​As a first-time buyer, I walked into this process with a lot of nerves and even more questions. I’d heard the horror stories about how stressful buying a home can be, but Countryside Homes truly made my dream come true.

The Process: Seamless and Supportive From the first viewing to the moment I got my house reversed, the process was impressively smooth. They seemed to understand that as a newcomer to the property market, I needed a bit more "hand-holding." There were no hidden surprises or communication blackouts—just a clear, guided path forward.

Linda was very helpful. All my questions were answered. I arrived without an appointment. Linda was very accommodating.

I fell into the show room at Morella Woods Lenham from home searching locally. Meeting Sammy there was my great good luck. Immediately I felt at home. I did want a home in the area but something odd happened when I was there. Ducks fell into line, maybe that was it. Anyway it was something odd.

We started in a three bed show home then moved on onto another and then the last show home. The last show home had everything I had always wanted. I should add there is only me and my dog Denver.

I particularly needed a nice kitchen dinner looking out on the garden. Tick. Comfortable main bedroom and en-suite. Tick. Garage. Tick. What! Double garage!!! Amazing. I didn’t want a car barn at all. I can see the reason. But I didn’t want one. West facing garden? Of yes said Sammy. You want that one then. Pointing out of the front window to another of the same design. Want to look inside? 😃 I took a little time to look around. It’s a serious decision. But Sammy gave me space and it was easy in the end.

Craig Jones has provided a fantastic service at Saddlers Reach so far.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t all been positive. While the homes themselves are lovely, the attention to detail is lacking. Customer service has been disappointing and often rude. When faults were reported, issues were frequently dealt with poorly or patched up, only for the same problems to resurface months later, rather than being fixed properly the first time.

The only reason I have given three stars and not one, is because of Rhodri. He has always been approachable and supportive, not only throughout the purchase process but well beyond it. Even after leaving the site, he continues to help us with any queries we have. Rhodri truly made this journey memorable for us, and it’s a shame the rest of the company doesn’t operate to the same standard.
