Credit Key made it possible for us to purchase parts for a non-working machine we really needed up and running asap. At Webstaurant we found the item and also the available funds from Credit Key. That was a relief! Thank you Credit Key for having that available to businesses.

It took me exactly one month and 2 days to finally get thru the process of establishing an account and ordering the items that we have been trying to purchase. There needs to be much clearer communications with both the retailer and credit key when it comes to opening accounts and determining the difference between an individual, a business and a government account.

I was enjoying Credit Key. I am currently expanding my business and need equipment. Credit Key made it possible until they no longer. I went in to place a usual order and it was declined. I was stunned. When I signed into my account, I saw where the entire credit line was removed with the status as declined. I have completed and paid off loan amounts with them on-time with no late payments for months now. Credit Key is yet to give me a satisfactory explanation and told me that I can reattempt in six months! No thank you. They rather take the risk on approving accounts for new customers instead of dealing with proven good customers. I spoke to others who said that the same thing happened to them. They do this to ensure that the credit used is very low. If you begin to use too frequently, you get the boot! It would be interesting to know if anyone dealt with this company long term.

Credit Key is going to attempt to respond to this review with the Credit Refresh statement but not only should that not be the case here, credit now is higher than when we were initially approved, I have confirmed with multiple customers that they are a bait and switch company - just about everyone had a similar experience.

If you get approved and need to make purchases, do this as quickly as possible as your privileges will vanish a few months later with a transparently false explanation. They extend credit limits knowing that customers will not be able to spend even a quarter of it before it is pulled.

I contacted the small business association that is meant to empower small women owned businesses and asked them to remove Credit Key as a suggestion for business financing. I would like companies like WebstaurantStore to consider mainstream and transparent options for business equipment financing. This will ensure that small businesses like my own have peace of mind when working to grow. The bait and switch of Credit Key is unfair and ensures instability.
