Working as sales assistant at deichmann
Working here you will notice they care more about shoecare target rather than the employees and the shop itself etc. A LOT of pressure is applied when doing shoecare, of course everyone has their bad days but managers fail to understand that. When you don’t meet your specific target the manager can get annoyed and it makes you feel horrible, you give up very quickly. So not only are you feeling discouraged they are quiet understaffed which means you have to do a lot as well as taking care of shoecare target. A lot of the colleagues are very rude and selfish their focus was more on competition, impressing the manager by beating other employees. There was a lot of backchatting about each other not very professional. The store do offer staff discount which is 20% okay not really all that. I mean if you’re looking for a job desperately it’s okay to work here but you will struggle and required to do a lot. With breaks and being on time they are very strict but when it comes to completing your shift they don’t care about the time, if you’re 30 mins over do they care? No. Very little care for staffs I must say.

Poor customer Service Staines store
Poor customer service by Sales Assistant James. If the official closing time of the store is 17:30 they should shut the doors at 17:15 so no one will enter. We had a very bad experience by James and he was not sorry at all for his behaviour. If he would have told please don't enter as we won't attend anyone happily if it's store closing time we would have never entered the Store .
Due to his rude behaviour, in rush my sister fell down in the Store as there was a sign board fallen on the floor and she tripped over it instead of helping her to get up he started making bad faces, The Manager was over the phone talking to someone least bother of what all was happening in the store. When we went to her to complain about the bad behaviour she was like its OK Very poor quality of Customer care and service We buy from this store regularly and this is not what we expected from them..

Very rude and unprofessional store Manager at the Ilford (Echange Mall) site
The store manager was extremely rude, demanded we (my wife and I) put away the chair that was left beside the shoe rack. When we said we found it there, she, without apologising, demanded we get off the chair. This was whilst we were halfway trying on a pair of shoe for our 4 year old son. My wife and I was shocked at the lack of customer service from this store manager!!
After I told her the chair was already there, and that it isn't nice expecting customers to put away thing like thier chair, especially when it wasn't us that had moved it.
When I was having this discussion, the store manager abruptly cut the conversation without apologising and almost out of spite started taking to another customer. I absolutely appreciate the need to serve customers, but as I was a customer in the middle of a conversation, I expected a simple and courteous 'excuse me'.
She then ignored me and continued talking to this other customer. Once she finished talking to the other customer, she, with an unpleasant and hostile attitude, said, "feel free to complain". She emphasised the fact that she is the store manager" almost to mean, she is not the least bit bothered!
I was there shopping for my sons first school uniform and this incident ruined my entire day. I couldn't believe how dismissive and rude this person was.
I am a regular shopper at this store, but I will not be returning there any time soon.
Still can't believe how belittling she was.....

I went to the Warrington store on Tuesday and I would like to say how pleasant the assistant was. She was really cheerful and even my teenage Daughter (usually untalkative) got chatting with her! I am a regular customer of Deichmann ,even today I brought 2 pair of shoes..
Last year I brought a pair of sandal type of shoe but insole was keep coming out and I decided to put some glue under the insoles ,on left side under the insole I find like mobile phone aerial type of electronic device stick to insole ,I am not a mobile phone repair guy or or I never been this type of places ,so cant be stick under the insole while I own the shoe ..
Is Deichmann following our step ???
This days all companys doing something to get data from customers..
I post my local facebook to as other people if they find anything like this in their shoes.

Just had an argumentative manager at Deichmann in Crawley Uk.
She tells me that their company law supersedes UK law and if I want to return any goods purchased in store they must be in a box which I said I have no need for.
In my capacity as a lawyer I am familiar with my statuary rights however she was somewhat rude and dismissive therefore the sale was discontinued.
A very unpleasant shopping experience.
Avoid this company at all cost .

Wont be back
Hard to review a store when you're ignored by the staff in the Inverness outlet. Staff more interested in talking to each other rather than offer help. The shoes looked ok but as they couldn't be bothered with me or the other customers I left. Poor management and poor service

Turkey's Deichmann Terrible
I bought a pair of shoes 2 june. I wore only one day and it hurt my feet. My barefoot is flat and some shoes can hurt my feet. Deichmanns in Turkey only if shoes have a productional failure, I can exchange a new one or refund the purchase. And after examination they said there are no productional failure so we can't do anything. I think his is unfair. This is terrible.

The store ok
The store ok, but the cashiers should have some trainings " How to interact with the clients " . Seriously! Today the cashier laugh at me, because I was confused about card terminal and both of the cashiers made a joke with me front of other clients. My English is not so good and may be I was confused with the card terminal but doesn't mean they have to laugh at me. Consider that people go in the store to give their money, so not a good idea to laugh at them.

Dubious quality
Bought 2 pairs of kids school shoes from Torquay branch back in February. One pair fell apart after being worn once. I did get a refund which was fine. My sons shoes after 5 months have completely disintegrated, the soles have worn right through. The staff in the shop are helpful and friendly but the quality of the shoes are dreadful.

excellent service
Went into the Eastbourne store for the first time when desperately looking for work shoes and was very pleasantly surprised..
I found the exact type of shoe I was looking for but unfortunately not in my size, the sales assistant was extremely helpful and ordered me a pair to be sent to my home address even though they were in the sale!
I have received them and I’m extremely happy with them.
I will definitely be shopping there again

Very un-professional Store Manager at Camberley Store
I always buy shoes from Deichmann, I live in camberley, and buying shoes since this store is open. I bought 8 pair of shoes , two for myself, one for my husband, school shoes for my two kids, casual shoes for kids.
There is a store staff Hannah she always serve me very well, she was absent there, but the new store manager is not professional. Can’t even speak english. Its very recent incident date on 27/05/2019.
Next time i will go to Bracknell store if i need it.

I just wanted to write what a delight…
I just wanted to write what a delight it was to be served by Brogan at the Woolwich branch this evening not only was Brogan very helpful and friendly over the phone but in person too when I came in to collect my shoes which I had ordered and paid for in store a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately had misplaced the receipt.
Upon arrival Brogan remembered that I had called earlier in the day and when I came to collect my order Brogan served me quickly and also checked that my shoes were correct.
It is very rare nowadays to be assisted in this way so I wanted to write a positive review as I was very pleased with the service.

Terrible experience
Good afternoon,
I contact you because I have made an order some days ago and yesterday I was personally in a Deichmann store to return 3 pairs of shoes.
One member of your staff asked me to put my card in the machine and I supposed that it was to charge back the money I paid. What a suprise when I was at home checking my online Bank and I realised that the lady did not give me back the money but she just charged me once again for the shoes I returned in the shop...
Also I even don't know why she added £9.99 for another pair of shoes (size 40 EU) because I did not buy absolutely nothing there today! My size is 35 EU and my boyfriend's 42 EU.
Please be so kind to give me back my money for both charges you have made in my card, in total £63.15 and I have no items from you at all. It is just unbelievable, I have never had such a terrible experience in other stores.
I have already spent my money and my time (40 minutes by car and £5 charges to cross the Merseyside tunnels). If that lady was unable to do a simple return I am sure that she will struggle to understand and accepted her mistake.
