Excellent Voyage Aboard Queen Elizabeth

We just completed a 6 week cruise aboard the Queen Elizabeth. We felt very pampered and taken care of. The food was excellent with a lot of choices. The gala evenings are fun give an elegant atmosphere to the ship. The entertainment was very good and the daily activities on sea days were fun and entertaining. Had a very memorable trip! Cunard is the best.

A memorable experience on Cunard, again!

Our Mediterranean cruise on the Queen Victoria was excellent. We had stops in Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Greece, including two days in Istanbul (we LOVED it!). Cunard does have a "smart attire" policy in the formal dining areas of the ship after 5:30 pm, but the buffet restaurant and other options are available if you prefer to wear jeans and t-shirts all the time. Wonderful service, great food, comfy beds and a classic interior design make it an experience to remember.

Cunard Won’t Issue Cabins

Waiting to go on Queen Victoria from Rome 1st June 2026 and we booked this cruise in June 25. Because of budget we booked their saver fare in an ocean view cabin. It is now less than 2 weeks off the cruise and Cunard refuse to give us a cabin number and I have been told it can be up to day before sailing for it to be issued which means we won’t be able to print luggage labels because we are having a few days elsewhere before boarding the ship. Contacted Cunard been told look at the T&Cs Cunard don’t have to allocate your cabin before 24hrs of sailing. Feel like a second class passenger bearing in mind booked this cruise nearly 12 months ago. Not impressed. Glenn Hitchen

An Exceptional Experience!

We really enjoyed our experience on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth while cruising from Seattle, WA to Alaska and Victoria, BC. The ship and balcony stateroom was beautiful and staff gracious and attentive to details. We especially appreciated the opportunities for ball room dancing and really appreciated having a dress code that was not over-done, but kept flip flops, shorts and tank tops out of the ball rooms and fine dining without having to wear stuffy neckties. The food was top notch, with lots of dining choices from casual (no dress code) to fine dining. The cost of cocktails and beverages on board were quite reasonable and considerably less than bars in most large metropolitan cities. Overall, our 10-day cruise was very relaxing and we were able to completely un-plug. While internet could be purchased on board, we did not miss it at all. There was plenty of 5G service at every one of the ports and there was lots of entertainment on board.

Excellent Holiday on Queen Victoria

We have just returned from our first cruise with Cunard on the Queen Victoria- Istanbul to Barcelona .
We had an amazing holiday - Queen Victoria had everything we could wish for. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after.
The choice and quality of food in all the restaurants was of very high standard and plentiful. Could not fault a single meal.
Our cabin was extremely comfortable and was well looked after by Jan. The entertainment, although served a purpose was a little disappointing in places in the evening and we missed seeing a West End type of show or performance in the Theatre in the evenings. The comedian William Caulfield put on a good show which we enjoyed.
The embarkation & disembarkation were both stress free and easy with lots of help if needed. Overall the staff on board Queen Victoria were all friendly and made us feel very welcome and special. All in all a fantastic holiday and we cannot wait for our next Cunard experience!

Great Scenic holiday

We have just returned from our first cruise on Cunard Queen Anne - Southampton to the Norwegian Fjords. We had an amazing holiday - Queen Anne was clean and tidy and had everything we could wish for. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. A big thank you to Arnel in The Golden Lion Pub for making us feel very welcome and for delivering fantastic customer care. The choice and quality of food was of very high standard and plentiful. Our cabin was extremely comfortable and was well looked after by Jason. Traditional cruising and traditional values

Steeped in tradition and a luxury experience at a moderate price. Ships are beautiful. Service and food are good. Southampton to Southampton cruises are the crème de a crème. Queen Mary to New York is iconic.

A very pleasant cruise.

A very pleasant cruise on an excellent ship. The food was really good and the staff were helpful.
I can't understand why Cunard "Hasn’t replied to negative reviews". They would have nothing to fear from them, IMO.

Oh dear Cunard

Oh dear Cunard. I had expected so much better from your Customer Service. I called yesterday (16/05/26) late afternoon. I wished to discuss an existing booking for 28 November 26. Whilst the adviser was polite and tried to be helpful- she was not. I was given 2 different email addresses, neither of which exist - indeed the messages I sent to both were returned " postmaster @ carnival - undeliverable......". I was told that any queries would take 28 days to respond. Again this was incorrect. I finally located an email address from the internet which does not include the name "carnival" and appears to exist. There was an instant reply stating I would be contacted within 72 hours and I was given a reference of 576791173. We shall see....
Additionally, this adviser took both my land line number and that of my mobile and promised to call straight back after a discussion with her supervisor. I waited by both telephones for 2 hours. No return call was forthcoming.
I have drafted a letter marked for the attention of the legal department at Cunard Line - SO15 1ST- again sourced from the internet. It will be sent by recorded delivery tomorrow morning. Will I receive a timely reply? I am not hopeful.
The call yesterday was allegedly recorded for monitoring and training purposes! I urge Cunard to listen to it for verification of the above. I have avoided naming the lady adviser for obvious reasons.

