FLO GAS IS ANTI AUTOGAS

Countrywide Farmers and especially FLO GAS have left all of their dedicated Autogas customers without any information regarding the takeover, The status of our accounts, and their consequent depletion of Autogas suppliers which is in effect the opposite to the governments' preference for Green energy as opposed to petrol and Diesel.
FLO GAS is a disgrace to the automotive industry. With hindsight, the acquisition should never have been allowed !!

We wrote to all customers in September ahead of the Integration of Countrywode LPG and Flogas Britain Limited to ensure all information on the status of you account. If you did not recieve this please email lpgenquiries@flogas.co.uk and we will be able to send you a copy of your letter and make sure you have all of the details needed.

In regards to the depletion of Autogas stockists - there are a few of the keysite pumps that were affected when Countrywide Farmers went into adminstration, leaving Countrywide LPG, and consequently now Flogas, with access issues to some of the pump sites. However with the integration into Flogas there are now more Flogas Autogas stockists than ever before. See https://www.flogas.co.uk/stockists to find your closest one.

Autogas side of the business is slowly…

Autogas side of the business is slowly getting worse and worse. The pumps are closing one by one Witney first then Gloucester now I see they've closed the Chepstow pump. The company is not informing us of closures or when/if they'll be replacing them. I bet not, then when they close completely Flogas will suggest we buy the same gas priced ridiculously by Shell. Usual 'take over' stuff. I'm looking for a new source.

I am sorry for the problems you have had with the Autogas pumps. All of the pump closures you mention are due to access issues with the closure of the Countrywide Farmers stores after that business went into administration.

Now that we are part of Flogas we do keep the Autogas pump and stockist finder as up to date as we can - however technical issues can always occur quicker than the page can be amended. These can be found at www.flogas.co.uk/stockists

Just to confirm that Countrywide LPG was fully integrated into Flogas from October 1st 2018 and we continue to work with the administrators responsible for the Countrywide Farmers sites where our Autogas pump are sited to try and maintain a constant supply where we can. We're sorry that in the sites you mention above that we've not been able to keep this supply constant, we hope to rectify this soon.

Gone from bad to worse

Gone from bad to worse. Took a day off work to wait in for a delivery I was told on the phone would arrive. Ha ha ha. Never came, no call to say sorry we won’t make it. Rang today and they said they “ imagine” it may arrive next week!

Massive improvement....but keep it up!

At the start of this year we experienced terrible problems with this company. We waited forever in a queue to have the call answered and never got a satisfactory outcome. Our last delivery in Feb took around a month to arrive which was around the time the company was being taken over and we were almost out of gas. Fast forward 7 months we requested a tank fill by e- mail and got a reply within a day promising a delivery within 14 working days.
This morning 7 working days later it arrived and we were very happy. As we will need another delivery before Christmas I hope the improvements continue. Let's hope so!

Shocking service, unhelpful and no manager available to handle my complaint.

Shocking service. I have moved to a new business premises that was using Countrywide. I agreed to continue using them and set up an account in June. They then proceeded to take money out of my account via direct debit for an invoice dated 3rd of May. I called and was told that I had to prove that I wasn't in the premises on the invoice date. My account was only open in June how is it possible to have an invoice on my account from May. They refuse to deal with me and no manager is present when I call to handle the issue, they are now requesting lease documents and proof of my tenure, seems a little excessive since I only opened my account with them in June. Avoid at all costs as if they mess up you will not get your issue resolved and you will be made to jump through hoops.

Efficient, cheerful service

I've just signed up for LPG deliveries because we're moving house - the process for getting gas couldn't have been more straightforward. Unlike broadband - it seems BT is living in the last century.

countrywide delivers

excellent service from the start.
countrywide are very customer oriented and have provided everything promised in our start up agreement.
They have already contacted us to check our gas level and placed order on our behalf. This has been delivered promptly in short timescale.
A countrywide engineer has visited and checked our tank and installation
and replaced a defective gas valve. Also a gsm gas tank level indicator was fitted enabling remote monitoring of our gas level.
i would recommend Countrywide to all

Good service

Good service. Don't understand all the negativity. Never had a problem ordering fork lift truck and heating gas.

Avoid

Everything was OK until they changed ownership / company name. Now, all of the comments on here are totally true and correct. This is a company in crisis and their customer service is non existent. I am going elsewhere, even though they say I have a contract. No court will support a company who fail so miserably.

Price is extortionate and service…

Price is extortionate and service…

Price is extortionate and service abysmal. I have been trying to get them to talk to me about my contract for weeks now.
It is a totally new company; New Name; New Company Registration No. but they refuse to accept my contract being void.

I even offered to let them renew it with a sensible price. I have been offered 30% cheaper gas another company.

I will leave them and when I do will publish my findings for you to leave in droves; serves them right for being so belligerent.

This part of the failed business is listed as being extremely profitable which is why DCC Plc, took this part of Countrywide Farmers over and not the rest.
I even cancelled my last order and they refused to allow that; delivered it whilst I was out.

As my colleague advised all contracts were transferred over when DCC bought Countrywide LPG along with all of its assets and liabilities. We wrote to our customers in the hope of explaining this and we are sorry if this communication was not as clear as we intended.

