I have never felt the need to post a review like this before, but after my experience with Denefits, I feel it’s important to warn anyone considering using this company—especially those seeking mental health treatment.

Denefits partners with clinics offering life-changing services like ketamine therapy, which is often a last-resort intervention for people dealing with deep emotional trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or depression. These are vulnerable patients, making massive emotional and financial commitments, and the way Denefits handles communication is not only unprofessional—it is emotionally damaging.

After already completing what I was told was required to begin treatment, I was contacted by a representative (Tiana Scott) with back-to-back emails 16 minutes apart, disregarding my clearly stated preference for text communication due to anxiety. The tone of the messages was pushy, passive-aggressive, and completely dismissive of my concerns. When I attempted to calmly explain the discomfort I felt, I received a gaslighting, argumentative reply disguised as a polite response—which only served to invalidate my trauma, escalate my anxiety, and destroy the progress I made after my first infusion.

Let me be clear: this treatment is costing me nearly $7,000—a huge financial burden I took on with hope and vulnerability. And now, that first $1,000+ infusion is a complete wash. Why? Because the emotional benefit I gained was completely wiped out by the unprofessionalism and cruelty of how I was treated.

I’m now in a full panic state, worse than when I began. The progress I made—gone. The trust I was starting to build—shattered. And the person responsible (Tiana Scott) has shown absolutely zero self-awareness, empathy, or ability to handle trauma-informed communication.

This company has no business being involved in healthcare of any kind. If this is how they treat patients, they are a liability—not a partner in healing.

Avoid Denefits at all costs. Especially if your life depends on the care you’re receiving.
