Winter weekender
My daughter had a fall and felt faint, she has a learning disability and the medics were very thorough, kind, patient and friendly. Thank you!

We run a large event in London with about 3,000 attendees onsite. We have used DC Event Medical for the last 3 years and have no hesitation in using them in the future. In fact, our "save the date" email to DC Event Medical is one of the very first that we write!
DC Event Medical and their equipment, expertise and presence is second to none. Incidents have always been dealt with perfectly, exceeding our expectations of onsite care.
Looking forward to a 4th year.
I did not previously have a trustpilot account and do not ever post reviews but having observed the medical provision at a recent cheerleading competition in Telford, I feel compelled to provide feedback on the standard of care delivered by the on-site event medical provider, DC Event Medical.
While the provider had established an impressive and well-equipped medical area situated to the rear of the arena, their visibility and engagement on the competition floor appeared to be markedly lacking. Despite numerous athletes sustaining injuries during their routines, there was no evidence of medical personnel proactively patrolling the event space or responding promptly to incidents as they occurred.
One particularly concerning incident involved an athlete who suffered a significant knee injury on the mat. In the absence of any medical staff in the immediate vicinity, an off-duty ambulance technician, attending as a spectator, was required to intervene and provide initial assistance to the visibly distressed athlete. The technician requested a wheelchair to assist in safely moving the patient; however, it took in excess of four minutes for a response to arrive. When a member of DC Event Medical eventually appeared with the requested equipment, their demeanour was notably disengaged, prioritising conversation with bystanders over the urgency of the situation.
The responder proceeded to transfer the athlete into the wheelchair without seeking any clinical handover or assessing the nature of the injury, before quickly wheeling her away. The process appeared mechanical, lacking any meaningful communication, reassurance, or clinical curiosity. It resembled more of a conveyor belt than the delivery of compassionate, patient-centred care.
In summary, whilst the infrastructure in place was commendable, the execution of care was deeply underwhelming. The apparent absence of dynamic risk management, poor visibility of clinical staff, and lack of timely, empathetic intervention painted a disappointing picture. This experience raises significant concerns regarding the operational effectiveness and patient safety ethos of this provider.

The school had a day visit from the Public Relations Officer, Nathan Strain. The children enjoyed his visit and learnt lots of information about First Aid. Nathan was polite and professional. We look forward to future visits!
I would like to say a big thank you to Damon and the whole team at DC Event Medical for their excellent work and support during our annual fireworks display. We look forward to teaming up with you at our future events. Thank You.
Thanks to the guys at DC Event Medical for their first class professionalism. They were perfect for our high action sporting event not only providing first aid but also with their additional skill in sports therapy which was perfect for our teams.
I sliced my hand open with a knife at a hockey event. Ann, Nathan and Damon were amazing and looked after me. Nathan cleaned my hand and wrapped it but unfortunately needed stitches so went to hospital. Thank you so much so lucky to have such amazing people working for our NHS. Hollie x
Thank you DC event medical for taping my daughter’s elbow before she performed at a cheerleading competition. Very knowledgeable and provided the tape, confidence and support before the competition.
Damon is an absolute angel! Supported us throughout our 22 mile walk snacks and first aid along the way! Would recommend DC Event Medical to everyone. Thank you!
Damon from DC Event Medical was amazing. He provided medical cover for a charity walk my firm was doing and provided second to none care to those who needed it through the event. He was incredibly prepared and had plotted meet points along the 22 mile walk to ensure there was assistance every 45 minutes roughly. Would highly recommend and will be using again for our next charity event.
