Positive experience and reasonable value
First, the only negative. I was a little cautious about this place, I typically avoid using sellers that don't publish their prices on their own website. You can download a price list but you have to give up your email address, which I also dislike. I understand this minimises updates to the site, but it's an area for improvement in my mind, and could attract more customers as there were offers in the shop that weren't reflected in the price list.
However, my mum really wanted to go, a few people in her supported living block had recommended them, so I took her yesterday and we were served by Dave. He spent a great deal of time with us, patiently listening (most importantly) and then advising, getting out and allowing mum to try any number of scooters that she wanted. He was also the first mobility shop person to suggest she consider other options (like a motorised chair) for her intended use. He made sure my mostly-deaf mum was involved in the conversation, which was appreciated. We drove away with a scooter that suited her, with a service plan that seems pretty reasonable value and some 3rd party insurance. I think the scooters that they stock are similar to many other shops, badged differently, and similar in price (no scooters bought from a shop are cheap!) but I left feeling like we achieved a reasonable deal and did not feel my mum was 'ripped off' in any way. We were able to park directly outside, which was great for my mum using her walker (there are a few parking spaces outside the shop for customers, but surrounded by pay spaces so be careful!). It was just yesterday so we've had no need to use their servicing or support as yet, I may update this review when that happens. I've no hesitation at all recommending Countrywide to anyone.
