Not a showroom but it worked for me.

This is not a car showroom, its a yard rammed full of cars and a shed like office with a desk, sofa, and a lot of clutter. You can't browse the cars. If you know what you want and they have one then its a quick and easy way to buy a car. £100 (refundable) reserves the car. It was waiting at the gate, clean and with a new MoT, quick test drive, pay, drive away (via the local post office to do the change of ownership). Good Price.

Do not buy a car from Andrew!

This place is to be avoided. Andrew is a liar and is selling poor quality cars that have been patched up dangerously and badly. Told me the car had been serviced, even provided an invoice which on further investigation has clearly been falsified. Car had poorly sprayed panels and some very bad welding hidden away to cover some sort of damage, now of it declared. Photos provided before my visit were carefully taken to avoid all the bad areas. The guy is a classic example of the worst kind of used car salesman, avoid him at all costs and do not trust a word he says. If you are thinking of buying a silver Vauxhall combo life then walk away, it has been bodged back together with some poor welding!

AVOID

IF YOUR READING THIS AND CONSIDERING BUYING A CAR FROM HERE THEN PLEASE DONT! And read carefully...

We purchased a Land Rover Discovery Sport from Andrew in March 2024 .

9 days later engine light came on,! Andrew fobbed us off that it would be an oxygen sensor because the car had been stood. We then discovered a major oil leak, we had to bring the car to Manchester for his garage to fix and was given a courtesy car which was a banger.

Another two weeks later the engine light came back on, again was fobbed off by Andrew said "its just an attention light and my wife's car has been like this 6 month". This turned out to be an EGR valve. This had to be repaired.

Not long after the car broke down completely and had to be recovered. This is when i asked to reject the car which Andrew rejected on he basis id had the car 6 months. I was legally within my rights to reject it due to all the issues but he refused. Turned out the turbo had failed internally and needed a new twin turbo. This was a cost of over 3k! Thank goodness we took out a warranty, Andrew paid for issues to be fixed and reclaimed on the warranty we purchased with the car.

We have had the car just over a year now and still experiencing issues, a new timing chain is now required. Its not even done 60,0000 miles! And another repair to an internal pipe.

To add to it, we recently found out that the DPF Filter has been missing since we purchased the car which is ILLEGAL!

I'm currently seeking legal advice.

I really regret buying this car, i was put off on arrival to Discount Car Centre it looks more like a scrap yard than a forecourt , i had a gut feeling not to be buy from here which i stupidly ignored. This car was meant to be our dream family car but its turned into a nightmare! I urge you to read the bad reviews and avoid this place like the plague.

Sarcasm does not sell cars

Paid deposit. 18 month old car was not in showroom condition as promised. Car was dirty inside, hole in carpet, overspray on outside, badly scratched rear windows.
Once pointed out to the salesman he turned very sarcastic. We walked away in disgust and had to wait 4 weeks for deposit.

Great Used Car Dealership

My husband and I had been looking for used SUVs for a few weeks and Discount Car Centre kept popping up as a competitively-priced website to look at. Sure enough, we found a car which we were interested in. A £100 refundable deposit secures a car for 7 days. This dealership only offers appointment only viewings which we arranged. The car was ours as soon as we sat in it and went for a test drive.

Apart from the car, there were a few other things we were impressed by. Free drive-away insurance covers you to leave the forecourt, allowing time to organise your own insurance. A year’s MOT is also free. An extended warranty lasting a year is offered to purchase at a discounted price. Any bodywork issues will be dealt with free of charge and, lastly, AA cover for a year is free of charge.

If you are looking for good, honest, old-school car sales, with one to one service, look no further. If you are looking for a pristine sales showroom, a posh cup of coffee and pushy car salesmen, look elsewhere.

We would have no hesitation in purchasing from here again and you cannot say better than that.
