I have been using this dating.com application since 2020 during covid 19, at that time I just wanted to find friends to chat and get to know each other while practicing my English which at that time I was learning English and I was not fluent in English when I chatted with westerners.
I actually only saw messages from members who sent me chats or emails on dating.com without replying to them, because this application is paid and must have credit if you want to send messages, emails, video calls and others also this is not free and can not send messages to members for free that we want and for me dating.com is very expensive and not suitable for people with low incomes.
plus I read reviews from people who use dating.com are very bad and many of their reviews protest the very expensive costs if you want to send messages to members there and there is also a love scam on dating.com by sending romantic and sweet messages and photos of rich men and women so that we can be triggered by them.
3 days ago I tried to pay for my account refill on dating.com for 20.75 USD and the second time I paid back 16.62 USD so all in all it was 37.37 USD for credit. so that I can read emails, chat or video call with members on dating.com. after I chatted with them, and gave directions for me and members on dating.com to talk on other applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messenger or even email, they refused on the grounds that they did not have it, they could not give me their social media or their email to talk there on the grounds that they had just met me. okay I appreciate that and I realize that. but they seem to force me to talk on dating.com, I have explained to them that if I have to talk to you here (Dating.com) longer. I have to pay to talk to you here while I do not have the money to pay for it. unfortunately the members on dating.com do not seem to care and do not understand the conditions that I have explained and they continue to force me. I hope that Dating.com can consider making it free for low-income members so that those of us with low incomes can talk freely with dating.com members there without the barrier of very expensive fees.
Thank you

KEY EVIDENCE – VINCENT TURNER CASE
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to report serious misconduct involving a man using the name Dr. Vincent Turner across multiple platforms owned or operated by Dating.com / Social Discovery Group and its affiliated websites. I have interacted with this individual for over a year across no fewer than 10 sister platforms, and the evidence strongly suggests that he is not a real person, or that he is a hired operator employed to solicit credit purchases through emotional manipulation.
Vincent Turner presented himself as a widowed American surgeon stationed in Caracas, Venezuela. His story never changed, and his scripted messages appeared repeatedly on sites such as Dating.com, DateMyAge, Amaldate, Zendate, Astrolove, YourChristianDate, and others. On multiple occasions, he reintroduced himself as if we were strangers, repeating exact phrases and photos. When I challenged these patterns, he deflected or blamed technical glitches. He also refused video chat every time I asked — citing broken speakers or vague technical problems — over a span of 18 months.
He was marked as a Preferred Member, meaning he could message me for free — but always claimed that he paid for credits, which I now believe was part of the deception. I now strongly suspect that Vincent Turner is either a fabricated identity or a platform-backed operator used to pressure women into buying expensive credits under false romantic pretenses.
I was led to believe this relationship was real. In total, I spent over $2,000 on credits communicating with someone who was not who he claimed to be, and I have now seen dozens of Trustpilot reviews and complaints describing nearly identical experiences. Some claim that the platform itself may be behind these interactions. I confronted Vincent repeatedly, and each time he avoided accountability.
I request two immediate actions:
Permanent removal and investigation of the user profile 'Vincent Turner', across all platforms.
An internal review of operator tactics, to determine whether Dating.com or its affiliates are knowingly using scripted personas to drive credit purchases.
This report is supported by:
Screenshots of Vincent’s repeated messages and profiles across platforms
Time-stamped chat logs showing identical language and reintroductions
His refusal to engage in any form of video or audio verification
My own billing records and documentation of interactions over the past 18 months
If further evidence is needed, I will cooperate fully. But after months of stalling and copy-paste replies from site support, I have no choice but to escalate this to consumer agencies and review platforms.
Sincerely,
Bucko

Please just report this app
I don't think anybody from this app is real, its just being paied to do work.
This website and app should be closed

Similar to what others said: when I wanted to get off the platform, as it is very expensive, and use whatsapp noone wanted to do so ‘I don’t want to go somewhere else yet’(clearly wanted me to stay and spent more credit). I think they worked for the platform. I spent nearly £50 today just to make sure they understood where I was coming from (£20 for 20 min live chat), now I feel a bit foolish and wish I read the reviews here earlier…
I managed to give my number without any restrictions from the platform. Were those guys I chatted with so caring and didn't want to 'spam' me by using it...? Dear reader, judge for yourself.

