I bought five of those as Christmas gifts as they looked really good, making use of the BBC micro:bit with its strong presence in schools and abundance of support material. Since then I've had feedback from parents and I've had a play with one myself and it's a very affordable, well designed start to physical computing targeted at young children (maybe 7-12 depending on help?) but with a lot of possibilities for older ones and adults!
