Ordered three Alstroemeria bare root…

Ordered three Alstroemeria bare root plants for £28, which arrived in good time but were minute, about an inch long. Nevertheless I planted in good faith assuming all would produce a plant, but all rotted in their pots.
Contacted the firm but have yet to hear from them. Avoid.

Simply the Best Bulbs

If you want quality, healthy and bulbs that never fail then de Jager should be your preferred supplier. Bulbs are an excellent size, well packaged in recyclable materials.I would not consider another supplier this will be my 5th year as a delighted customer. I have just placed my order for Spring 2026 for four different varieties. Confident that the results will impress all ( more particularly my wife) it's great to have something really exciting to look forward to in the garden, especially in the depths of winter on these cold grey days.

Exceptional service

I have used De Jager for many years in a professional capacity as a landscape gardener, and have never had any issues whatsoever. Always good quality bulbs with very few failures. This year ordered more than my usual amount, but issues with courier meant that they weren’t delivered to me as originally planned. This resulted in Jo going above and beyond the call of duty and organising a weekend delivery for me in time for me to do a planting scheme next week. Excellent service. Many thanks indeed. Charles. Complaining about unwanted postal…

Complaining about unwanted postal catalogues which I did not request
Also incorrect christian name! which dejager just assumed! unbelievable!
Have returned postal catalogues back to dejager with refused written , only for them to send another at a later date, the latest catalogue went straight in to the recycle bin
I've sent an email complaint, with no acknowledgement?
Totally ignored,
I've sent another email to them and this time awaiting a reply

Rip off

I ordered 3 "very special" Echinacea plants through QVC. The best one was a good seedling at best that had 2 leaves and a root. The next had 2 smaller leaves and a very tiny root and the third had no leaves no root and some loose compost. Total rip off.

I have just received a pack of 6…

I have just received a pack of 6 nemisia plug plants and had to report that they arrived dead, QVC gave me a refund, no problem there.
De Jager via QVC should contact customers to suggest delaying delivery during exceptionally hot weather, I have no doubt that the heat was to blame for the state of my plants. Also, I have to comment on the size of the rootballs on the plug plants, they were very small, not what I was expecting. Dissappointing!

Cannas, not top size as described

Cannas. They arrived very well packed, no damage in transport. However I was very disappointed with the size, these were described as top quality and top size, of the 8 that I received 1 measured 18cm the rest were between 5 - 8 cms. Perhaps this was due to the offer, if this was the case it would have been expedient to say these were smaller that the your normal top size. Kind Regards Susan Porter

Very deceitful company.

This company is very deceitful and do not send what is advertised on the website.

A year ago I ordered 6 cyclamen mirabile ‘album’. These are a white flowered cultivar of the mirabile species. I placed my order out of this plants flowering season so the plants were not in flower upon delivery. Nearly a year later the plants have flowered but are all pink. Upon contacting this company they informed me they were out of stock of the white variety so sent me pink instead without informing me.

I’ve not even received an apology even though this kind of trading behaviour is against the law!

Total let down

Brought 16 dwarf hollyhocks as a gift for my keen gardener husband from deJager when he was on QVC and his bazaar jacket, they arrived in a poor condition so we kept them in the greenhouse till they perked up ready for the garden but one by one they died we have 3 left , once the remainder started to grow the flowers were beautiful but the foliage was a total let down with rust spotting , then seeing deJager on QVC again selling these same hollyhocks the picture he was showing of red hollyhocks in a tub hadn't got one bit rust spot insite on the foliage so I did a bit of research and they are renowned for rust spot and there's absolutely no cure so it dose make you wonder if the photo he was showing had been photoshop touchedup ,we're down to 3 hollyhocks now and these are dieing so I've emailed them asking for help and advice I've had no reply not giving up I filled in a form from there website I received and email a few days later saying they would be intouch I'm still waiting I've totally waisted my money on purchasing these hollyhocks I may has well thrown my money in the rubbish bin , from now on I willnot purchase any plants from shopping channels anymore I've been to our local market got better healthier plants for less money and I can see EXACTLY what I'm buying QVC should find another company

Very bad service.

George at De Jager sells through QVC.
After ordering some foxgloves as soon as they came on screen and securing my order, I received an email 4 days later saying that the supplier, De Jager, would not be able to supply the plants.
This is not the first time I have been let down by De Jager when selling through QVC. QVC are not to blame as the plants are sent directly by De Jager.
They make a big deal about having a royal warrant but the ordinary customer does not get fair treatment. Very poor yet again.

De Jäger - trust them 100%

I only started gardening in 2018 and didn’t have any idea where to start. George and the team at De Jäger are incredibly helpful and the plants/bulbs I have ordered have always been phenomenal. I trust in De Jäger 100% and never hesitate in placing an order with them. De Jäger always exceed my expectations and highly recommend them. My personal favourite from De Jäger are the ‘Hyacinth bulbs’. Thank you again.

I placed an order in June 2021 as yet…

I placed an order in June 2021 as yet (December 2021) my order has not yet arrived. Emailed numerous times. Advised order was on it way. Recent emails have been ignored. I have even asked for a refund. Not very happy with the customer services at de Jäger.

ORDERED JAN PAID BUT STILL WAITING

well we ordered in early January paid for our order here we 2nd march no order yet,we phoned but the young lady suggested we where in too much of hurry ,could not tell us anything did not want to look up order number ? It all sounds a bit poor, if we don't get our paid for order in next 2 weeks we will demand a refund,yes these covid times are difficult but
De jager need to be far more attentive.one good thing it has fair prices .

Flower bulb order

Ordered several varieties of spring flowering bulbs plus one indoor flowering amaryllis. The outdoor bulbs were fine and performed as expected, but the amaryllis bulb, costing £15, arrived looking as if someone had taken a bite out of the bulb! Informed de Jager, who sent a replacement bulb, unfortunately of a different variety. Slightly disappointing.
