Website provided incorrect information on RAM upgrade compatability. Customer service is outsourced and hard to understand, providing no more assistance than can be found using online search engines when attempting to troubleshoot issues. Decided to use Zeus products at the same price, twice the amount of RAM upgrade with zero issues. I am in the process of requesting a refund, (3 days with no update) but having to go through same customer service call center. Call center is unable to provide an update on return request until "internal team" reviews ticket. What a waste of time and money. Thanks for nothing.

Thank you for your completely organic reply to my complaint. I see that you provide the same response to a majority of the reviews on this website. I have sent a response to you directly with my information but I wanted to update my review for the general public to see as well. My rating will remain a 1 star until my return has been completed. I have not received any return information or directions on how you would like me to send the product back to your company, and I am doubtful that I will. To anyone who is reading this before buying products from this company, beware. This is not a company you want to do business with.

I ordered a T705 which was in stock. They send me an email a day later telling me it is out of stock with so no ship date.
Try to lookup order online, Can't find it.
After using the idiotic chat bot, I finally get to a human who informs me that "it will ship whenever it ships". Finally got him to cancel the order. No email to confirm.
Finally got him to send me an email confirming the cancellation.
Refund takes 7-10 business days.
So, let me get this straight, it takes you 30 seconds to book a sale and 7-10 and an hour of my time to refund me the cost because your IT systems CANNOT count how many items you have in stock.

I did not receive a discount that was stated in an email I received (10%) nor the 15% when I used the Micron Scan program. When I called customer service to see why it would not allow me to enter the code when I purchase the items I needed it just seemed I got a song and dance excuses, he seemed anxious to get me off the line and he wanted me to send an additional email with my info one it. I guess if I upgrade the remaining 20 laptops I will need to go elsewhere, very disappointing!

I wish I had seen some of these reviews before picking them as a company to trust
I used their tool to get some upgrade suggestions for my system. I decided to bulk up on my memory and dropped a good amount of money to fill my system.
I received the order, and began working with my system. I could not get this working for the life of me.
-updated bios
-cleared cmos
-tried all sorts of variations with the media.
After hours of fiddling and my own research , i saw what they sent me wasn’t compatible and sent them details. I wrote to them inquiring on a return , stating I could not get it to work with my system. My old memory functioned fine so rolled back to that. What they sent me wasn’t working.
They stated my package was indeed compatible and had I tried troubleshooting. I could tell I was dealing with first level off shore support so I humored them stating the above. It takes a full day for any correspondence to come back so it’s extremely slow.
All of a sudden a get a rma request for a replacement with no explanation. I inquire on next steps as I don’t want to go through the same , and how can they guarantee this will not be an issue again.
They come back and state they sent the wrong product, and all of the memory would have needed to be manufactured together. The only way they could do this was send a 4pc instead of 2 separate packs. Obviously their error.
Continuing the process I then had to send pictures , copies of their invoices and other data. I begrudgingly did so, eventhough I purchased from their site with the email address I logged the order with. This was not a simple rma for their error
Instead of them sending me a return pack I had to send it on my dime. So now not only was I not being cared for the hours I put in on their error , I now had to pay for my own return, insurance and tracking. I was now paying more for their product. It would also take an additional 10 days to get the correction out. I sent them the tracking number and receipt on what I shelled out. They’re sorry for the inconvenience. Gee thanks.
I know the product reached them Tuesday morning. It’s now Wednesday evening. No word on acknowledging the return. I pushed another email out. Given the holiday, weekend and other time , who knows when I’ll get this
If you’re a good business, own your mistake and don’t make the consumer pay. If you are going to make me pay, throw me some credit or a discount to buy something else.
Don’t trust these sites on compatibility on face value. Verify with other sites and analysis.
Read reviews before working with a company. Check their return policies.
Fingers crossed what they send me actually does work, hoping the nightmare will not continue for too much longer.

TERRIBLE website and customer service. I've never left a bad review like this, ever, but it's the worst customer service I've experienced in my life.
Paypal auto-used a very old address of mine for some reason and stupid me, I didn't catch it. So realizing this 5 minutes after, I tried to change the address. I looked over the website for an hour trying to find a way to change the address. There is none.
Not to mention, the auto-chat bot that should have been able to help me couldn't find my order, even several hours after the order took place.
So the next morning I contact a live agent during their hours and they said my order was "too far along" to change the address or issue a refund. They probably won't ship it for days, but apparently they can't reverse it. Absurd.
If you happen to need to deal with customer service at Crucial.com, I feel very, very bad for you.

I ordered RAM from these guys, waited 10 days, found out it got sent to the wrong address. Called customer service they apparently "expedited" the order and resent. Been 24 hours and no confirmation number or tracking number on the FEDEX package, called again and was told that it was processed but being reviewed????. The worst delivery experience of my entire life. Now I am wondering if they are this incompetent, is the product I will put in my computer safe (if it ever arrives). Stay away from these jokers!
Update:
11/19/2024 after a new order was placed on 11/11/2024 the product is still not delivered, it is still in processing. I have no words for the logistical mess in this organization. If you are trying to run a business you absolutely cannot rely on them. STAY AWAY!

Great hardware products but Crucial Storage Exec is a terrible pice of software that has consistently given me problems when it comes to firmware upgrades to SSD's.
It has NEVER worked in many years ,for me anyway.
Today again a modern CT2000T500SSD8 drive has an upgrade but Storage Exec just fails (again) to do it's job.

Ordered memory and SSD well over ten days now and the UPS/USPS delivery service keeps pushing the date for delivery forward though where it was received in my city said"acceptance pending". Called support and they told me to wait till Friday then call if it doesn't come in. What do you know it doesn't show up and support is down for maintenance or whatever on Friday with no one answering phones. I'm totally disappointed with this transaction. Crucial had been around for a long time doing business. This is unacceptable.

Well here we are going on 10 days and still not delivered. Crucial uses mail innovations which is the worst service out there. They change the delivery date every day and now they say tomorrow by 7:00 pm. If it doesn't come then, its time to cancel. I would not recommend Crucial.com for anything. Worst service and impossible to speak with anyone. Although they say they have requested additional information, I have not received anything. Everyday they change the delivery date to the following day and have the audacity to update to say " on time " send me an email so I can respond with my details so that it will not be and " organic " complaint. I buy a lot online and get it delivered but crucial, you are the worst I have ever seen.

Easy to look up my laptop and find the memory that is 100% guaranteed to work!
I ordered new memory for my older computer system. The scan showed me the correct memory and now I have a 64 meg memory instead of 16. My system is much faster.
When installing I didn't press the chips in all the way and was getting a loud beep from my machine. With a phone call everything was corrected with perfect results.
Customer service was very professional.
Parts fit just perfectly, no issues at all. This is an old computer that got upgraded for less than $60, user is very happy.
Had a problem with a new ssd. Called and spoke with support and the lady asked a dew questions. She understood the problem and promptly sent me an RMA number and instructions for free shipping. Just got the new 2 TB ssd and installed it. Works great!
Awesome company and far cheaper than what is being listed on Apple.com, thanks again!
I ordered two 8GB sticks of ram to max out my laptop. When I put them in, the laptop would not boot. When I removed 1 stick, the laptop worked great. So I am happy my laptop went from 4GB to 8GB but I am sad I bought the extra stick. Is there any way to return it?
