Great in store and Online service
Both the service at the store and the service from Kevin over the phone regarding online orders were very helpful. Kevin was kind and patient. Kristian, who also helped, was super nice. Assembling of Principia bike was done badly
1. Front GRX 400 derailleur. The backup plate was not installed. Instead the support bolt directly touched the bike's frame, leaving a scratch on it and damaging the frame. I suppose that damage is not significant, but it is a new bike, and this is clearly specified in the Shimano manual that you SHOULDN'T SCREW BOLT INTO FRAME. Due to an incorrect setup, the chain guide outer plate was not parallel to the largest chainring, and as a result, the chain scratched on the chain guide even in the middle positions of the rear derailleur.
2. Rear GRX 400 derailleur. On some of the gears close to the middle of the cassette, the rear derailer squeaked loudly, similar to the sound of a fork scratching a plate, i.e., not like the typical scratching of a chain against the front chain guide. The cable adjustment barrel was completely unscrewed and bounced on the cable, so the tension cannot be adjusted without readjusting the rear derailer itself. I suppose a mechanic tried to set up the derailleur's position by the cable barrel and unscrewed it entirely, but instead of fixing the mistake, they left it as is.
I spent much time reading manuals, identifying issues, and trying to readjust the rear and front derailleur. I mostly solved the problem with the rear derailleur; however, the front derailleur just can't be parallel due to important parts being forgotten during the initial assembly, which drives me nuts.
I'm disappointed by the quality of the assembly. Even if the transmission had been positioned properly, the assembly was made so that you couldn't fine-tune it by the tension barrel and have to redo the work. It was made without thinking about how a customer would use this in the future.

The bike arrived on time 99% assembled. I just had to rotate the handlebar and tighten its screw. They were responsive to my demands and answered all my SMS and emails promptly.

They made me wait a week to tell me…
They made me wait a week to tell me that the bike was out of stock, I went to the store to buy the bike, they arranged for me to pick it up the following week and now this news comes to me. It's probably a lack of stock control and they sold my bike to someone else. I thought it was disrespectful, if it wasn't in stock it would take at most a day to find out and not a day before delivery(7 days later). I'll call them to resolve it, but they'll probably ask for another week for delivery, which I'm not willing to do. Waste of time, could have looked elsewhere with same day delivery.

Thank you for the offer and for trying to resolve the situation, there was no confusion on my side.
I called the number I received in the first SMS, on Friday at 10:30 AM asking about the problem, and the conversation was direct and without much explanation, "unfortunately we don't have it in stock". I asked if they couldn't sell the black one for the same price and again the answer was "unfortunately we can't.
- Your SMS was sent at 3:28 pm, but I only saw it yesterday (2024-08-06) after your call, even then I wouldn't have changed my mind, because of the conversation in the morning and because you would probably ask for another 5 working days for delivery of the new one.
Improvement feedback:
I understand that you are a Danish company, but the day I went to the store I noticed a lot of people speaking in English, I was served very well by the salesperson in English, but the customer service phone does not have this option.
I didn't want to continue the purchase, because I lost confidence and was afraid that I would have more problems, once again because of the way the customer service and all internal communication problems.

A technical error caused a misunderstanding that the bike needed to be brought in from our supplier, while it was actually in stock at our own external warehouse.
We sent you a polite SMS, offering the exact same bike in black at the same price, even though it wasn't on discount. However, we did not receive a response from you.
Four days later, we contacted you again to resolve the situation in the best way possible. You informed us that you had found a bike elsewhere, but you would have preferred the black one we offered. You thought our initial message was a mistake.
We always strive to assist our customers to the best of our ability, especially when we have made an error. Therefore, it is unfortunate to see that this situation resulted in a 1 out of 5-star rating for our store as a whole.
We hope to have the opportunity to assist you in the future.
