Lovely material, l purchased brushed cotton in a mint colour covered in dogs. It's washed very well. Looking forward to making some pajamas

Having never used this company before I didn't know what to expect.. The fabrics were lovely, the price was affordable as I bought them in the sale and their customer service was spot on .
I ordered three lots of fabric and 2 spools of thread when I received my order I initially thought they had forgotten to pack my thread.
I unravelled two of the cloths and looked inside the package then emailed them.
They answered within a day to appologise and kindly asked if i had checked the folds of the fabric and that is where they are usually wrapped to keep them from getting lost.
I unravelled the last fabric and there they were!!
So I immediately apologised for not looking more thoroughly..I was also nice dealing with real people and not AI

Definitely my "go-to" place for fabric. Everything I've had from them is top quality and the service is prompt and efficient. And on top of all that, affordable prices! Great choice; I can almost always find something to fill the bill when I get an inspiration that needs a particular kind or colour of fabric.

Dalston Mill fabrics are always good quality and the sample offer and matching of thread are great extras. If a return is necessary, which is rare, this is easy and no questions are asked. I have just ordered some brushed cotton for a summer dressing gown and it's beautiful.

The service is great, fabrics are lovely, but would like to see chiffons, silks and appliqué laces more on the website please.

Brilliant company and so pleased to have discovered them. I had a problem with my very first order that was not their fault at all. Nevertheless the personal service I received when I contacted them could not have been better. I sometimes think it is when unfortunately something goes wrong that how a company responds is the best measure you can have. They were truly first class and all sorted in no time at all. I couldn’t be happier with the fabric and bits I purchased. The service and communications I had were excellent. Without doubt my go to place for fabric orders in future.

Absolutely first-class fabric supplier. Not only are the choice and quality of materials an Aladdin's Cave for people who REALLY know their fabrics, but their service is of the old-fashioned, courteous variety from people who are experts in the business. Excellent.

I don't normally go for lucky dip bundles, but was influenced by and reassured by the good reviews here to try one from Dalston Mill Fabrics - as people said they received reasonable/ good quality fabrics.

I did not unfortunately, I received a bundle of fabrics which I would not pay £1 a metre for anywhere. All cheap man-made thin fabrics, lots of weird coloured voile and odd weight stretchy stuff which I could not even describe. There is only one fabric good enough for use as a voile, and the rest is suitable only for textile recycling.

I understand the 'pot luck' aspects of a lucky dip, but this really is taking the Mickey.

I have literally just paid £24 to process the shop's waste.

I would not return to purchase anything at all as a result.

purchased 3 samples after which I ordered one piece of fabric. I realised,I would be away when it was delivered, so a hickory email later was assured my order would be delayed for a few days which it was. Excellent customer service! Beautiful fabric too at a good price.

I buy a lot of material from Dalston and I am always satisfied with my fabric choices. The delivery is quick, which is important to me as I am always ordering at the last minute. As I work on a budget the fabric bundles are amazing value. I have tried them all, and have not been disappointed with any of them. I will continue to purchase more of these. The denim is y favourite. 🤩
