Daybreak games handling of THJ was epicly bad. But now you are reboxing it and selling it as Everquest Legends? Really sad to see how this was handled.

Award for most ridiculous game development of the century

H1z1 is a really fun and great concept, but way to many bugs and glitches which takes them forever to fix
Been playing since release and the game sure has Improved a lot. But there is still a LONG way to go. Haven't even fixed the two most important factors of a FPS game.

HIT REG WORKING 100% LIKE IT SHOULD.

DESYNC AND PINLOCK. SO PLAYERS HAVE A STABIL CONNECTION TO THE GAME SERVERS AND WE AS EU PLAYERS DONT GET NA OR ASIAN PLAYERS ON OUR SERVERS WITH 100 + ms....

So all in all.
Fun and great game, but most ridiculous and S-H-I-T-T-Y developer team and management...
Consider the game like cancer in gaming world. Worst of its kind and a gamer killer which needs to be fixed.
Only way to save this game from death is by building it all over again on a new game engine and with a new crew who actually has some decent game designing experince and knows what they are doing when doing graphics and codeing instead of some acne scared intern who dropped out of school...

GAME CANT BE SAFED WITH THOSE R-E-T-A-R-D-S BEHIND THE WHEEL. JUST QUIT THE GAME AND YOUR BUSINESS. BECAUSE DAYBREAK AND H1Z1 IS NEVER COMING BACK EVER. WORST GAME COMPANY IN HISTORY!

Don't play their games or give them any…

Don't play their games or give them any money at all! I'll explain why...

As if the rest of the complaints on this site, the reviews, and all of the negative comments about them on the Everquest forums isn't enough, my story will just put the icing on the cake for you.

I am a player who's been loyal to Everquest since 1999. I never had trouble, never had complaints, and loved the game as much as a person could. Then Daybreak took over...

A few months ago I joined the top guild on my server and learned that the other top guild commonly trolls them (gives them a hard time). One day out of the blue, some guy starts stalking me by posting on my personal youtube channel, my personal website, my guild website, and in the game. He went as far as to take a video of mine from my youtube channel and cut my voice out of it to use as a sound that plays when you visit his magelo profile (magelo is a website that displays your character in the game and all of its belongings). He also created his own guild in the game using my youtube channel name as well as named his pet after me.

I informed my guild leaders about it and they verified through his IP address that he was a former member that was kicked out of the guild, but they refused to tell me who he was. Basically protected the identity of a stalker. I went through a lot to find out his identity on my own, and when I finally did, I took the matter to the guild leader of the guild that my stalkers main character is in, and I was met by a swift "I don't give a f***" and then was harassed by the leadership team of that guild via tracking me down to my own property and proceeding to take their pants off standing in front of me, knowing that I suffer from PTSD due to rape. Yes it is a game and no, their characters aren't actually naked, but the intent of what they did was there, and it sent me into a panic attack.

I reported the situation in great detail and provided screenshots of everything. Daybreak did absolutely nothing despite their VERY CLEAR rules on harassment. I personally think it is because of who the complaint was about. You take out the leaders of a top guild in the game and the guild crumbles and players flock elsewhere or leave the game entirely, thus causing money loss to the company. But that's just my opinion.

So since Daybreak did nothing, I had a big target painted on my head by the guild. And 1 person against a top guild basically means you'll never have fun playing the game again due to the level of harassment for trying to turn them in and do the right thing. So I had only 2 choices at that point, quit the game or change my name (which costs real money).

I opted to change my name since I've got so much time and money in the game, and completely erased everything that would tie my new name to my old one. But I recreated a character with my old name to prevent someone from taking it and being harassed by that guild in my place.

I spent a few days building new housing in the game in a new neighborhood, joined a new guild, and started enjoying the game again. But then Daybreak did a big game update and messed it up, so they did what's called a rollback that resets everything back to how it was before their update. And they chose a time to rollback to from BEFORE I did my name change and recreated my old name on another account.

Well, when they did that, their system tied all of my housing items back to my old name because they rolled back to a time before I changed my name. And since I had recreated my old name, it magically moved all of my items over to that account to my old name. So I reported it on July 24th, 2018 once I realized all my stuff was missing. It is now August 31st and my items have still not been restored. They restored a very small portion of them but not all of them, and I keep telling them there's more missing but it takes days to get a response from them. You would think that after a month, they would have my belongings restored.

Of those belongings, a large portion of them are items that were purchased with real money from their marketplace, epic weapons that take forever to obtain and can only be done once, rare items that require raids that no one does anymore, quested items that are non tradeable and very hard to obtain, more quested items that are only available once a year, claimed items from expansion purchases that you can only get once, and various other items that I have collected over the years since 1999. It's all gone...

As much as I love Everquest, Daybreak has ruined it and begun turning it into a "pay to win" game. Meaning if you don't spend real money on the game in addition to your membership, you're not gonna get as far. I cheer the day when Daybreak goes down. And hopefully they will sell Everquest to a company that will bring it back to its former glory, because Daybreak sucks at it.

So basically, you've got a company who takes no stand on sexual harassment, and VERY poor customer service. Do NOT spend any money on this company.

Suspended for evacuating on a harassing…

Suspended for evacuating on a harassing player. Submitted a petition to dispute the charge. I was suspended within 24 hours of the incident, now 5 days in to a 7 day suspension, still not 1 reply from DBG. No phone# either. Basically there is no customer service for paying customers.

Non-existent customer service

The company has shut themselves off of having to deal with customers except in typical circumstances like hacking investigation, issues with billing or purchasing their microtransaction, etc. But for general in-game things, they just give canned responses and then close the case. No tact that gives them even a nice outward-facing appearance at all. It's like they cut all of their CS agents and now the GM's just work on developer things. There's a well documented reason most devs suck with social interaction on a large level. If you're not going to change your policies to be more customer, and we ARE paying customers, friendly, then just don't have the option to request in-game problems.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs! I'll NEVER AGAIN play anything they host.

Customer service is non existent, Try submitting a support ticket sometime.. you'll understand fully. They give you a generic response (if you're lucky) and then you never hear from them again, Unless it concerns your ability to give them money. Any problems with game play are problems with your system, not theirs. even when several players have the same issue.
Try contacting Daybreak games from outside of a game... hahaha, good luck with that!
My experience beyond the worthless customer support, was the shutdown of a server without notice. This came after spending serious cash on a game ( I do believe in supporting the games I enjoy playing) and then one day, go to log on and the server is non-existent.
Ask for an explanation........ Crickets chirping...... no response.

This is BY FAR the worst gaming company I have ever had the frustration and displeasure to try to work with...

Short review;
This company sucks sweaty troll balls!

Daybreak games ....your company is …

Daybreak games ....your company is completely a crock of crap. My husband has been playing/mastering your game for over 17 years and has done it legally with nothing to hide. He invested in a computer for each character he plays. He follows rules and brings hundreds of people to your game honestly and without cheating. You banned all his characters. He hasn't even gotten out of bed since. You have utterly destroyed him and the only freaking reason you can give is that his characters have been banned due to terms of service. You are losing out on all he brought to your game. He has loyally only played Everquest for over 17 yrs. Has invested 100's upon 100's of hours into your game. He deserves a better explanation than the BS you responded with. You n your company suck. From reading through the comments..sure seems like you rip thousands of people off. I hope you sleep well at night because you have ruined my husband. You steal from people and scam people. Companies like you have a special place in hell.

I understand the ones who gave a bad review because they are not very responsive. BUT they are a small dev company that needs players help to survive and they hold really decent games.
