I emailed the customer care team prior to purchase to ask a question about the boots I ordered as in width etc. unfortunately I didn’t have a response. I ordered the boots but unfortunately had to return, I felt the return cost was high as having to pay over £9 to return with postage and a handling fee. It’s put me off ordering anything else, which is a shame as the boots were lovely. It not wide enough.

Do not buy from this company
I bought a pair of Tred black leather Flatform Chelsea boots. The box the boots arrived in had a shabby home-made label on the top saying “Daniel”. Although the boots were my size, they did not stay on my feet when I wore them outside. Even with thicker socks and in-soles. I argued the boots weren’t fit for purpose. So I requested a refund. The company said it is a sizing issue. So refused a refund. I’ve returned the boots. Not cheap at £110. The company has yet to return the boots to me after 2 weeks. So I have no boots now and am £110 out of pocket. Awful customer service.

We’re sorry you feel this way and for the frustration this situation has caused.
We have received your recent email and have today requested an update from our warehouse regarding the return of your boots so we can clarify the current status for you as quickly as possible.
For transparency, when the boots were reviewed on return, the issue raised related to fit. Fit and personal comfort are not considered manufacturing defects. During assessment it was also noted that the boots had been worn outside, which had not initially been disclosed. As a result, they were no longer in a resellable condition and therefore did not qualify for a refund under our returns policy.
We would also like to clarify that at no point in the email correspondence was any issue reported regarding the box or packaging.
That said, we are following up internally to ensure the boots are returned to you promptly and will update you directly via email once we have confirmation from the warehouse.
