HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE! Tried their "free trial" and was stuck in a loophole of figuring out how to cancel the membership.
They coded the mobile site to spam pop ups that trick you into buying coins instantly, and when you finally figure out how to cancel after waiting 24 hours... the website literally signs you out over and over preventing you from cancelling your subscription. I had to try numerous times to finally get it off. AVOID!

100% a Scam Site

The company has designed a site that is good at one thing -- tricking people into paying for a full year of service when they think they're getting a free trial. I'm pretty sure this is the whole business model: trick people out of their money. That said, the final customer service agent I got did a great job of keeping a cool head and issued a refund.

Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.

It was easy to sign up, but not easy to cancel. The instructions say there should be a cancellation option in the account, yet in my case, there was no such button visible. I had to contact support and wait while they said my cancellation was “being processed”, then again emailed to get "successfully cancelled".

This is not how a fair subscription system should work. Customers should be able to cancel directly and immediately, without searching, guessing, or depending on support emails.

The lack of a clear cancellation option seriously damages trust. I would advise others to be very careful before subscribing.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They charged an annual subscription instantly when I subscribed to a free trial. I was taken to a POP up which said claim your free tokens, then it even said you won't be charged anything today. Then BAM $92 AUD charged.
They used to be great many years ago, but they've changed to SCAM SCAM SCAM - STAY AWAY!!!!!

Purposely manipulate things to get you to click links getting more coins which force the twelve month subscription without specifically advising you.

You get stuff all for the money and 15 second clips.

Another person here to complain

Another person here to complain about the exact same awful practices of this company, although I have a happy ending at least.

(And lol at these damage control reviews claiming fast and thoroughly helpful customer service).

Like many, I signed up for the free trial and ended up being hit with the full subscription within five minutes. I'm not even quite sure how they got me -- I was avoiding those FREE COINS messages but considering their tactics I may have accidentally hit one. I certainly did not fulfil any of their three criteria for the switch over and I had proof of such.

Had to use a YouTube video just to find the option to cancel -- more shadiness.

Went through their AI, which then resulted in another AI in email form telling me they wouldn't refund. I said they must and why. Didn't hear back from them in over 24 hours (but then again they probably are up to their eyeballs in complaining emails).

Disputed it with my bank and within 45 minutes it was resolved and I have my money back. I have a feeling my bank saw "Fabrica" and was immediately all "yeah, refund it".

The thing is, if I had been able to properly explore the service I might have actually been interested in a subscription! But absolutely no way now. Do better.

Signed up for a free trail

Signed up for a free trail, a pop up told me to claim some coins so I clicked on it just to realize that by clicking it I was signing up to a 47 US yearly subscription, it was not clear that I was agreeing to it, if it says it it said it in small letters that didn't let you know properly. I wrote to them and nd they said I was eligible for a refund to follow some steps I followed some steps and got offered compensation via coins and other not full refund options to try to get me to stay. I clicked the full refund option just to get an error message not letting me do it.

Im currently in a dispute trying to get a refund still. :( It has been 5 days

Shady and Fraudulent Business Practices

UPDATE: I received an email back (same day, about 30ish minutes after I contacted customer support.) The rep apologized and stated they ensure my free trial has been cancelled and I will not be charged.I will update if and new charges are attempted.

I needed to edit a picture of a document. I found this website from a google search, and it seemed to check all of the boxes for the tools I needed. The company offers a FREE 30 day trial for their subscription plan. In order to proceed, they require you to either sign up for the free trial or purchase a subscription plan (which is over $54 a month). I opted for their free 30 day trial. They require a payment method to be added for the free trial. I added a payment method where there is never any money in the account (maybe a couple dollars) and has been active for years. It’s literally my “free trial account” since it has no overdraft abilities.

Immediately after signing up for their free trial (which stated could be cancelled anytime, right in the account settings.) my payment method had a $0.00 authorization charge, which I am assuming was to ensure the payment method was valid. No problem, many businesses do this. However, within the first 5 minutes of my signing up for their 30 DAY FREE TRIAL, there was an attempted charge to the payment method I added of the full amount (over $54) of the subscription, which was denied.

