My Go-To Domestic Appliance supplier
I used David Wood Appliances a few years back to repair a defective appliance. The customer service and quality of work was so good, that they became my go-to supplier for my ageing washing machine that finally gave up the will to live last week.
The plumbing in the house had been undertaken by the previous owners - keen DIY enthusiasts but not actually possessing any DIY skills. Most contractors will tell you that the worst jobs are the ones they have to go to after someone else has bodged it and although this was probably a classic example, the engineers sorted a suitable solution that was pragmatic, functional and tidy without causing a fuss.
We were in the middle of a lockdown and the engineers observed all the requisite COVID-19 requirements.
I was waiting to see if they were still as good as my first encounter and I can confirm they were; which is perfect timing as my fridge freezer decided to pack up too the day before they arrived. I have now ordered a replacement for that.
It's been an expensive month, but at least with these consummate professionals, it'll be money well spent.
