On the down side I was disappointed with the size of the plants. They were tiny in comparison to those bought at a garden centre for roughly the same price. I appreciate it may be more practica... See more

Very pleased with the quality of the Hibiscus that arrived. It was superbly and carefully packaged so the plant was in good shape on arrival and not damaged at all - impressive. Thank you. Just got to keep it alive and thriving in our heat waves this summer! So looking forward to the beautiful purple flowers in the weeks to come

The speed of my live plants delivery was fast. The plants were fully matured to grow before they were sent out. Overall, I have no reservations whatsoever recommending Crocus.

Plants were poor on delivery Admittedly The driver left the peony upside down Not sure if it's alive .
The other plants were not in great condition (I've got them in the cold frame & am trying to keep them alive ) They did arrive quickly but I wouldn't use this Company again

This account of my truly awful experience with Crocus follows a wasted attempt to escalate the issue privately with the company. Their pathetic response leads me to post here, as other customers may also run into similar issues.
I sent a rose as a gift for my sister. It arrived in a sadly diseased state. Customer services offered to fast-track a replacement. But failed to liaise with me about dates, so the courier notified us that delivery would be on the day my sister was going away for a week. She used the courier's message system to request a delay, which they acknowledged receipt of. I requested delay via Crocus. The rose was duly delivered anyway, and left in an "appropriate" safe place (not asked for), on the front doorstep. I immediately asked Crocus to organise removal, as a large unopened parcel sitting on a doorstep for 7 days is an open invite to potential burglars. Despite DAILY contact with Crocus customer services and repeated promises to organise pick-up, they failed to do this. Only on my sister's return a week later was the second rose removed from her doorstep. I asked for a refund, which was sorted. But I was furious at the terrible service, waste of time, potential jeopardy of leaving parcels lying around (never mind harm to the poor rose) and embarrassed that I'd made such a hash of sending a simple gift. Shame on you, Crocus. This was another among increasingly common occurrences of large companies who take no responsibility for ensuring their contracted courier services work properly and are responsive both to customers' needs and the company's instructions. I will not be ordering from Crocus again.

Ordered over £200 plants on 2 orders for next day delivery due to the heat. Did not arrive so crocus refunded me. Now 3 days later they arrive in very battered broken boxes and very dry due to heatwave. Today is Friday. Crocus want me to repackage up for them to be collected on Monday, that means the plants will have been sitting in 34 degree heat fur 7 days before they make their journey back. Presumable to me then sent in to another unsuspecting customer

Thank you! The roses arrived well packed, all looking healthy too. Princess Charlene de Monaco rose is currently in question because the bloom doesn’t look like what it’s supposed to look. But, as advised, I will wait and get in touch with you all again for this.

Excellent service, plants packed securely and plants of a superb quality. My only problem was to get the plants out of the box safely, they were packed so well!

Although the plants were healthy and delivered in good time may I point out for the third time in ordering - and receiving - plants the bottom of the box was very soggy. Perhaps put something stronger in the bottom?

Zero stars if I could! A dreadful company!
My wife ordered almost £200 of plants from this company. They arrived like a Tesco supermarket delivery - no protection at all and loose in a plastic crate. The person delivering them quickly whisked this crate away, leaving me with about 20 loose plants on my doorstep! Inevitably, without anything protecting them, several of them had been crushed during delivery and were significantly damaged. Worse still, several of the plants had dead or diseased leaves on them. I raised all this with their customer service. Taking 6 days to reply (it says 2 on their website), they ignored the point about poor delivery and said the plants weren't diseased but had reacted to unusually hot or unusually cold weather conditions (which was it supposed to be !?) - hang on! You're supposed to be a professional nursery that protects the plants from bad weather! They also refused to engage me in returning the plants to them, even though their website says you have 14 days to do this - but without any packaging to return them in, how can you? Instead, they gave me a pathetic £40 refund. An awful experience! Around £160 for a load of diseased and damaged plants that looked like they wouldn't even be good enough for the bargain shelf in B&Q! AVOID.