I immediately went into my account (following the websites’ instructions, and went to the subscription settings to cancel the free trial. But there is NO option to cancel listed. I opened their chat on the website, only to find there is no live chat option, but instead you have to fill out a form and send it in and wait for a response. Which I did. I also rechecked to make sure I went to the correct location to cancel the free trial. In the websites instructions, it states that under the subscription tab, it will have the option to click directly on the name of the subscription, which will open a new area for you to select the cancel option. However, in my subscription tab, in the place where it lists the subscription name, and should be clickable, instead states “subscription activating” and it is not clickable.

I feel this business has very shady and fraudulent practices, as my account did not have the option to click on the subscription name as it stated in their directions that it should, there is no live chat available, and they stated it’s a free 30 day trial for zero dollars but attempt to charge you for the full sub subscription price five minutes after signing up for their free trial. I feel it’s safe to assume that had that full charge been completed, I would never see that money again.

My mistake for not reading the reviews before signing up. Lesson learned. If you are thinking about using this website, I caution you very strongly to change your mind and avoid this business at all costs.

Deceptive bait-and-switch tactics

Deceptive bait-and-switch tactics – Avoid at all costs!

Stay away! Like many others, I was bait-and-switched. While on the free trial, a window popped up offering "free credits/coins." The moment I clicked it, my PayPal account was charged for a full year ($47) instantly. No verification, no "Are you sure?" screen – just a direct, unauthorized charge.

When I contacted support, the bot was completely unhelpful, merely offering to "open a ticket." Their follow-up email was cold and dismissive, showing zero regret for the accidental subscription. They essentially acted as if nothing could be done, only mentioning in the fine print that I could reply if I still felt entitled to a refund.

The most shocking part happened when I tried to open a dispute via PayPal. I was met with a pre-written message from the company pleading: "Get an immediate refund by contacting us first. Formal disputes involve lengthy bank investigations... our team can process your refund right away and skip the wait."

This proves they know exactly what they are doing. They are running a fraudulent scheme and are terrified of formal bank disputes. It’s an absolute disgrace. Save your money and your nerves – stay far away.

PLS PLS PLS DONT USE THIS APP THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. So many other people have had this experience. I sign up for a free trial, the video I try to make for my uni project is awful, not at all what I asked for. Then they have a random pop up that comes up and says something about collecting coins DO NOT CLICK ON IT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. There is small print below saying if you click on this we will cancel your free trial and charge your account for the whole year. HOW IS THIS LEGAL??? THEN YOU CANT CANCEL YOUR subscription for 24 HOURS APPARENTLY? IM WAITING BUT other people say they just keep getting charged anyway after cancelling. Plssss don’t use this website its causing me so much stress

90% of creative fabrics images are…

90% of creative fabrica images are garbage. Low quality cut offs, AI images with extra body parts, misspellings and the list goes on and on. Horrible customer service and VERY shady business practices.

I have to print every image from that garbage site to see how it is going to look AND 1 out of 5 downloads has to be deleted. Most of the crap is either AI or stolen off of the internet and just slapped in a folder.

Never again will I use this site after my subscription runs out. They let anybody sell there and they vett nobody. They should pay me to use it, total trash. Id rather pay for useful images then this junk.

Just scribble on paper and you can be a cf artist.🤡 Date of experience is ANY TIME YOU ARE ON THAT SITE.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT: DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES ⚠️
Be extremely careful with Creative Fabrica! They use 'Dark Patterns' to trick users into paid subscriptions. I signed up for a $0.00 Free Trial, and they instantly charged my card $47.00 without a single confirmation screen or price disclosure.
Even worse, they issued two conflicting invoices at the exact same minute ($0 and $47). When I tried to cancel, their system locked my account in 'Activating' status to prevent immediate cancellation. This is a total scam. I have already filed a formal Chargeback with my bank. STAY AWAY! ❌"
