Unrequested Contact from Cloud to Ground
Recently, I received an unsolicited email from Damien Bethell at Cloud to Ground regarding lightning protection services. While the importance of compliance and safety is well-recognised, the email was sent without my prior request or consent, making it an unwelcome intrusion.
The use of my personal contact information by Cloud to Ground for unsolicited marketing purposes is a matter of concern, especially when considering data protection and privacy regulations. I have no current need for the services advertised and have not engaged with the company in any form that would justify this contact.
It is imperative for Cloud to Ground to respect potential clients' privacy by ensuring their marketing practices are both ethical and compliant with data protection laws. I strongly advise them to obtain explicit consent before contacting individuals in the future.
