Usless, no contact number, no e-mail! They decreased my score, because I signed the contract with O2, and i cancel the contract same day, just because the O2 Seller wasnt clear about the contract!... See more

If you forget about subscribing to their service you might find yourself paying for years as conveniently (for them) they never send invoices or bills, just quietly charge your card.

ZERO STARS – INCORRECT /OUTDATED DATA – NO REFUND – A JOKE OF A COMPANY

They “lured” me to buy their £18 report on Autotrader by saying that the car I was interested in “had adverse data” and “might have outstanding finance”. The car was an approved Mercedes sold by Mecedes-Benz-Brentford which meant that by definition could not have finance on it. Anyway, I bought the report as got scared there could be some issue with the car and the only thing that was written on it was 1/ the VIN was missing ( I already had the VIN from Mercedes Benz Brentford because had agreed to buy the car at their showroom before reading the experian comments on Autotrader) and there was written name and number of the finance company (which by the way was owned by Mercedes Benz, anyway) with no mention on the fact that there was outstanding finance. I called Experian to ask for an explanation about the data they SOLD me via the report. After 2 days of calls they told me the data was from 2019 (it was the last week of July 2020 - so at least 7 months old) and that basically the finance company had forgotten to update their data and to be assured that there was no finance on the car (really??). I therefore asked for a refund since they had sold me a report with wrong information in it. They told me they could not refund me because it was not their fault but the finance company fault and they cannot check and make sure that the huge amount of data they "SELL" on thousands and thousands of cars is correct and updated. (WHAAAAAT ?)
So to recap they sell you info to help you make an informed decision while buying a used car BUT if the information is wrong they do not take responsibility for it.
Having understood the careless way they run their business, I will NEVER EVER buy anything anymore from Experian and would recommend every reader to be aware of the above as their data might be wrong which means it is utterly USELESS (and you also pay for it).
ZERO STARS.
A shameful company, Yuck!

Nearly lost for words as to how bad…

Nearly lost for words as to how bad this company is. but honestly look at the other reviews, this is not just my view, go elsewhere if you can.

Just wasted another hour trying to login and keep getting "duplicate account" and go round in a loop, ongoing complaint since beginning of April and still not sorted.

I recently signed up for the free trial…

I recently signed up for the free trial of the Premium Credit Score Management.

I had actually used my free trial 3 or 4 years ago, but the website doesn't mention this and proceed's with the setup as if the trial is going ahead, only they charge you on day one.

One I finally managed to speak to someone, its turns out that by default they will only refund part of the payment, and they have to raise a complaint in order to refund the remaining money as a 'goodwill gesture'!!

It also feels very deliberate that I got 'cut off' halfway through the process twice in a row, despite having perfect signal, currently on hold for the third time.

Edit: Cut off a third time, brilliant.

Avoid.

Very poor service! When I checked my credit score I got excellent and had loans pre approved and some at 95% approval and still I get turned down!

Loan company said experian holds information on me which went against me. But Experian should have told me this prior to applying for anything, now my credit score will be effected because of their incompetence and shady scores.

Avoid at any cost! Don’t pay, even the free one is a lie!

Very disappointed.

I would rate zero if I could

I would rate zero if I could. I have full subscription costing £14.99 a month. In their marketing they advise 'Use Experians Victim of Fraud support team' My advice is ...DONT. Well dont unless you are prepared to wait literally months. It is much quicker and more efficient to do it yourself. If it was left up to Experian, frankly the fraudsters would be away with thousands and your credit score on the floor. They quote 30 days for adding a notice of correction to your file. I mean their useless 'phone operators' could have added 10000 notices of correction on the file the amount of time you have to spend on the phone repeating everything to them, very very slowly. Worse than useless, dangerous. Am considering a court claim to reclaim my subscription money.

shocking company i have advised them of fraud on my account given them police reference numbers. Cyber crime have placed cifas on the account and experian have done nothing.
2 creditors have requested 2 off them to be removed and sent me copied email requests and still experian have not removed them. They have been reported and will be fully investigated.

EXPERIAN ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

Experian are totally responsible for my low credit score they should be investigated by Action Fraud.
My identity has been stolen and Experian know this because a Cifas warning stating i have been a victim of Identity Fraud is actually on my Experian Credit Report but they continue to allow low life cyber criminals access into it to obtain loans fraudulently in my name despite several telephone calls and complaint letters telling them to lock my Credit Report. Experian is run by a bunch of Incompetent clowns are as far as I am concerned. they couldnt careless about the devastating effects on peoples lives who had had their Identity stolen, I have told Experian time and time again to lock my account because cyber criminals are accessing it to obtain loans fraudulently in my name, they know I am having treatment for Breast Cancer but they still havent lock it and as a result, my score has just dropped down to an extremely poor rating because low life cyber criminals have yet again, obtained another loan fraudulently in my name and yet again, left me with the devastating extremely stressful consequences of an unpaid loan ansolutely unbelievable. Experian should be shut down and investigated right now.

Unable to register for experian complimentary identity plus subscription

A company sent me an email few weeks ago regarding an illegal unauthorised access to their network so they gave their customers an activation code for complimentary identity plus subscription. I've tried to register for experian complimentary identity plus subscription but unable to do. At the end of registration process there's an error message. I've spoken to experian few times in the last few days but they couldn't resolve this issue. I've realised that there are untrained people working at experian and they totally ignore you if they are unable to fix any issue. Not sure what to do now.

Experian is good, ClearScore is better

Experian is good for trying to build credit and monitoring credit report changes. They do help with any issues you have with the report and work to help you update it. BUT you can only see your report if you pay £14.99. However, This is alot per month, they offer other stuff with this like monitoring ID theft etc,but you still need to upgrade to see your report.

So I have left Experian and now use the CLEARSCORE app where you can see your detailed report for free & is updated monthly!

Still Stealing My Money As Well...

This company continues to steal my money and take fees out for both my wifes and my own credit account at £14.99 each per month. They have been doing this for years now and the also have double charged me for many months in the past too and there appears to be nothing that you can do.

They do not respond by email and you can not even get into your accounts without appplying another £14.99 charge to your card.

Time for my lawyer... I have had enough!
