🚨 My Dell XPS nightmare 🚨
🚨 My Dell XPS nightmare 🚨
Laptop wouldn’t boot → Premium Support DK → onsite repair → electric shocks. Reported it, but they pushed me to keep using it. Got 3 more shocks. Blamed my “carpet static” (I don’t even own a carpet). #DellFail
Overheating (fire risk), screen damage on failed boots. 2nd repair: RAM downgrade (16→8 GB) + scratched display. Posted online → assigned tech who ghosted me after the welcome message. Shipping box arrived without label – they blamed ME.
Ignored escalations (8+ times), 4 reps, 1 month wasted. As a biotech student I can’t do my bachelor project – using a stack of paper instead. I’ve cried from the stress and from them calling me stupid. Dell doesn’t care.
Dell “won” – I finally agreed to send it to their workshop. Now they’ve changed pickup so I can’t drop it at a parcel shop anymore. I must stay home all day for pickup. I told them I study and work, they replied “that’s not our problem” and gave zero explanation.
Switching to MacBook. I will never recommend Dell or touch their products again.
You will regret buying Dell
Their "premium support" is essentially a bait-and-switch scam. I paid for premium support. Support requests often take several weeks, with many emails saying they "sincerely apologize," or never occur. I've emailed them, called them, talked on FB, filed BBB complaints, and other efforts, and they just keep saying they apologize without fixing the problem. Most recently, they told me to contact a different support number, which appears to be an automated number trying to sell medical products.
If I could give more stars I would.
So my ultrawide oled that I got from dells own site, sadly got burn ins and a few other issues. Not great, but sometimes products break.
However I wasnt expecting them, to instantly replace it. and I mean instantly, a few years after originally buying it.
I had a back and forth with a support guy, and two days later, a guy came by with a new monitor. Then I got an email saying they would like the old monitor back, and asked me what day they could pick it up.
Everything went easy, and without any issues.
Dell UltraSharp 32 4K Thunderbolt Hub…
Disappointed with Dell's Price Guarantee Claim
I recently purchased a high-end PC from Dell, excited about its promised performance and reliability. However, my experience with Dell's customer service has left me incredibly disappointed.
Firstly, shortly after my purchase, I noticed a significant drop in the price of the product, well beyond the 1000 kr. mark. This was particularly frustrating as Dell advertises a price guarantee on their website, assuring customers that they will match any lower price within a certain timeframe. Despite this claim, attempting to reach their customer care executive has been an exercise in futility.
The lack of responsiveness from their customer support team is unacceptable, especially considering the substantial amount of money I invested in their product. Not only does this disregard their own price guarantee policy, but it also reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.
In summary, while I initially had high hopes for my Dell purchase, the failure to honor their price guarantee claim and the inadequate customer support experience have left me deeply disappointed. I hope Dell takes steps to rectify these issues and regain the trust of their customers.
Worse service
Worse service ever. Just did not care to find a solution, I had to buy the part myself on ebay and watch youtube video to replace it. Useless.
Never again a Dell
Never again a Dell, the support do not exist, I have a 24/7 support plan, which is only open from 9 to 5 and then the support on their website is terible.
Defective from day one Zero help from Dell
My recent experience with Dell has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I ordered an Alien Ware Aurora 13 in June 2022, and it took over a month to be delivered. Upon arrival, I discovered that the graphics card was defective, which was incredibly frustrating given the product's high cost.
To add to the frustration, the liquid cooler began malfunctioning a month later, producing loud and distracting noises that were impossible to ignore. While I had opted for Dell's International Warranty due to my frequent travel, I did not purchase the Premium Warranty as the sales agent warned it may not provide coverage during my travels.
Despite my coverage under warranty, I have been attempting to resolve the issue with Dell for months to no avail. Numerous emails and phone calls to Dell Denmark, their partners in Cyprus, and the US and Ireland have resulted in no resolution. Not only has this cost me a fortune in phone bills, but I have also been informed by Dell that they will not replace the defective parts.
The situation is particularly concerning as I can afford to take the loss, but imagine a child saving up for months or even years to buy an Alienware PC and being met with such terrible support.
To make matters worse, I cannot find any contact information to file an official complaint with Dell leadership on their website. It is an unfortunate experience that has left me incredibly dissatisfied with Dell, and I will not be purchasing from them or recommending them to any of my clients in the future.
Don't buy Dell laptop
Dell laptop support don't work so my computer is getting slow and sometimes it does not work. Don't buy Dell computers
Another Dell Nightmare
Dear Dell,
I'm now 3 years into my Dell nightmare. It started when I, now seemingly against everyone on the internet's recommendation, bought a top of the line Dell laptop. This was in the US and a 6-core Latitude E5491. It turned out to have such a poorly designed cooling system that it throttles 99% of the time, making it virtually impossible to accomplish any normally suited tasks. Thankfully I found a workaround, albeit having to use only a fraction of the processor's capability.
Then came the infamous Dell Power problems... Will it charge today, will it not? Will it power on? How many times will I have to press and hold the power button this time? Will I be able to even do a hard reset? The internet is full of these stories now. I must have taken apart this laptop >50 times now trying to fix these issues (Yes, I'm a technician). I even took it to other technicians who couldn't initially diagnose the problem.