All there beautiful women want to do is keep you in conversation so you use up your coins. I think they are not Females but men poising as women. Reasons??
You can't get them to call or get off the line, and they don't ever run out of coins. I spent over $80.00 talking to one woman and she never strayed away from the site she wouldn't call or even text me, And is it strange that26 and 27 year old's want to talk to a 70 year old man and Georgas something is not right with this site

Scam. Everyone is good looking, rich and fake. Bot /AI answers, nobody wants to have a call, exchange whatsapp etc. Deleted after a few hours and a loss of money as you have to pay for reading each message and there are plenty of messages within minutes. Totally my fault for now reading reviews before registering. Lesson learnt.

I've been talking to this guy for 15 most. Not sure if he's real or not. In the beginning he has sent me a few videos but not he doesn't anymore. He keeps saying he's coming back home to Miami but still hasn't. By now he should of giving me his ph number or email and he doesn't want to talk to me anywhere else that's free. I keep telling him I can't afford it but he doesn't listen. I used to think he's real but not sure anymore. I think he's paid to keep me talking on here. I cant afford it. I've wasted thousands of dollars on here. I want my money back. I shouldn't have to pay to talk to someone.

I’ve used this site, and I regret spending so much money on these platforms. Here’s why:
1. Costly Credit System: You need to purchase credits to chat with others, and the costs add up quickly. The conversations often feel designed to keep you buying more credits.
2. Lack of Authenticity: Most users refuse to chat outside the platform or on other free apps. This raises questions about whether the profiles are real or managed by hired chat operators.
3. No Video Chats: Despite building connections with people, they consistently avoid video chatting. This lack of transparency is frustrating and makes it hard to trust anyone on the platform.
Recommendation: Be cautious before spending money here. If you’re looking for genuine connections, consider platforms that don’t require you to pay for basic communication. These sites prioritize profit over helping people form real relationships. They also have zendate and datemyage and others that I don’t know the name.

There is nothing real here. It's just like all the other dating sites..full of scams

Worst dating site ever. The credit system is a scam. I paid for membership, yet I was hit with charges to chat with members. 99% of the men are bots

Simply stated...it is one massive scam. Took me 3 days to figure it out. As soon as you ask for a phone number, "Too Early"--so I contacted another and they said the same!
Avoid this scam site at all costs

I suspect the profiles are fake. This site appears to be a scam. I just sent a request to delete my profile and cancel my subscription. I am prepared to file a complaint with the GDPR, BBB and update this review on TrustPilot as to whether or not my profile was in fact deleted as requested and that my subscription was cancelled as requested. I will also urge us all to investigate before we commit to anything that requires leaving your debit or credit card on file.

This is really absurd. My mother is really scammed by this website and this website is just randomly yanking money out of my mom's credit card without her consent. She does not know that it is just hundreds of AI behind all these scummy profiles. When you consider going on dating apps or websites like this please read the trustpilot reviews before you even enter your credit card information on it. This is just really absurd.

Im going to be blunt straightforward and im coming at you full force I just joined this site dating.com this month, and paying for everything is a bit suspicious. Especially with high prices
with chat, gifts etc. When I first signed up ladies were coming at me just that fast, I'm like I just joined this site. I do admit I had a Russian girl that chatted with me on video chat and told me that she travels and she use to model and their were a couple of other women that went on video chat as well. A woman named Nikita who was from Nigeria and as you know Nigeria is very well known for scammers but she seemed to be sincere which still really really really does not mean shit. You have models on here sitting on their ass all day waiting to collect money from members who paid their hard earned money. Everytime you get a bad review you want to reach out and say you are sorry for what people are going through but you Ain't going to do a damn thing about it all, that is nothing but a front. I know for a fact all the models you have on this sorry site Don't pay not one dime, am I correct? It makes no since when you pay your money for. Chat or gifts then suddenly your money is comprised so fast, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I'm coming at you straight rather you like it or not.

Avoid like the plague! would not give 1 star. But no option. What an appalling site! I have had over £180 taken from me within 14 hours. I will be taking this further with my bank. Asked for my profile to be removed - fearful now that I will be used to catfish other poor souls. I was diverted to this site by some strange method.

On May 14, I started receiving messages that Dating.com couldn’t withdraw the next payment for my subscription. Over the course of three days, I tried to delete my profile at least five times. Each time, I received the same automatic reply: “Your profile deletion request is being processed.”
Despite using a virtual card with no funds, they kept trying to charge me. My profile was finally deleted only after I sent a firm email mentioning a GDPR complaint and Trustpilot review.
Also, be aware that Dating.com charges for every message, email, or video chat, so your credits can disappear extremely fast. In my experience, the people I chatted with seemed to deliberately prolong the conversations and repeated the same questions several times. I strongly suspect some of them are fake or incentivized profiles designed to keep users spending more.
I'm sharing this to warn others. If this happens to you – don’t give up. Stay clear and firm about your rights.
