I entered an IVA because of company…

I entered an IVA because of company debts and I was the sole director.
I feel as though I was cohersed into accepting the outcome I was told countless times you will be better off and your house would be protected
It’s been 102 months now I finished paying the monthly amounts in December 23 they then wanted my share of our jointly owned house but I sold it in may 2016 to pay off private debts we then began renting until my wife’s father passed awAy leaving my wife a large amount of money she bought a small house which is owned by her but they still are pressuring for more money I have had countless variation meetings with no results

No help/support available once contract signed

No customer help/support whatsoever. They offer a phone number which I've tried multiple times a day for 3 weeks to no avail. I once left the phone aside and waited 4.5 hours with no answer. I am now very skeptical this company is legit or even still exists yet I'm continuing to pay monthly. DO NOT use CreditFix under any circumstance.

I've been with Creditfix for 5 years

I've been with Creditfix for 5 years. I'm in my last year. I've always found them supportive and informative. I recently had to pay for 2 surgeries for my dogs and requested a payment break. I contacted them, but the wrong department. I sorted out all of this with the correct department and it was sorted with ease. Though they did take a payment when agreed to have the break but they set up to refund me straight away. Thank you to Connor for being so efficient and understanding and to Joe for getting me to the right departments. I can't wait to be debt free and if it wasn't for these ladies and gents I would be in such a mess.

DISGUSTING COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They just want more of your money as they take more from your payment than the creditors actually get. I have never missed a payment and my IVA finished over 6 months ago yet I am still contacting them to get the IVA closed. My contract says that the closure process can take up to 6 months but every time I contact them, they tell me they are awaiting the Finance Team to finalise one more payment with the creditors.

Every time, Customer support say to give a couple of days.
One guy said he’d speak to Finance and get back to me next week (!!) - of course, he didn’t!
I have sent a complaint email to Customer Services - again, I have heard nothing.

Next step is to complain to the Financial Ombudsman which means that this will be a long, drawn out process.

Do not get an IVA with this company

I’ve had an IVA but this company put two on my credit file which even though it’s closed completed and been 6 years are still showing. They deny there’s two on there but there is with two separate account numbers! I’m fed up contacting them about it now it’s ruining my credit report

Do not use them

Do not use them. They feed misinformation I was told I wont lose anything and I did my home and phone contract I spent months in 2019 telling companys I'm not bankrupt but some said I was. I not used since 2020 cancel then as they cost me I paid all my debit of clear. But what got me is it wasn't put on my credit file till last year 2023 so the credit I built back up has now dropped cause they reported years on. I spent months trying to get in touch nothing one email last year to prove things and I got someone else personal file sent to me I informed them of data breach. Months on I'm still waiting even tho emailed its now 2024

I’ve been in an IVA for 4 years

I’ve been in an IVA for 4 years, which was due to finish next year. I’ve been made redundant twice (covid/climate related) and this company are terrible to deal with when you ask for a simple payment break which you are entitled to. I’m so tired now with their behaviour - constant calls, incessant behaviour I’m hoping to terminate and speak to the creditors direct as I’m honestly fed up of how they go on. I was late making a payment (never missed one) and their behaviour is harassing and relentless. I wouldn’t recommend this company, I also would avoid an IVA if I could given how horrendous this has been. They aren’t a nice company to deal with at all! Seriously don’t bother with them, they are bad news.

Horrible

Horrible, horrible company. Submitted my I&E 3 months ago and got am email saying my I&E is completed 2 months ago. Now I receive an email saying my I&E is not completed and if I don't send all documents in 7 days, my IVA will be terminated.

Noone is answering phone calls or emails, zero communication.

TRULY HORRIBLE COMPANY my poor husband…

TRULY HORRIBLE COMPANY my poor husband has had his IVA bought by this company from a lovely firm that was really helpful. He had no say in this and is now at the point of a mental breakdown due to trying to complete on his IVA. They are thieves and robbers and couldn't care less about anyone they just want more and more out of you. IVA's cannot go on longer than 6 years and I'm seeing people 7 and 8 years in, this is completely illegal. I feel they are going to try and extend his term which means we can't move on and care for our disabled son and buy a house. More annoying that we avoided them in the first place and ended up with them anyway.

I finished my IVA around 2 years ago

I finished my IVA around 2 years ago? What I found was it felt once everything was completed I was dropped. I had been told that they would help build my credit score? I don't recall this happening, I haven't looked for any credit since the completion of my agreement until today and despite having a 999 score with Experian it was refused £800.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. When my money decreased by £170 a week and at the same time all the energy and food bills increased. I filled In the annual report and they still expected me to pay. I tried emailing and communicating with them, but they never responded. After 17 months of non payment, they have finally terminated IVA, but they did not tell me, Ive had debt companies contact me. Also, when paying the IVA my creditors were constantly contacting me.

If I could give a negative 10 then I…

If I could give a negative 10 then I would. I was told today by a credit fix employee that I ( HAD TO GET A JOB AS A REQUIREMENT OF MY CONTRACT )
I AM A LONE PARENT AND FULL TIME CARER OF MY DISABLED DAUGHTER.
THAT TODAY HAS INFURIATED MYSELF, I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT, WATCH THIS SPACE.
IF I WAS NOT NOW MY DAUGHTERS FULL TIME CARER, ABSOLUTELY I WOULD BE BACK IN WORK. IM EX VETERAN, MULTI DISCIPLINED ENGINEER QUALIFIED. AND NOW MY DUTY IS TO MY CHILD.
I AM NOT ONLY FEELING VERY ALARMED AND DISTRESSED BY CREDITFIX BUT WILL SEEK LEGAL ACTION UPON THEIR REPLY TO MY RECORDED COMPLAINT.

PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY ... EVER

They set me up paying £250 a month for 5 years in 2019, not affordable but I did it somehow. After 2 years they said I could reduce it, but had to increase from 5 to 6 years, I didn't want to extend but ended up agreeing. The following year they reduced it again because their calculations deemed I was paying more than I could afford, but there was no mention if it extending further this time. One of my debtors continued to chase me for their debt for the first year, despite agreeing to the IVA and agreeing not to contact me, all correspondence was forwarded on to deal with, unknowingly I ended up with a CCJ from them in addition to them being included in the IVA, which should never have happened. Creditfix customer service staff called me stupid and said there is no CCJ, then after providing evidence took 6 months for them to finally accept it was in place telling me it would disappear when the IVA was discharged - that is completely incorrect. They then told me it would be removed within 4 weeks, no surprise but 4 months later it's still in place. It has taken over 12 months to raise a complaint, of which I still have not been given a reference number for or an update, yet they expect me to believe my complaint will be resolved in 8 weeks, with 4 weeks already passed. Additionally without my knowledge they have extended the term for a further 1 year and 4 months, increased my monthly amount, said I cannot reduce the term 'because that's not how it works' so I will now be paying almost £4k above the initial debt I went to them with - so much for some of the debt being written off. I have had no choice but to contact a solicitor. Please please if you are considering an IVA research thoroughly and do not under any circumstances use Creditfix they have broken me and I have at times been too low for words.
