I opened a savings account on line it was an easy procedure and was quickly approved. The interest is above average and all relevant information was received within a reasonable time. I have banked with Coventry Building Society for many years and have always been happy with the professional service I have received.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and quick to answer the phone. Easy to deal with and nice to speak to another English speaking human.

Tuesday after Bank Holiday CBS telephone systems could not cope.

I am an existing customer. Choose to go with coventry for my isa as the rate offered was competative. ( within0.2 of best) I knew them and adding an additional account was very easy.

Easier online system than others and telephone grid system is great for phone account running -rates reasonable but still falling into the trap of reducing rates and better rates on new accounts forcing closure and re application to new. Confirmation of account letters are slow in arriving but not critical to service.
Hope best of Cooperative Bank is used to boost service.

I always find the Coventry Building Society customer service very helpful. I have never had to wait long to connect to anyone. The products offered by them are competitive and clearly explained.

Easy and simple navigating the products that I was looking. Customer service were helpful when I needed advice and support.

Worst mortgage company ever!. Avoid. They let my signature be forged and passed it for a new agreement with separation and a non molestaion order. Now they lent him rent the property out against their agreement and let him keep a gun, do drugs and have loud parties which, disturb neighbours. They were told to contact police by a police officer and say it’s not their job. I have to hear about all this behaviour from past neighbours after fleeing domestic abuse and Coventry allow it all to carry on!. Disgusting. Long as they get their money they have no morals and don’t uphold their own terms or punish when not adhered to.

A Cash ISA matured and I was looking to transfer to a new Fixed Rate Cash ISA.
As there was a 10 minute wait for my call to be picked up I requested a call back.
This was received promptly and my new ISA transfer completed quickly, with the old account closed.

The web site was easy to use and navigate. Found what I was looking for in a matter of second.
Always have checked this Building Society when making decisions about savings/investment as they have good interest rates and have always found the staff helpful and knowledgeable when I have needed help or advice with my accounts

Coventry Building Society's rates are not always the highest, but they are an ethical organisation with excellent customer service.

Dreadful app.
Probably the worst banking app I have had the misfortune to use. Shows little of no detail and half the account information is missing.
There are some fantastic banking apps out there but this is not one of them. Designed by a novice who doesn’t use the Coventry app!
One of the problems is that I am unable to ascertain when my Isa’s are due to expire as half the date is obscured on one Isa and missing from the other.
I use an iPad and the screen is only half filled by the app.

I find their App easy to navigate, never have trouble getting onto the App to view accounts and easy straightforward way to bank

I went to the Southam branch a week ago to renew a bond etc, l was seen, on time ,by Nik who was very knowledgeable and was able to offer lots of advice. The follow up happened as she explained it would.
Service at this level is hard to find.

I’ve saved with them for years and never felt the need to look elsewhere.

I am so pleased I have products (mortgages) wth The Coventry Building Society. Everything is easy to manage, you can contact them easily and calls are answered or returned in a very reasonable timescale. The customer service advisors or product sales representatives are informative and listen carefully so respond to requests accurately. Very pleased.
