I did not get the hermione knife that was shown in the advertising on the web. I got one with lighter wood which looks less striking. Not the look I wanted

I could not get the product I wanted from our local retail store. By contacting Laguiole on line, they fulfilled my order and it was sent to the US in record time. I am very impressed, and I have told our local store about my superb experience with Laguiole. Also the carving set is wonderful as a special present for a family member. He is so happy with it.

My experience with laguiole was great, the knives are outstanding, fine and elegant. It is a pleasure to use them.
The only thing I would improve is the time of delivery.

A great website and very nice to that I can order a custom made product. Some of the later communication was in French only but that's only a minor annoyance.
I received my knife around 2,5 weeks later and it is indeed very nice, handmade and of great quality. Embossing my name in the forged spring makes it even more personal.

The service was top notch, and the customer service rep would respond immediately and they worked through anything I needed.

I bought two knives and I'm very pleased with the quality. Easy to use website, and very excellent communication with prompt delivery. Would order again.

I love this knife. I bought my first one in Lucerne, Sw.
My home was broken into and I caught the thieves in the act. I got every thing back except my Lagouile.
So I ordeded a new one. And to my surprise, it came with the inscription Trinacria? Which is the flag of Sicly. I am full blooded Sicilian!!?
Which is a pleasant suprise!! Why they did that, I have no idea??
Can you in lighten me?

Over all, I was pleased with the purchase and the company. I like the strop and the fact that I can change it out to different strops. A couple of small issues with quality, however not a big enough problem to send it back or exchange it. it still works fine. I would like to purchase one of Couteau Laguiole's pocket knives in the future as well.

Best quality handcrafted laguiole knives, would recommend them anytime.
