When I found out that my boyfriend was spending time with someone else, this service confirmed my suspicions.
I never thought I would use such services, but Detectico has changed my perspective!
I’ve started using Detectico to keep an eye on my grandfather. He often wanders about the city, and now I can track him.
I am truly grateful to the Detectico team, especially David Nill, not just for listening to my concerns but for genuinely empathizing and providing the best solution!
Wishing this amazing app and the fantastic team behind it all the success ahead!
Everyone in my family has started using this service. It's handy for finding someone in the city.
Absolute scam. Thought I was paying 85 cents and had 32 swiss francs deducted from my account.
The app does not work. As said the number I was tracking was in Los Angeles where the person was in Switzerland a couple of hours before.
I unsubscribed immediately and demanded a refund

Absolute disgrace how this company can still be operating,I’m still waiting for my refund of $74 that was unauthorised & taken from my account, they will set up pages where you think your paying $1.19 or so only to find out they take $74 without your consent, absolute scam!

I lost a phone and accessed Detectico to solve the problem and opted for the 1 day trial, but then some offers appeared on which I pressed continue and unfortunately $17.48 was taken from my account and I am currently waiting for a refund.

I used Detectico to find out where my colleagues were during business trips. It's really convenient!
I was charged $49.80 when the amount that I confirmed to pay was only $0.79.
My friend lost her phone, so I tried to look for it on this website. Initially, it asked for $0.79 for something that was seemingly a 1-time purchase, so I decided to try it. Then it moved to another screen that showed some add-ons that would cost around $50, so I tried to back out of it that there weren't an option. I ended up not even using any service from it.
Fast forward to some time after the incident, I was charged for $49.8. After some digging I found out that the initial payment was for a 1-day trial, which was not made clear at the time of payment. I contacted the customer support trying to get a refund but was declined and could only either froze the subscription or get 1 more month for free, which is not even what I want.
Recommend anyone reading this to avoid this product at all cost. You can see how bad it is from all the 1 star reviews. Ruined my entire day.

This app doesn't not work
Detective ask for your credit card and be careful. Easy way to make money with people desperate to find his phone and given credit card information to them.
Look all the reviews they give then **

I lost my phone and I search for app, and I found detectico and this app show their charge of 1.19$ and then I pay … In next step this app show 55$to 66$ to find my phone . So that I didn’t pay but this app automatically subscribed me deduct 66.45$ from my account … And there is not refund policy…. So beware of this app.
Don’t give your card details to this application.
I think, this is fraud organisation … who despoils people

I wish I would have read the reviews before jumping into this Detectico thing emotionally - rather than logically. I was sceptical from the start that the App/Program would work. Getting little signs and changes in my partner and wife of 25 yrs and trying to find out - looks like I made the wrong choice, choosing this site.
WHY...? Try and make this short - "Spoke to Dan in there support team. Explain that I couldn't get my partners phone as she left the home. "No worries he says pay more {$395.88..!!!!!! AUD) get this premium crap and it works anywhere in the world without having to get the targets phone - no problem.
Even though I chose the area code for Australia - EVERY search finds people in the USA, and furthermore 90% of their findings say "SORRY SOMETHING WENT WRONG...." or "unavailable).
Basically DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY...!!
Some things in life you can't change - people come and people go - yes easier said than done BUT THAT'S THE HARD FACT
Received a response after providing more details to Customer Support.. Basically gave me the run around telling me the product works when it doesn't - NOT the way I was enquiring BEFORE I made the purchase.
Misleading, DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY

My husband lost his phone and signed up to the service for the free trial - didn't use it as found his phone in the interim. Tried to cancel subscription the same day but the password sent did not work so couldn't log in. When he contacted customer support they just sent in the unsubscribe details BASED ON LOGGING IN! Which he couldn't do in the first place! So frustrating and now the free trial period is over and we have been charged and STILL can't cancel! This is such a scam - not happy.

nothing is bad about it in perticular actually it just that when i saw it online i thought it was something they could do without alerting them or anything my girlfriend has been cheating on me for the past few days i wanted to know if it is possible to track people with just the phone number and i searched on google and it popped up along side the eyez or whatever it is reallly called so i paid into that one then it linked me to you for number tracking and stuff and my girlfriend is really smart she knows how to cover her tracks and knows she dont got to click unknown links so i gave up on it because it couldnt do what i wanted and i canceled my subcription so far the site is good but needs alot of upgrade i mean i could do all this myself with just SS7 but that will require me going back to get the tools neccesary for that so it pretty much messed up i had to cancel this subcription and ask for refund same with the ezye site but they havent replied me yet so am kinda pissed off really

It's not a scam, exactly, but it is VERY, VERY, MISLEADING and there are lots of RED flags!
In the Terms of Use it says:
“An SMS is then sent to the Recipient… The Recipient is then free to accept or refuse this request..."
In the FAQ it says:
“…person on the receiving end of the text taps the link in your message, it’ll reveal their location…”
So, it will only work if someone has the phone and accepts the request. Hmmm, I can’t see how that works for a lost phone. RED flag 1!
The photo of the mobile phone on the web site clearly shows the SMS message with a request to click a link. Geez, does anyone trust an unsolicited link sent to them in an SMS these days? People will see this as a phishing scam and delete the message. So, it’s a VERY UNRELIABLE and UNSOPHISTICATED method to track a phone. RED flag 2!
I then read the reviews. They fall into two clear ratings: 1 star and 5 stars, with nothing in between. The '5 star' ratings are repetitive and recycle the same, very simple, one liner sentiments. I think in an attempt to offset the huge number of '1 star' reviews. Red FLAG 3!
The reviews of using the service for lost phones are misleading, based on the ToU and FAQs on the vendor site. Red FLAG 4!
The reviews on the vendor web site are all 5 star. This does not reflect the more ‘real world’ reviews on independent sites. RED flag 5!
My advice - Read the FAQs, the Terms of Use and the honest public reviews before making a decision. Too many RED flags for me, I decided to stay clear.

Click-bate company. Reading the 1 star reviews, I had the same issue. Opted for the USD0.89 24 hour trial and was sent to a page to purchase a ScanAssist package for USD17.48. It’s designed that one has to purchase the package. Once I did, I tried the service. Didn’t work. I requested a refund and same story, they only refund 25% of the full amount. This is a scam. I will not be recommending Detectico to anyone. Dishonest company policies.

I purchased 1 day trial just to realise that this service doesn't work the way I thought it would (sending a text with link to target phone). As a result, I didn't use it and within 2 minutes of purchasing the trial, I wanted to cancel it right away to avoid the subscription being renewed automatically.
I have not been able to enter my account after several attempts despite submitting the password provided by Detectico in an email.
I have emailed their customer support but have yet to hear from them. I am guessing that this will be dragged out so that I will ho past the 1-day deadline for the cancellation of subscription.
In retrospect, do not use this service. It pretends to be straight forward but once you pay, you will discover it is not.
