I bought a Cube E-bike in May 2025 from Tredz.co.uk through cycle2work scheme. The bike costed £2,449. In March 2026 (Less than a year and only after 193 miles) I found the chain snapped, got a... See more

I have a cube stereo one55…
I have a cube stereo one55 emountain bike only 5 rides on it & 104miles & cycling out of a valley UP HILL the seat post tube departed from the diagonal in other words snapped 😡 so I raised the issue with Tredz who took the issue with cube , cube said it was an external Force and not covered under warranty 😡 & Tredz don't want to now ,so I have a 4k bike that's worth nothing. But I could buy a new frame for 1.5 k +vat the way I have been treated is disgusting as it seems to be a manufacturing defect so I wouldn't recommend cube or Tredz to anyone.
Expensive Kathmandu hybrid e-bike
Expensive Kathmandu hybrid e-bike: sh*tty components, not as specified and not up to the job. There has to be an issue when the tyres and brake-pads outlast everything else on the bike apart from frame and Bosch electrics.
I’ve got two Cube bikes (Agree GTC SL
I’ve got two Cube bikes (Agree GTC SL, Nature Pro). Both very old but I will never change the brand. They are very, very good bikes for many, many km 🙂 and Cube support is very helpful too 🙂.

Bought my first e-bike in October 2024
Bought my first e-bike in October 2024, a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160. Been very happy with it and the customer service from any questions I’ve sent to them.
Back to Hibike for me - far superior to cube
Wouldn't ever buy a cube bike again. Had issue with brand new cube reaction electric bike. Seat post clamp not working - cube refused to cover this under warranty, this part only costs a couple of pounds so I doubt you would have an easy time claiming your warranty should the motor or battery fail. This bike scratches very easily and does not feel as though it gives much assistance on the flat. Motor is sluggish and gear changes clunky. I have had two previous Hibikes which were far smother better built and felt better quality. When I did have an issue with the motor on one of them it got replaced immediately. No more cube bikes for me I wish I had stuck with Hibike.
Cube Phenix Rookie SLX
Living in the UK and trying to source a Cube Rookie Mountain Bike for my son. I had difficulties obtaining but emailed Cube directly and they have been more than professional in ensuring that this is possible.
Wheels are in motion and hopefully the bike will arrive soon
Cannot thank Cube Customer Service enough, especially Ann-Kathrin and her help

Hi all iv got a cube ebike and I would say over all there a Excellent german bike but there is a bit of bubblering on some bit's of the paint work and to charge the batter you have to take it of the bike instead of charging on the bike because the flap were you plug it on the bike the flap cover might brakeif your Rough with it. But the bike shop were I purchased it from are very helpful and friendly And go out of their way to help you as much as they can And they already have helped me resolved any issue I give them ten out of ten for friendliness And doing everything they can.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I bought a Cube Reaction from a third party retailer and the rear wheel has a manufacturing defect - it leaks tyre sealant from the weld joint on the rim. The front wheel doesn’t do this, only the rear. Cube won’t settle the warranty claim, and have instead placed all the emphasis on me to take the tyre off again, buy and reapply tape, take more photos and send them back to them. All for a clear hole where the tape wouldn’t even be applied (the wheel was taped by Cube during manufacture and there isn’t any tape where the hole is). Utterly useless company and I wouldn’t buy another Cube bike.
Very happy owner of a Cube Compact
Very happy owner of a Cube Compact Hybrid. The bike has performed flawlessly in the first 2 years of service (approx. 5000km of commuting), no doubt the best bike I have owned of many bikes from different brands. I sent a question to Cube regarding service parts (I do my own service), and I got exactly the info I needed in express time, thank you very much, best service I have had from any manufacturer direct contact.

Purchase a £8,000 CUB bike
Purchased a £8,000 CUBE bike. Issue with part of the carbon fibre frame. Dropped my bike off at my dealer 10 weeks ago. The replacement part only avaialble through their warrenty proceedure arrived last week (9 weeks after claim made) from the cube factory which was more damaged than the part it was supposed to replace. A great big chip in the carbon fibre. Zero customer support and you can only raise issues/clainms through your dealer. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Buy a different make bike and save yourself the heart ache of spending so much money on a piece junk form a company that doen't care about it's customers. If anything happens to the bike you are screwed and at the very best will have to wait over 10 weeks for a replacement frame part.

Going around in circles with customer service for spares/specifications
UPDATE:
Finally I was pointed towards the CUBE web enquiry form which works!
Got the very comprehensive info I needed for the 2019 e-bike I have.
It would be a great improvement if the website had these ‘older’ manuals available, and a search by serial number function
****************
Unable to get any technical information to enable me to rebuild an E bike.
I go round in circles between your help (not Helpful) website and local agents.
Obviously, your agencies would much prefer me to take the bike into them and to spend a whole of the money for them to do it….
All I want is a user manual that can relate to the serial number that I’ve given to various cube agencies.
Please give me an email ID of someone who can help?

Really frustrating experience with Cube…
Really frustrating experience with Cube ordered my wife a bike as a surprise christmas present. I had no prior notice to explain the bike would be delivered today. My wife answered and the driver told her it was a bike. Really shocked at this experience. I was assured i would recieve prior notice of when the delivery date would be. Also the bike needs to be assembled so really dissapointed.
Bought a Cube Hybrid Stereo PRO 140 in…
Bought a Cube Hybrid Stereo PRO 140 in Bulgaria. The bike is amazing when it works, but the drivetrain (chain etc.) is way, way too weak and poor quality. It tends to actually destroy itself. I just had my bike at repair for this; absolutely *all* drivetrain parts replaced with new ones. Then 2 days later the chain ends up stuck and the motor pulls the chain in such a way that it bends and destroys the derailleur and more; it even bent the big front chain wheel. Insane... I've spent a lot of money on this thing....
Frame cracked after 3 years, no help from Cube
Frame has 6 year warranty and it cracked nearly in two after 3 years and 6000km. Cube denied warranty repair request saying damage was mechanical. Bike has only been road or flat trail ridden, with no accidents or crashes
Update: April 2025. Dealer agreed to replace frame but flexing from frame crack damaged motor mounting bolt holes on engine. New engine was required. Agreed with dealer to purchase slightly used demo engine model with 1 year guarntee. In the end I was satisfied with the result, and would leave a 3 or four star review, but it took 6 months of letter writing and phone calls to resolve.
Long wait and zero customer service
Bike ordered and confirmation email sent. Still no email indicating when the bike will be dispatched despite sending multiple emails requesting update. Once they have your money they just ignore all contact and actively avoid engaging with customers. If you are going to buy a cube bike, buy from a local bike shop as buying direct from cube leaves you feeling left high and dry. Can't comment on the quality of the bike as I still haven't received it.
Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support, no reply to my 3 emails and instagram message, I was read and ignored. Still without a bike nearly 3 weeks since ordered direct from Cube. Will never buy from them again
Avoid Cube bikes in UK - terrible customer support and poor quality products
Purchased a new Cube Attain GTX SLX Carbon in May 2024 from an authorised uk reseller. After less than 3 months of light road riding the bike has developed a crack in the carbon frame. I have contacted the retailer who supplied the bike (Buyabike UK) they have declined to take any responsibility pending advice from the manufacturer Cube. As of today still waiting for a response. Would not recommend this manufacturer as their customer support in UK seems to be zero.
Avoid at all costs
