Cottman of Louisville Reviews 

I needed help trouble shooting an engine code. Cottman came back with a realistic and fair repair quote. Unfortunately, it was not in my budget at the time. There were no pressure tactics, just understanding that I could have the work done right now.

Greg and the rest of the team at Cottman of Louisville are awesome, they got my transmission put in a day early, made sure it was safe and took the time to keep me informed about work that needed to be done in the near future. I would send anyone I know to them for all their automotive needs, Cottman of Louisville thank you so much for taking care of my Escalade, the stereo on wheels.

The staff at cottman were precise, transparent, friendly, and trustworthy. Professionalism was evident from my first phone call until the end of the job.

Awesome, fixed my radiator in 1.5 days, great friendly service & told me up front exactly how much it was going to be, highly recommend!

The moment my transmission went out, I immediately felt the dread of "how was I going to get this repaired?" I did a search and read a number of the reviews for Cottman's. So I decided to risk it and take a chance on having my 2009 Dodge Journey towed to their shop. Greg called the next morning for a rundown of what happened. He called me later and confirmed my worse fears. BUT gave me time to figure out what I wanted to do or more accurately "could do."

I don't know if I can post this part but I found a transmission, had it shipped to Cottman's, Greg gave me an estimate, and worked with me on paying for the installation and made sure I followed all of the steps for the warranty that came with the transmission. All total, it wasn't cheap as I would have liked but definitely cost even less than Greg's original estimate for a new or even rebuilt transmission!

I've been through the ordeal of having a transmission rebuilt twice before and can honestly say this was by far the most painless experience of having any major repair done on any vehicle I've ever owned! They were so patient with me, didn't press and gave me time to work things out.

I will remain forever grateful to ALL of the mechanics, front office and everyone associated with Cottman Transmission!

If you ever have a transmission problem, in Louisville Kentucky, Cottman's the ONLY place to go!

They are the most honest people in the business.
