Dreadful over testosteroned bike fixer
Everything was fine, always a nice welcome. I found the area where I needed to get my punctured bike tyre repaired. I was helped by a chap who was trying to explain how they repair it and then big (I love myself) Anthony arrives in his big black t-shirt and tells me twice, doesn't ask but tells me to get out of the workshop, I said that his colleague was explaining stuff to me which he ignored & told me to leave the area. I got the bill to pay, paid it and came back to retrieve the tyre, Anthony escaped the area when he saw I returned to deal with someone else, maybe he's gay maybe hates women maybe hates English people, either way he's in the wrong job and I shall not go back to Decathlon Redon whilst he is still employed by you, a nice young chap helped me to retrieve my tire, unfortunately I didn't get his name
Very bad website
Good shop , but very very bad website for Android devices. Jumps up all the time, slow performance, inefficient... Losing lots of business because of it. Not professional.

They will not agree for refund after 1 week of purchase also. Unused shoes, I spent 4k and size did not fit. I went again within 7 days and they denied saying you have used them. I DID NOT!
By far the best value in the market
I have been a customer of Decathlon for multiple decades in France, Germany and Canada. Their products nearly match the top of the range for less than 50% of the price of big brands.
I use their products for climbing, running, trail running, camping, cycling, and skiing.
They should be the go-to for any sport or outdoor lovers!
Staff kindness and language skills
I purchased a headlamp. At home...the product appeared NOT to be in the box. i had to go back again to the shop in Arlet. First staff person: does not speak English. Security guy does and explains her my problem. She calls an assistent. She asks me again: what is your problem. I answer: I just explained to your collegues. She answers: but I was not there. I explain again....She then gets the shop supervisor. They look at the shelf...speak to each other...not to me. They change the product....and just hand it over to me. NOT ONE WORD OF APOLOGY or explanation how this could happen.
Your staff should be made aware that KINDNESS and RESPECT are great values in life. Also, the language skills of your staff should be drastically improved. FRANCE happens to be part of the EU-!
They dont honor their guarantees and customer service is a joke
While I did really like the surfboard I purchased, it did not hold up. I kept it out of direct sunlight and did not leave it in the car during hot weather, yet the soft-top bubbled up and the board ended up getting waterlogged after about 6-8 months of use. The product stated that it had a 2 year guarantee, but when I contacted them they said it would not cover either issue. Also it is a painstaking experience just to get a response from the customer service. They reply many days later if at all and they do not adequately communicate or address the issue you try to resolve.
Money thrown away
Surprisingly shop has no returns policy on all items e.g. shoes, that I have receiced today, and which I haven't neither worn nor unwrapped. Stay away or waste your money on this sketchy seller
They are the worst I have ever come across
They are the worst. When services lie, whole credibility of the company is lost, same is the case with decathlon customer care. They don't care about customers at all. will stall them till they get tired and give up.
Poor Product Quality; Even Poorer Customer Service
Bought short (training) swim fins from Decathlon, but one of them developed a tear after 14 months of use. The supposedly have a 2 year warranty but Decathlon rejected my claim asserting that the damage was due to "misuse or accident". I used them exactly what they were intended for, it is impossible that they were misused or damaged due to accident. Decathlon likely encourages staff to reject warranty claims at every opportunity and/or their staff have absolutely no idea about the product(s) they are adjudicating claims for
Worst experience ever I got when trying…
Worst experience ever I got when trying to send back a stand for my bike that I coudn't use after less then a week. The customer service said that it is not a good reason to send it back and that I should sell it on my own . This is shameful.
Unethical Practices
Decathlon sent me an email seeking reviews on products I had recently bought. I gave 2 positive and 3 negative reviews. They sent me an email saying that the negative review wont be published, and the positive one will be, not in so many words, but the choice of what to publish and what not, spoke louder than any words could. Selectively publishing reviews is a highly unethical practice, one that builds a false brand image. Shocking how far the company has fallen!
Very poor
Very poor! First it took ages for the payment to go through on their website. Second, the delivery planed within a few days is now indefinitely delayed....no update, no explanation

Shocking poor customer service
Some of the worste customer service I've seen in 25 years. I purchased a treadmill which fail and burned the circuit board and motor. I contact Decathlon and they said they would order the parts and ask if I would repair it myself, I was shocked. They said they would then send a repair person once the parts were shipped. I sent them an email on Friday saying the parts were arriving on Monday and they did not follow up. I then contacted them on tuesday and spoke with a helpful staff member that was shocked at the poor customer service. I was told the repair person, independent would contact me. They reached out at 18.00 and said if they would have known they would have come on Tuesday. Now the next possible appoitment is another week. I've given Decathlon until friday at 11 to repair or replace and if not I will dump the treadmill at their close store.
Ordered a Hockey Bag
Ordered a Hockey Bag to put my clothes in, going back home.
On the website it says they it will be delivered today but the package is not even at the carrier yet. Tried calling them but they work only between 10-13. Tried cancelling but they won't let me. They have taken the money, I have also paid for Express delivery, exactly today. In 2 hours I am leaving so I Guess I just spent 150 euros for nothing. Thank You and hope your franchise goes bankrupt.

I've ordered a vest and some little things like massage ball. Everything went smoothly excepy the delivery person didn't call me and just left the order at a pick up point, but it happens. In general, I like to spend time at the offline store
Two jackets feathers flying
I ordered two jackets. The synthetic jacket was discolored so it was returned immediately. The down jacket was worn for a few hours running errands and began losing feathers. Very disappointing given the numerous reviews online, YouTube, social media regaling us of the discount comparison to the power jackets on the market. Funny I can’t find a single person on social media who has had a similar experience. Is everyone a paid sponsor but me?

La boutique en ligne et la boutique de Foix, Ariege, sont incroyables. Le service à la clientèle est superbe, leur service de retour/échange est génial.