Now in Denmark, I finally had to order a brand new motherboard directly from Dell in Denmark, which I suspected wasn't actually new. Installed it easy peacy and it somewhat worked (randomly kept starting in diagnostic mode and having to hard reset frequently).
Then the bezel rubber bumper seal around the screen started coming off! Again, lots of this on the internet. Then the "new" motherboard started failing as well (similar symptoms as the original and some new ones), until the laptop died completely...
Again, I contacted Dell Denmark, who informed me I had to pay for a new motherboard even though the other one was only a few months old at this point. Ok, a new laptop is 10x the price and I have to access all my stuff, so... I order it and transfer the money to Dell Denmark.
It's now been almost a month since I initiated the long process of attempting to order the next motherboard in line for my laptop. I have paid and provided everything Dell has asked for with immediate responds. Still, every day I wait for a new MB in the mail...
What on bloody earth is going on here? How is Dell still in business? Where and to whom can we report this?
Cheers,
Another Dell Victim
This is the first bad review that I’ve…
This is the first bad review that I’ve ever left for a company. Normally I would just suck it up and move on with my life. Not this time, not with Dell. I have honestly never been this frustrated with customer service before. They have wasted so much of my time. 6 MONTHS I have been waiting for my laptop. That’s not even the part that bothers me. The sloppy, half-assed responses, the fact that I have to constantly seek them out for an update and no-one takes responsibility for anything. I can’t even reach them anymore. They’re literally ghosting me. I spent 30.000DKK with them and they’re ghosting me 😂 I am beyond furious with this company and would strongly recommend anyone considering this brand to try something.. anything else. It’s too late for me now. I’m in too deep and will not rest until I have caused them as much inconvenience that they have caused me. But for those yet to buy… stop, take a deep breath, and choose somewhere with more than 2 stars on trustpilot. Because when something goes wrong, you’ll be left half a year later cursing your choices. Run while you still can.
Best service I've ever had
Best service I've ever had. I ordered a new laptop from them expecting that it was going to take a long time to show up due to the ongoing silicon shortage, but it was delivered way ahead of time! I was in the middle of switching addresses so i had to change delivery specifications and when called in to Dell's order support, they handled it amazingly. Everything went according to plan.
Another amazing experience was that I'm a student waiting for being accepted in to university and i spotted, that they had a student discount on the XPS laptops. When asking them if i had to wait until actually being accepted, i got to know that i wouldn't have to wait and i could get the 10% immediately.
The only downside with my experience was, that there is no sales support on the danish website and trying to call them before putting the order in was all kinds of tricky. I do not get why every other country than Denmark can have sales support. Nonetheless everything turned out fine and i am very happy for my new computer. An amazing dell XPS 9510, that is an absolute beast for working on.
Great job Dell! I'm truly happy that all of this was possible with such ease in a time where it isn't so easy to send computers on time:)
Min stationær pc gik død
Har en ældre stationær pc som gik død, formentlig pga en Windows opdatering.
Fik fat i Alex S. fra teknisk support, som fixede problemet med Dell Recovery tool. Tak for god service og support
Arrived on time, great quality machine
Ordered the XPS15-7590 i7 with the 4K display. Laptop arrived on time. Have had no problems the 3 months I have owned it. Overall it is a great laptop with a gorgeous 4K OLED, not available anywhere else at this low price. The only negative is that i find the keyboard quality a bit lower than what would be expected for a high end machine. But apart from that, great job.
Terrible support service
Ordered an expensive 4k monitor from a website in Denmark. Support on the website redirected me to Dell support. Monitor bought at the beginning of April, came damaged. Promptly reported the case to the Dell support, they assured me the monitor would be sent in two weeks and closed the case. Since then my case is there on the website, the guarantee to expire in another 60 days and vague emails from them. Do not recommend
Ordered an laptop are 51 top model
Ordered an laptop are 51 top model. After some problem with payment the order finally went through. Then after 5 days got an email saying Dell cancelled the order due to some configuration problem. No offer to solve the problem og explanation of what the problem was. And every configuration ordered was offered by their site. They said i could make a new order. Yeah right. Im never ever going to buy Dell again and will forever recommend everyone against it.
Dell - bad or non-existing costumer service
I have for days now been trying to get hold of Dell to have some advice concerning a laptop. I have been put on hold for hours, but did not succeed in having a person at the other end. I have also asked Dell to call me back - twice - but again no luck.
I have bought Dell computers and laptops several times, but now I dare not do it again for fear that their technical service is as bad as the customer service.
WHAT A SHAME!

Dell refuses support for a laptop that crashed on first start-up
I bought a Dell XPS 13 with Linux pre-installed, in order to avoid the usual hassle of installing Linux myself and to have a nicely tuned software-hardware combo. The darn thing crashed on first start-up. Google showed the DELL-SPECIFIC problem was well known (!) but without solution.
I contact Dell and they blankly refused to help. "It's a software problem" - not our problem. Dell: knowingly selling a flawed product and blankly refusing support - never again, thank you.
