Super easy to book!

Excellent App and website, well laid out and lots of choices! We were looking specifically for a hotel, easy to filter and search with almost immediate confirmation. Great option available, dependent on spend, to pay small deposit up front then remainder later. Fabulous prices too... Happy :) *****

Complete and utter scammers

Complete and utter scammers.
Bought a return flight with destinia, when i arrived to the airport, i was told that no reservation was made for me, and that if i wanted to get on the plane, i’d have to buy a ticket on the spot. i was on hold and transferred between multiple destinia agents, of which one was operating from a room with a crying baby, and the other one walking through the street with cars honking in the background. it came to a point where i had nothing to do since no one was actually helping me and the gate was already closing i had no choice but to buy a ticket for 2 times the amount what i initially paid, and i never got a refund. save yourselves the time and energy and book with anyone else, i dont know how destinia can morally allow themselves to continue operating.

Nightmare. Double charged then claimed I booked twice. Refund refused. Had to chargeback through bank

They double charged be then said I had booked two rooms.

When I made them aware of the issue they said the rooms were non refundable even though the website messed up.

Now they're fighting the dispute with my cc company.

From there, we´ve tried arguing with the hotel for the refund of one of the stays, but the property´s denied it due to the purchase conditions.

As such, we could not proceed with any refund.

Good service

I use Destinia hotel booking service more than six years and have only positive experience. Easy and simple in handling, all instructions are easy to understand. I had one case than overbooked hotel cancelled the reservation , Destinia provided for me other hotel even better for the same price. I recommend Destinia.

Great customer service

Due to a medical emergency, I was no longer able to go on holiday. Diego (ext 223) was really helpful and compassionate and kept me updated along the way. Really great customer service from Diego and the rest of the team.

I just got my from my vacation at Ocean…

I just got home from my vacation at Ocean Riviera Paradise. When I was booking the vacation I went directly to the hotel’s website to prevent using a third party or agency. Come to find out the hotel uses Destinia as their booking.
My vacation was booked and payed for 3 people, me, my husband and our 1.5yr old. On our travel date we found out my husband could not flight into Mexico due to immigration restrictions. We were issued a credit by the airline. I made the decision to go with my son to prevent loosing all the money on the reservation. I notified the hotel and what I believed was their customer service, however it was Destinia. I kept going back and forth with them and the hotel requesting a future credit for my husband granted he would not be there, and it was only me and my son. They are denying the credit, no reason for it. They just keep saying the hotel doesn’t want to issue one. Truly disappointed as I liked the hotel and did want to come back once my husband was allowed to come into Mexico. It is very sad to realize how money hungry many of these corporations are that they cannot issue a $600 credit that will be used through them anyways. That is 3 customers lost that would’ve spent thousands. Do better.

First of all, we´re sorry you had to go through these issues during your vacation in Mexico.
As informed by our colleagues, we tried our best to argue for a partial refund alongside the hotel, being your husband could not travel.
But unfortunately, the property did not agree with it, so it was not possible to go foward with any reimbursement.

This company have lied about opening a claim and a refund request for a hotel that they told me I could cancel for free until the 19th June 2025. Sacchum resort have had no communication from Destina.com and know nothing about this absolute mess.

One had free cancellation and the other did not and the one that has been cancelled by the customer is the one that could not be cancelled.

Our customer service department is in contact with the supplier of the booking to try to remove the charges. We are doing everything possible to rectify this misunderstanding.

Be very careful with what you purchase…

Be very careful with what you purchase on here as customer support is abrubt, unsympathetic and not willing to help. We paid good money for a 3 night stay at an all inclusive and whilst following the correct links for a Seaview balcony room it took our money and gave us a land view instead. Currently speaking with credit card for a way to reverse the transaction due to trades description. Destina are telling me I clicked the wrong link despite me screenshotting the correct one we selected. Despite me begging and trying to resolve this by asking Destina to modify the booking and for me pay whatever difference is required so we get exactly what we want they are just shutting me down in the most abrubt tone. Book directly with the hotel next time.

Based on my experience, I believe this company engages in highly questionable practices and cannot be trusted.

An agreement was made for an annual bonus equivalent to a full month's salary, meaning that instead of receiving 12 salaries, I would receive 13.

In the annual meeting, I asked if I needed to complete the full year to receive the bonus, and the office manager, Marian, told me that I would receive my proportional share.

However, after I left, I discovered that I would not receive the bonus. In addition, I was denied three days' pay under the excuse that I requested to leave quickly.

This company lacks the minimum standards of professionalism. I do not recommend it at all.
