Cygnus music is the best distributor ever but for no reason they asked me for proof of my music. They said they would review the evidence within 7 working days but nothing has happened yet and I want it reviewed as soon as possible. The company I normally get very friendly and quick responses from is now not responding to my emails.

Cygnus Music are the best in the industry, especially if you release DnB & Jungle. Dan Callide, Lewis, Lee and the rest of the support team are always on hand to explain things clearly and walk you through things but they are not yes men/ people pleasers who tell the client what they want to hear, they will be honest and look out for your business, patiently explaining when you might have misunderstood something.

Not only have they handled all of our Grand Theft Audio business beautifully for an entire decade now, but when my friend Wiggo committed suicide and we set up a second label to release a charity album in his name, Cygnus helped us every step of the way, including lowering their fees and helping pitch to stores despite their lower fees.

On top of that, across the years I’ve recommended dozens of new dnb labels to sign up with Cygnus Music as their distributor and all of them have been very happy with the service provided and the results. Conversely, as an artist (part of DnB trio Sola), I’ve had the misfortune to have tracks out on labels distributed by some of Cygnus’ main competitors who have been dismal at sorting out problems and mistakes in the release. One very large distributor beginning with T took 4 months and 13 emails to stop another artist claiming one of our EPs on streaming platforms. Cygnus on the other hand typically sorts out any problems within 24h. Cannot recommend them enough!

I'm working with cygnusmusic and I've started my own label. But with success, there's some problem which comes in our way. I've started a label and I with my artist friends make cover songs and I didn't know the stores don't pay fees to owners for cover songs. I researched on google and there were a lot of articles which said some stores pay cover songs fees on their own. I made cover songs and remixed them because it was trending. But now because of fake reports my account is frozen. I still trust my career and the company I'm working with. My royalties are on hold and I am ready if they want to takedown some of my songs from stores and still pay me royalties because there are other songs which I made the same way getting no problem and are still live. I just want Cygnus team to understand and help me because I don't have project files saved.

I have been working with them since May. They were artist friendly and they helped me with everything. But yesterday, for an unknown reason, they removed my artist's song. They didn't even check if the appeal was fake and froze my account. I recommended 6 more artist friends to them and they signed agreements with all of them. I've done my best to help, but it's not nice for them to do so after a vague complaint. It's a super digital distributor for support, but since May, they froze my account after a fake complaint they "didn't even mention" instead of the artist they worked with.

Been with these for the best part of 10 years and I gave them my patience as they were mistakes along the way which I had to follow up. Corrupted uploads and release dates were missed. Suddenly getting an email out of the blue saying they no long want you due to wanting to re-releasing re-mastered content which is normal as times change.

Although there were mistakes in the past I still recommended Cygnus to people alike, now I won't bother and I'll find a distributor and team that cares about their customers and not just the profits.

Cygnus have assisted in moving my record label's entire back catalogue, whilst keeping streaming stats, from a provider who have caused us unending problems and headaches, to a helpful, easy to use platform.

I won't go too far into all the problems we had, but the problems and reasons for the problems we had with our previous provider just didn't seem to exist at all with Cygnus, and they were happy to immediately assist us with everything we had asked the previous provider, to no avail.

We will now be able to expand our record label in the way that we want to with the assistance and guidance of a very professional and well renowned distributor.

I am confident in Cygnus and am looking forward to the rest of our business relationship

Absolute worst service. Technical errors every step of the way. Lies to keep you with them. Other companies offer better service at a much less price.

From the wav form being 100% correct, but not uploading on the server, to press releases not mailed to shops, to deadlines missed, to being mislead to stay with them in the first place. I don't think I received a single smart link this year without having to email them asking where it is.

You are the BEST! Everybody other can go to REST! Thanx for everything that you do for as!

I've dealt with Cygnus on a number of album projects and some. 2 of my own solo albums and on the We Gotcha fundraising album which was a huge project and they are always reliable and easy to work with. Good communication, Professional, Understanding and reliable and a bunch of nice guys too. Great work :)
