Have just spent the weekend at the camp site, was well worth the trip down to the Cotswolds. Facilities where tip top. The Calderon cafe food and entertainment were well worth the visit. Will be coming back. Thank you for a pleasurable visit.

AVOID! multiple loud parties all night, smell of weed everywhere. unsafe park. we left after 1 night it was that bad - owner offered us a credit note which is no good to us; given the experience, why would I want to repeat that? joke business that only exists because of the success of clarksons farm!

I signed up for info as I was interested in buying a Garmin watch. Unfortunately I was then harassed by messages to my work telephone with stupid messages inviting me to buy buy buy....
It was awful. I managed to unsubscribe, and I would now not use this company on principle.

Very bad service.
I booked a camping site, paid for it, then got a call saying it was cancelled with no refund. When I inquired, the person who called me used abusive language.

I visited the Hedge End Branch on Monday 20th September with the purpose of looking at the latest range of footwear. Cotswold stock Hoka running and trail shoes. I was offered very well considered advice and guidance by Elliot. Nothing was too much trouble and he allowed me to try on quite a few pairs. He observed my gait and very sensibly suggested that I would benefit from a more structured and supportive trainer than the one I initially considered purchasing. I am under the care of a podiatrist for a metatarsal condition and I found Elliot’s recommendations very helpful in informing my decisions. Elliot is a great member of the Cotswold team and presents with an easy going charm and great enthusiasm in his work.

Due to lockdown a booking of £110.00 was cancelled and being financially considerate to the site we left the £110.00 in credit. Mistake. We made a further booking, 24 to 27 May leaving £35.00 in credit.
This visit resulted in the observation that while this site is ideal for campers it was/is unsuitable for caravans, (e.g., fresh water points lower than an aquaroll (with no hosepipe extension), no waste water points that we could find, limited nearby toilet facilities, etc.). We nearly came home before the end of the holiday – a very rare occurrence.
As a result we requested a refund of the remaining £35.00. The refund has been refused based on the site’s T&Cs that credits are non-refundable… Hence, the mistake comment – we should have requested the deposit of £110.00 be refunded/returned and not converted into a credit.
If you have a caravan we strongly recommend that you do not use this site as there are far better sites in the area. Also in a lockdown scenario we would recommend getting a full deposit refund and avoid the credit trap.
