dubious promo codes couponFollow

I was looking for a promo codes for the O'Reilly learn platform. Here I found a 40% discount for a yearly membership and a general discount of 25% as day offer of 15. December 2025.
At the end I didn't got any discount and the button I have clicke on was linked to the O'Reilly platform. But after registration I should pay the yearly amount of 954,- € for 2 students which I never want. I want a 3 month membership for 126,- € . 25%
When the payment process has started and I realised that I should pay 954,- €/year, I have logged out immediately and have changed the passwort.
After that I have immediately contacted O'Reilly directly and O'Reilly confirmed, that this promo code is not from them.
==> "I can let you know the coupon site you shared is not our official sale codes, we only ever communicate through our own website, LinkedIn and marketing emails. Coupons or codes found on third-party websites are not affiliated with O'Reilly and therefore invalid."

I don't want to say more but I was a bit in panic after that but O'Reilly support was very friendly and provided the same offer to me directly.

Now I have learned to be more carefully when I am looking for promo codes.
