The experience was wonderful, the possibility to understand better the diplomatic world and to interface with people from all over the world, indeed the organizers were always ready to help us and happy to stay with us

The organization could be improved in my opinion, other than this, it was a great experience that I was happy to have. Additionally, I would personally like to congratulate the chair, director, and assistant director of the WHO committee. They remained professional and in character, which helped us be more involved in our roles as well.

Everything was Amazing and well organised

It was a great experience with incredible people. Learning and Hearing different perspectives to increase knowledge is a great chance.

I applied for this and I felt it was just a waste of time.
the interview was so shady, in first place the username on skype given was a random username with bunch of random numbers which honestly doesn't look serious at all and doesn't seem to belong to a seriuos organization, I let it pass and attended the interview 10 minutes before just as they said just to waste my time and wait for them since they were like 20 minutes late (once again, a serious organization wouldn't do that) once the person reach me, she excused herself saying she tried to call me but she couldn't due internet problems so we were going to have the interview just on chat, once again, shady, but I let it pass because we all have had conection problems (but now thinking about it, a serious organization would reschedule the interview if they're truly wiling to give you an scholarship) . She asked like 5 simple questions and I replied, I felt I did pretty bad but still in a few hours I got an email saying I got the scholarship, it was like 10:30 pm for them when they contact me with that email, but turns out we all get the same email, I started reading the conditions just to find out I had to pay like 250 euros, plus the schoolar ship they offer is just to cover part of something you have to pay PLUS they do allow you a hotel but with shared beds (? I decided to unsuscribe to get the emails and blocked them on whatsapp.
A seriuos and not scam organization wouls be clear since the begining with the fees you have to pay, would be more serious in the interviews cause at least they would let you see a face of who is talking to you, they wouldn't rush and pressure you to pay if there's something to pay.
Hopefully more people see this before aplying and don't waste their time.

I was going to attend the CWMUN conference in New York City in September 2021, but due to covid, the conference was postponed. Due to exams, I could not attend the MUN on the new dates, so I requested a refund for my money. However, still today, in March 2023, I am fighting to get my money back. I have even made a police report and will not give up before I have my money back. This organization is befooling students with vast amounts of money. Do yourself a favor, and do not join them. There are lots of better and trustworthy MUNs that are legit.

Overrated and overpriced experience and poorly organized. Stuff is unfriendly, the experience has been nearly at an amateur level in terms of immersion and being in character. The online courses supposed to prepare you for the experience barely cover the basics and are paid A LOT for what they deliver (like €400). I wouldn't recommend the experience. Look elsewhere, trust all the people on trustpilot who will tell you the same.

We just got back from CWMUN Rome. We had the best time of our lives. The staff was friendly, young and the whole experience was something I will never forget. I want to go to CWMUN NY next

I don't know what happened at the CWMUN session in NY in 2022, a lot of the criticism we read refers to that specific experience, but we attended the 2022 session in Rome and the UAE and they were two enriching and thoroughly satisfying experiences. Of course, there is always room for improvement. For example, the trip to Abu Dhabi lasted almost a whole day, with a four-hour stopover in Turkey, and we arrived at the hotel late at night and then rushed, after a few hours' sleep, to attend the first day of work. We carried the fatigue with us through all the work and I would certainly advise the organisers to avoid this unnecessary stress for the delegates and use direct flights.
But the experience within the committees, the debates, the seriousness required in general in the simulations are masterful and represent an important moment of growth and exchange for us young people. The staff were very present for us and welcoming and it is clear that they are largely made up of Italians, the organisation being Italian. But we absolutely rule out any form of favouritism or elitism.
The cost is high and it is not easy for everyone to participate, not even for us. We received a scholarship and worked to obtain funding on crowdfunding platforms because it was important, after the Roman experience, to participate in a second session as well. And we were not disappointed; on the contrary, we are coming back happy and enriched by a unique experience.
We are sorry for the mishaps that happened to other participants, but we cannot subscribe to them and we are keen to rebut them with our personal experience.

