the intermittent issue persisted. Without any urging or prolonged complaining Costco had me return to the TV to the store and provided a full refund. I also buy my diesel from their fuel station always close to 10p a litre cheaper and premium fuel too. 👍To Costco

DAMAGED GOODS DELIVERED

Bought a number of hampers from Costco online.
They turned up damaged inside and out and bird bird poo on the boxes.
Contacted Costco's and they didn't really seem to be that bothered about it. The hamper suppliers (Todhunter) done all the contact with me. They were great and replaced ALL the hampers, plus gave me a hampers for free. But my contract was with Costco's who just really seemed like they didn't give a siht.
Will never buy from them again!!!!!!

AND THIS IS THE REPLY FROM COSTCO. I AM OBVIOUSLY JUST A MINION TO THEM AND AS YOU CAN SEE.....THEY REALLY DONT GIVE A SIHT

Used to have good customer care.
I ordered an item and it arrived late on the 25th of November 30 days was the 25th December. Now their 30 day price match was not working on Christmas Day so I called at 11am when they opened Boxing Day to register it now it did not arrive until 3pm on the 25th so technically not even 31 days. As it was one day out they will not price match it, but it gets even more silly, they are now paying to send a courier out to pick the item up and to give me a full refund instead of the £100 difference they are now selling it for I am over 90 minutes to a store and I have purchased it for £4 more from another supplier. Crazy

Check prices carefully - not always best value

This company used to offer great value consistently - not any more. Bought 64 2nd Class stamps for £54.99 assuming such would be at a c.5% discount as they were in the past. From the Post Office, would have been £55.68, so the saving down to 1.2%. Some things still good value - but much is not. Always used to be great value on tyres, for example, but I got my last set markedly cheaper elsewhere. Just my opinion but I think this company has slightly lost its way from the strong value premise of the past. So my advice would be use by all means noting the advantages of easy, spacious parking but don't automatically assume you are getting a great deal - I think those days are gone.

Absolutely rubbish total lack of communication no customer service lack of management communication never trust a word they say they lie to you
We ordered a majestic hamper to be delivered on 12 December an it never arrived it cost over £300 i spent everyday ringing an requesting to speak to a manager no one ever rang me back
the hamper was a christmas present to an office which has now shut for christmas the hamper is still missing i have been on the phone for over an hour an requested an update as to when we can expect hamper an still no one knows where it is i would never recommend using costco online to anyone utter rubbish

Poor delivery company used by Costco

Have been ordering a Jimmys Farm Turkey from them for several years. Previously not had a problem with the delivery, but today it’s totally mucked up my arrangements. FedEx are supposed to be delivering and haven’t turned up despite giving me a time slot which they have failed on. Chased them up and still waiting for someone to get back to me, if this is the service I’m going to get then I won’t be ordering next year very dissatisfied as it’s affecting my travel plans.

I usually have good experiences at Costco, but this visit was disappointing. The kitchen worker, Zabun, came across as dismissive and impatient. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, but the attitude made the interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Mistakes happen and everyone has off days, but this has been happening continuously every time I come to Costco.

Ordered an IPad on special buy

Ordered an IPad on special buy. Never arrived and was never told it was oversold and would never come anyway. Just days before Xmas. Awful customer service as each time I called they said it would get dispatched in a day or so. Completely untrue. They couldn’t even be bothered to check. Still haven’t had a refund.

policy changing

Dear Costco Customer Service,
I have been a loyal Costco member for many years and truly value the service and benefits you provide. Recently, I contacted your team to inquire about adding my daughter to my membership card. Over the phone, I was informed of the process, but when I visited the store a few days later, I was advised that this option is now only available for business memberships.
I believe this situation could have been handled more effectively if all the details, including the policy change, had been communicated during my initial call. This would have saved time and avoided confusion.
As a long-standing customer, I find it disappointing that such a significant policy change was implemented without clearer communication. I kindly request that Costco consider improving transparency and consistency in how these updates are shared with members.

I have been regular customer of Southampton Costco for more than 7 years and I buy Kirkland water every time but lately Costco Kirkland water quality has changed especially with the new bottle I don't recommend it and please change it to the previous Kirkland water.