Unacceptably poor service

Unacceptably poor service. I ordered LPG for my tank on March 5th; it's now April 11th and I'm running out. I've e-mailed several times but they don't respond. Connecting by 'phone takes forever, but I did 'phone and was promised a call back with a delivery date. No call back has ever come.
The whole saga of getting the tank installed in the first place took forever, and now no gas supply, and I'm running out. How do we keep warm and cook?
Short conclusion, can't recommend this supplier.

We experienced delays due to industrywide supply issues that were well reported in the press and this had an effect on our phone lines, our LPG customer Service Team were answering the calls as quickly as possible but unfortunately our hold times were extended.

What Service?

Words hardly convey how appalling Countrywide LPG customer service is. We ordered a refill when our tank was at 40% on 1 March. Numerous phone calls have been made, emails sent, complaints raised with the call centre, the Managing Director and UKPLG. We have been promised delivery's on 22 March, 24 March, 25 March, 26 March and then today 4 April. Nothing, absolutely diddly squat. Rang again today and have been promised a delivery by the end of this week, we're not holding our breath. Meantime we are strictly rationing our gas use with no heating, no hot water and showers every other day. We have an 85 year old relative arriving tomorrow. We tried to cancel our Direct Debit and found out that they had already cancelled it with our bank. Yesterday they tried to take out a payment under a different name without our mandate, suffice to say we have now recovered the payment. If Countrywide think that this is the way to keep our custom then they are sadly mistaken. We would advise everybody to take their business elsewhere, we can see no end in sight regarding their abject customer service and lies regarding delivery. We have still to hear how they intend to deal with our complaint, we've not even had formal acknowledgement of receipt, though the call centre have said that it's on our file.

The communication is truly awful, difficult to get hold of them, never ring back, rarely ever email etc.

Update, just been on to the phone to them, went from 9th in queue to 7th in queue waited 30 minutes went to 15th in queue then when phone actually rang I was put through to an answer service as before. Truly rubbish and would never recommend them to even my worse enemy!!!!!

HAVING PAID £209+ ON THE 19TH FEBRUARY FOR A DELIVERY OF GAS ,ITS NOW 4TH APRIL AND STILL NO GAS ,NOR A REPLY FROM THEM ON THE PHONE ,I FIND THIS COMPANY UTERLY RUBBISH TO DEAL WITH ,IVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH TRADING STANDARDS ABOUT THE AWFULL SERVICE ,DONT TRY AND RING BECAUSE YOUR ON HOLD FOR AGES ,IVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 1HR 11MINS TODAY ,AND THEN GET CUT OFF ,!!!!!
WELL STOP PRESS THE TRUCK HAS JUST ARRIVED ,WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP .

if you can swap....do so.....shocking bad service

Every time we have to contact them to get the tanks refilled its like puling teeth.
on average four phone calls each around an hour a time to get a sort of response via the girl on the phone who i do actually feel sorry for. The official line is our transport department are very busy who will contact you later today.... yeah, right!

we are currently 3 tanks empty, 4 weeks since last contact and as of yet 8 weeks since our last 'top up' of 15% which took us to 18%.

shocking service, either via email, phone, carrier pigeon or imaginary friend.

What a terrible company to deal with!

What a terrible company to deal with. I understand there were some gas supply issues to the end of last year but that doesn't detract from the appalling level of service from this company. It is non-existent!! I simply cannot get hold of anybody to confirm my gas delivery, that's all I want to know, when is it coming? I've repeatedly emailed, telephoned (you wait over 1 hour in a call system) which never gets answered, I've gone through their web portal. Nothing.

Has Autogas been abandoned?

After trying unsuccessfully to fill my Autogas vehicle at Wooferton, Banbury and Leominster, and trying to ring the company on occasions over several weeks with no success - I came to Trustpilot. I now realise from the many previous reviews the devolved Countrywide lpg business is in real trouble. Its very sad and I feel sorry for the plight of domestic and commercial lpg customers... and also the staff trying to provide a service under difficult circumstances. on the website I can see no reference to the Autogas side of the business being closed..... or maintained. The pumps are just dead or "locked out".
Some information on Autogas would be appreciated.

I must apologise that you were unable to speak to anybody with regards to your query about the Autogas sites, we experienced delays with deliveries due to the issues with the UK fuel terminals which caused an extremely high volume of calls and emails, this had a knock on effect on our hold times.

Due to the change over of the business to Countrywide LPG Ltd we have had access issues with some of our Autogas sites as they are owned by Countrywide Farmers PLC who unfortunately went in to administration. This has meant that some of our sites have regrettably had to close.

Beware they take your money but don’t supply the gas and leave you without heating

Order gas bottles two weeks ago and received nothing with no communication.
But they take your money straight away with no insight of when or if you will receive your gas.

If you try ringing they put you on hold from anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for them to answer only for them to blame their transport department.
They promise to chase the transport department and call you back but never do, so you have to spend another hour on the phone only for them to blame their transport department again.
I have spent days unable to go out in case they turn up without notice, like they did last time, even though it’s on their system to call the day before to ensure someone is here.
Their extremely poor service and complete lack of communications has cost me money due to having days off work when no deliveries arrive, left me without heating and totally frustrated.
Looking at the other poor reviews it seems this is how they treat all their customers, and you think the company owners and directors would be investigating the issues with the poor customer service and what the issues are with the transport department