I participated in the CWMUN on the 28th - 30th of October 2022 in Abu Dhabi, it was an amazing experience I would definitely suggest.
Sadly I read comments of what people have faced, shortly, I didn’t face any problems of any kind, every single thing was perfectly coordinated and the staff is very nice and helpful.
Don’t hesitate to participate and communicate your concerns to the staff and they will help.
The diversity and the delegates are amazing, the topics and the sessions are interesting and enriching.
On the closing ceremony the hall was going to explode from clapping, and many said it was a life changing experience, sadly they didn’t have enough time to her the deep thanks and happy experiences of everyone who wanted to talk.
It didn’t happen to me to run by someone who had troubles.
Ps: I’m an international student and registered by myself not with any organization.

I have read everything and the truth is that you want to discredit CWMUN I am Venezuelan, I thought that Venezuelans were the only conformists and self-conscious. Gentlemen, CWMUN is not a scam, it is real, it is a great opportunity to grow as a global professional and student. it has opened up opportunities THAT NO OTHER MODEL OF THE UNITED NATIONS HAS MADE. If we must pay 875 euros, it will be for something. Let's stop discrediting, let's better organize our trips.

What an incredible opportunity to be interviewed by Miss Clara ,the interview took roughly 3-4 minutes but it was worth trying .I hope I'll get to experience the best time of my life at NYU this year in October.The interview questions were really good and answers were flowing.I honest would love to be interviewed again.

The lessons and the Virtual MUN before the trip to NYC were really very useful.
Speaking of the price, I paid 1775 Euros for the plus package (more comfortable with the flight included and a few free days for the city), but also the extra prices for IVA and airport taxes, so almost 2500 Euros (but already on the contract it says + 22% IVA).
Despite the total price, the experience is definitely worth doing, make a resume, meet people from all over the world and know things that will really help you in life. I recommend everyone to have this experience :)"

If I could give them a -272736 I would definitely do so!
1- the conference is at a hotel and not at the Un headquarter as advertised by them
2- you will have to share the BED with strangers
3- The chairmen are not well prepared and incapable of organizing a decent committee session
4- lots of things have been stolen ( I have been robbed and the association refused to give me some support! )
5- overpriced !!! There are other legit associations that offer a much better experience for less
6-unfriendly staff
7-lots of omissions and lies

The best experience of my life. The closing ceremony took place in General Assembly of United Nations headquarters. It was wonderful conference in NYC. Thank you again to Change the World organization.

Everyone here is right, it's a scam.
Before I applied I was like 'oh yeah let's go this is linked to the UN I'll learn so much and it will be so good'. Then I read these comments and thought 'nah I'm sure it's not that bad everyone's just having a sook' but I literally went through the whole hassle of the NY2022 conference. Don't do it. Seriously. Don't. I went through VISA to get my money back and they approved it and said it was a scam too.

I first found out about them on an Instagram ad. They seemed legit at first. I did some research, and I didn’t see any red flags at the moment. I saw that people actually attended the conference. After “interviewing” with them, I signed up to participate in the conference in NY. They were unprofessional and their communication was trash from the beginning. After learning that they were putting 4 people in a hotel room for the conference, I decided I wasn’t going to go. I’m not paying all this money to attend a conference not to get my own room, during covid. Since I paid for
the insurance, I was expected a full refund. After they told me that I would receive my full refund, I never received it. They stopped answering my emails and chats, so I had to file a claim with my bank for fraud. Fortunately, they reimbursed me, but please avoid this “organization”. They steal money from people. I hope they get shut down!

Systematic scam.
They pretend they are a well reputated organisation but instead they lure international students into giving them money. They will not deliver. They will not pay you back.

Even their glorious leader, Claudio Corbino, will just threaten you with lawyers (without any legal basis) and duck responsibility if you ask him why they systematically do this to students.

There are hundreds of others. At this point I'd say they're a criminal scam organisation abusing the name of the UN.

Do not trust them.

Awful experience, was forced to wait in line for 4 hours for a check in where they made us pay 10 additional dollars for each bag (no matter the size) saying it was hotel policy, which was a lie since some of us decided to stay there the night prior and no one said anything. Then we arrive to a 2 bedroom room, and people start to come in until you realise you are forced to share your BED with someone you do not know. 4 people sharing 2 beds!! And then the organisation keep putting medals on themselves saying “we excel at maintaining COVID rules”.

Lies, lack of respect towards the people and fraud overall. The same trip, the way they organised it would have been 250£ instead of 1250£ that they charged… just so you know before you come, all you do is pay for their vacation!
