I got an injury to my eye and the company takes no responsibility
Having used a lot of Depend products for over 20 years, I accidentally bought a product that looked like the lid of an eye and eyebrow tint I bought last year. It had an eye and eyebrows visible and the name, highlighted in black, began with "ögön", swedish word for eyes, which unfortunately made me assume it was a product intended for eyelashes, too. I don't even understand which product would sell well only as an eyebrow tint, but I could be wrong.
I made a mistake as the company reminded me and didn't read the Finnish text on the lid, which was clearly smaller than the name, and it read "kulmaväri" which is finnish word for eyebrows. I read the mixing instructions and noticed a different hydrogen peroxide.
The burning started in my eye and eyebrow very quickly even despite prior testing, which customer service suspected later. I rinsed the ingredients off right away. The substance stuck to my skin, which is typical of Depend. They know about it and customer service advised me 2 days later to wipe the color off (as if that hadn`t occurred to me in 20 yrs?) Both problems were still bothering me the next day. I contacted the company by calling. No answer. With a form.
The company is in no hurry and doesn't call or answear to. Not even if the customer can't see well. The company blames the customer, who already understands her reasons, and asks that the company think about the product, whether it is good as it is, whether the image of the eye and eyebrow is also good on the cover, and whether it needs to be so strong, because the substance has been strengthened. Does not call according to wishes and does not justify it, even if the number is requested on the form. Does not answer all questions. Would replace with a similar unsuitable product with the statement "no need but". In the end as a refund, but that too can not just send but a request for exactly the same amount as the product was the account number, even if it is written again for someone with eye pain, inconvenient. A company that says nothing about that long-term customer, because it does not care about it, cannot call an insignificant customer even in that situation, let alone start thinking about any reason in itself.
Maybe eyebrow color is an area to move to, so that customers will switch to beauticians for eyes. Expensive beauticians are not interesting at all.
The feedbackof taking customer and her situation into account and passing on the feedback so that the same thing doesn`t happen to others has not received any response from the company. So this may continue to happen without any thoughts of change in the company.
This happened in Finland but because it's Swedish company and nobody cares to look at the case there I send this here.
