Gemini 1's replacement
Thank you to Shanna at Devialet Customer Care for identifying that my Gemini 1's were draining battery too quickly. She was able to speak to her technical department and ship out a refurbished pair as a replacement. She was fair and helpful and I'm glad I was able to deal with her. Thank you so much for explaining the process to me and being patient when troubleshooting the issue. I also have a pair of phantom golds that I am very happy with and I'm glad that Devialet stands behind their product.

I have been thoroughly pleased with my Devialet experience and the exemplary customer service received. I purchased my Devialet Mania on Valentine’s Day and soon discovered a minor cosmetic defect on the speaker. Upon contacting Devialet, the team promptly arranged for a courier to collect the speaker from my home, no questions asked. To my delight, within two weeks, I had a replacement speaker delivered to my doorstep from France via air shipment.
More recently, I faced an issue where my speaker wouldn't connect to my WiFi, disabling my ability to use AirPlay. I reached out to their customer support, and Johnny answered my call. After I provided screenshots from the Devialet App and router details, Johnny quickly identified a solution. Following his guidance, connectivity was restored and the system now functions seamlessly.
Mania not working well
I bought the portable Mania, because I wanted good sound while using Amazon’s Alex. First it didn’t work at all. After a software update it kind of works. However, it takes up to a minute for a radio station to start. Overall understanding ist worse than any other Alex supporting product I know.
Playing from an iPhone 13 Pro from Spotify sometimes works, sometimes not. Latency is abnormally high.
The sound is very good, especially at higher volumes.
More problems with the Phantoms
More problems with the Phantoms. Do not even connect with simple Bluetooth. A buggy, hit and miss waste of a huge amount of money.
Mealy mouthed support with no real solutions.

Bought about 5 devialet product and all covered with extended warranty devialet care. Been communicating with their customer service and apparently not helpful with the situation. Paying for product hardware failure while in extended warranty. Highly recommend that you do not trust their devialet care. Been almost 2 months just communicating with them via email to get my earbuds fixed.
Unmaintained buggy firmware
I bought an Expert Pro 140 and it turned out to be quite a disappointment. Claims to be a "high end" device but the firmware is buggy and seems not to be maintained by Devialet.
Horrendous Customer Service
I've hardly ever found myself THAT mindblown by a customer service. The process should be simple, no?
Have an issue with your earbuds (after barely 6 months but we'll let that slide), call the customer service, mail it to them, and get a new one/yours repaired.
Absolutely not.
First of all it is a true hassle getting to contact the customer service, the FAQ section is a true maze with nothing truly useful. After explaining my issues which were clearly coming from faulty components in the earbuds, I was advised to... clean them. Sure. Once it was done and nothing had changed (big surprise) I've been advised to mail them to the Devialet Factory.
I mailed my earbuds in late November. I had ONE email of update in December, and only because I asked for information since it had been two weeks since the mailing and they said it would take much less time. I pretty much was told that "Mmmh, its seems like UPS has an issue with your parcel. We're highly requested these days, better wait more."
Needless to say that in the meantime, I had provided all the screenshots and information showing that I had sent the parcel.
It takes to early January to have some news. You'd think that once Devialet knew I had mailed the earbuds, and got confirmation that UPS lost the package, they'd probably send a new set of Gemini?
Once again, absolutely not. Not only they ask me to press charges against UPS, but they also have the audacity to tell me that I could be sued should I was trying to fraud them.
Absolutely garbage brand, I beg of you, find any other brand, they'll do much better than Devialet. Only giving one star because I can't give 0. And if I could put 0 stars, I'd bargain to put negative stars instead.
Don’t waste your money
Utterly sick of these things. Two Phantom 1‘s now effectively 5 grand book ends. The connectivity is appalling. They either just don’t connect to wi fi/bluetooth or just randomly unpair or drop out mid play. Literally years of unsolved issues and lousy infective software updates. I wish I’d never bought them.
Although the support is prompt, all they really do is pretty much tell you to turn them off and on again or spend ages resetting not only your speakers but your whole WiFi network. Got to the point now where I can’t even be bothered to use them or to try and find a solution.
Amazing when they work but the problem is they don’t.
Please please please don’t waste your money like I did. Do the research and find something less of a gimmick that actually performs like a premium speaker. You have been warned.
Fantastic customer service
I bought a Dione soundbar to improve the sound on a flat screen TV. I had some issues connecting to app on my phone with the Dione. Customer services were outstanding, Marie-Paul persisted over several days, even searching the sound options on my TV until she located the cause of the problem. Now everything is operating as it should.
The Dione is powerful but can be overly "bassy", an issue which I understand Devialet are working on. IF they can sort this out it will be a superb piece of kit.
Mania speaker
I returned a faulty mania speaker after 6 months of use with no problems until now. Returned item and received new one 4 days later . Customer care was Excellent

Not A Lemon
I was hesitating to take one Gemini from local retailer because of some negative reviews across the internet. I wrote to Devialet and a prompt response was there. Johnny was one of the most passionate representatives. He explained that the conceptation of Devialet products was 100% made in France. The factory Devialette collaborated with was the expert in manufacturing wireless airbuds. My Gemini is so far functioning right as expected.
Problems with Phantom IIs
I had a problem with my Phantom IIs, one had a hardware issue that caused it to reboot and the other was assembled with a slight aesthetic issue.
I contacted the customer service to ask for some help, they were able to immediately find a solution and replaced both Phantoms in a matter of 1 week (including sending mines back with their return kit and receiving new ones).
I am honestly extremely impressed by the customer service. All my doubts were clarified along the way. Highly recommended!
They sound cold and digital
They sound cold and digital, and 3000 watt is of course a bluff. On 2 speakers you would need at least 32 amps in your outlet before Spl kicks in. Then you need 64 amps. just an overpriced bluff.

I had a few teething problems to start with because of band width through my internet, David and Christopher have been very helpful in getting to the bottom of this problem and now I’m able to enjoy the experience of my Devialet phantom 2s as a stereo pair.