My first Trans-Atlantic cruise - wonderful

My first Trans-Atlantic cruise and it lived up to high expectations The friendly and courteous staff and crew with a complete focus on providing an excellent holiday made the experience one we will remember If I were to sum it up in a few words - “high end, friendly comfortable experience” Well done Cunard and thank you to the Queen Mary II and their excellent crew.

This cruise exceeded my expectations!

Before entering the ship, I was anxious about what the bed would be like, but it was firm, yet soft enough with comfy pillows and cover. We slept well. On our overseas flight to the cruise we could only take 8 kilos with restricted liquids, so I was pleased to see liquid soap, shampoo and body lotion in our bathroom, which was daily refilled! Down the hall was a launderette with high-quality Electrolux washers, laundry soap, and dryers, so we didn't need a lot of clothes. The rangers on board helped us to learn about the areas we traveled through and where to spot wildlife. Our cruise together was a memoriable experience. The Queen Elisabeth is a luxurious, beautiful ship!

We recently sailed on Cunard’s Queen Anne

We recently sailed on Cunard’s Queen Anne and overall had a positive experience, with some memorable highlights alongside a few disappointments.

Some of the very best parts of the voyage were the people. Our room steward was absolutely wonderful on both Cunard cruises we’ve taken — attentive, kind, professional, and one of the reasons the experience felt special. We also greatly enjoyed one of the onboard speakers, whose presentations were engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely enriching. In addition, the cocktail classes in the Admiral’s Lounge were a highlight of the trip. The bartenders leading the gin and rum cocktail sessions were exceptionally knowledgeable and talented, and we learned techniques we’ll actually use at home.

Dining was more mixed. TRAMONTO was excellent, with great wine, generous portions, and delicious food for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. Britannia service was generally good as well, although we had one very disappointing Gala evening where we sat unacknowledged for over 20 minutes with no menus, water, or service until I personally found a manager. While staff later attempted to compensate us with spa vouchers, the vouchers could only be applied toward expensive spa services, which did not feel especially meaningful.

Artisans Food Hall offered a lot of variety, and we appreciated Cunard’s hygiene-focused approach where guests are not directly serving themselves at the buffet. With so many cruise lines struggling with gastrointestinal outbreaks, this attention to cleanliness stood out positively to us. However, the food quality overall was somewhat uneven. Some items, especially breads and croissants, were excellent, while other dishes and desserts lacked flavor or refinement. The food hall layout also created significant crowding and bottlenecks that were difficult to navigate, especially for older or mobility-challenged guests. We also wished there had been at least simple snack options available between tea time and dinner service.

The biggest disappointment of the trip was the spa experience. One of us paid a high price for a pedicure that mainly consisted of a foot soak and toenail trimming, without many of the basic elements people generally expect from even a standard pedicure. The service did not feel like it justified the cost.

Overall, we still enjoyed our Cunard experience and there were many moments of classic elegance, professionalism, and warmth that reminded us why people continue to choose Cunard. At the same time, we do think some areas — particularly food quality consistency, crowd flow in Artisans, and the value offered in the spa — could be improved to better match the premium reputation and pricing associated with the brand.
One of the biggest differences we noticed between Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2 was in the overall feeling and flow of the public spaces. On Queen Anne, many of the lounges and seating areas felt less intimate or special because the ship’s design often makes those spaces double as major walkways between different sections of the ship. Instead of feeling tucked away or relaxing, many areas had a steady stream of passengers continually walking through them.

This was especially noticeable around the pool area, which seemed to function as a primary thoroughfare from one end of the ship to the other. As a result, some spaces felt busier and less elegant than we expected.

By comparison, Queen Mary 2 has a stronger sense of intimacy and separation within its public spaces. There are smaller bars, lounges, and quiet corners where guests can settle in, enjoy the architecture or ocean views, meet other travelers, and feel somewhat removed from the movement of the ship. That sense of escape and understated elegance is one of the things that makes Queen Mary 2 feel especially distinctive and luxurious.

We really enjoyed our first time with…

We really enjoyed our first time with Cunard and first transatlantic crossing. The only reason we went was because I’ve always wanted to sail on Queen Mary 2. She’s a beauty. She’s not the newest ship afloat or the biggest but in our minds she’s perfect. A few quirks here and there but that’s just another reason sailing on her is unique. My partner and I were actually sad to be leaving her this morning.
Still hopeful we’ll get on her again soon.

What an amazing experience

We just made the transatlantic crossing on Queen Mary 2 from New York to Southampton. What an amazing experience. Fantastic service from all staff on board, amazing food with plenty of choice. Lots of bars and lounges and plenty of activities during the day and evening entertainment. Was fabulous dressing up every night for dinner, especially for the two gala nights.

Elegance and Quality

Elegance, value for money, dedicated Cigar Lounge (we are cigar enthusiasts), food and dining quality and the feeling of being treated as special humans. Loved travelling with Cunard's QE to Alaska in May 2026. Absolutely delighted. Cheers.

Fantastic 8 days aboard Queen Mary 2…

Fantastic 8 days aboard Queen Mary 2 transatlantic from Southampton to New York. Food, drink, entertainment, the ship and crew all fantastic. Only downside was the ship rolled into NY at 3:30am making it a massive chore to get up and go and see the ship arrive past Lady Liberty.
