the worst app never i can never install mods that i wnat they dont work its putting me in normal minecraft use fetaher client itz better AND IT WORKS

I'm thankful for the support they provide whenever I need it—they don't stop until the issue is resolved. They're the best support team, and what they do for the community helps us enjoy those amazing mods.

I've been using CurseForge since 2019 to host several of my Minecraft mods. They are currently the largest Minecraft modding platform in the world. Their only real competitor in that space is Modrinth, so that's what I'll be comparing them against in this review. I know they also compete with platforms like NexusMods in other games, but I personally haven't used those so I can't say anything about that.

Pros:
- You can reach about 10x more Minecraft users on CurseForge than on Modrinth.
- The rules are much more relaxed than on Modrinth.
- They support other games too.

Cons:
- CurseForge doesn't pay nearly as much ad revenue per download as Modrinth does, though the overall amount is still higher due to the sheer number of users that CurseForge has.
- The website is not as easy to use as Modrinth. Some users will struggle to find specific versions of your mods. They are also in the middle of a redesign that seems to be taking forever.

There's not much anybody can say about CurseForge that hasn't been said before. A real quality-of-life programme to make one's gaming experience much easier and comfortable! And recently I had the pleasure to learn their customer experience is great too :)

Edit: After a longer period of use, I have to say that, even though it generally works great when you use just one version of a game, when you're using more (such as WoW Classic Cataclysm and Classic Vanilla), the programme can become so messy that you're better off just uninstalling it. When I started playing both expansions at once, the program only allowed me to browse addons for one of them, so I always had to manually download the updates for the other. However, the programme still constantly pestered me about out-of-date addons upon logging on. Customer support was incredibly nice but they never managed to help me, and the only thing that eventually worked was to directly uninstall and quit playing one of the expansions.

I had a minor problem with my profile, so i wrote a ticket. In just a few days it was resolved and the person from support was very nice and polite. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Avoid this platform at all costs. DO NOT DOWNLOAD OVERWOLF!! Ever since OverWolf got involved CurseForge will not stop making changes to my computer and hitting me with ads while I'm playing games it's actually insane. I got so frustrated that i just deleted every thing that had to do with Overwolf from my computer and soon learned Curseforge was apart of that so sorry curseforge, never again!

Refunded me my first purchase through ARK: Survival Ascended and the customer support responded to my message over the weekend. Once the refund goes through, I'm definitely going to spend that refund *and* extra on different items. Good customer support should always be rewarded.

Been a CurseForge customer for jeez 10 plus years. First they went to Twitch, now Overwolf, and I keep following because they never let me down. Writing this review since I recently had a issue, contacted Support and got an email that was not some canned BS, but, a real custom response. Issue was resolved in days and I am back to my game. Let's here it for Made in the USA!

curseforge is a great mod launcher not only for Minecraft but for other games to. Now one they to note is to know what mod works with other mods so the game doesn't crash while trying to launch so don't leave a crappy review because you didn't make sure that one mod works with one another

Doesn't even work.Ive tried to install the mimicer mod 7 times and it just won't work.very disappointing.

great app/platform for downloading and managing sims 4 cc and mods. found out from youtuber stephOsims, gave it a try and loved it! had some issues with my files due to onedrive and emailed support, very timely and fast replies that helped resolved the issue quickly! would love to see them work with more cc and mod creaters

When launching the Minecraft Launcher via the CurseForge Launcher,
I encountered a bug where the settings wouldn't save.
I submitted a support ticket, and within a few hours,
I received a reply. The response confirmed the bug, provided details about the fix, and informed me that it would be resolved in an update within a few days.

The email was clear, concise, and
incredibly professional.
I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional support provided.
Without a doubt, it's a 5-star experience!

They were very patient with regard to the matter in which I had come to them over when a mod had been removed for reasons. When asked what was the problem, they were very forward in telling me the reasons as to why, and offered a refund with the presenting of a receipt.

I had an issue with a change in the automatic file moderation process. Support kept me posted, and my problem was resolved within a week despite requiring code changes on the CurseForge side. Very impressed by the turnaround.
